The house is beautiful and set up for a magnificent beach vacation in Isle of Palms.
The set up was perfect for the 7 of us ladies and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The elevator made it very easy to arrive and move suitcases from the ground floor to the 2nd &"3rd floor.

Highly recommend. The property was exactly what we were looking for for our multi-generational family reunion. Elevator was a huge plus for my elderly father, beach toys for the kids (wagons to lug them for the dads!), well appointed kitchen, 2 refrigerators. Beach was a 5 min walk; pool in the back if we were even to lazy to do that... Everything we needed to just be able to hang out as a family. Host was very responsive, particularly when we had some trouble with the AC. Repairman was there within a few hours, and she continued to check in regularly for the rest of the trip.

Our group of 2 families spent the 4th of July week in this wonderful home. The house is as advertised & the pictures are accurate. The pool & covered cabana area with gas grill are great for lounging, grilling, & cocktails. The living space inside the house is well laid out. The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms, a bar with full refrigerator, 2 couches & a chair, TV, 1/2 bath, & washer/dryer. The 3rd floor is an open floor plan which is great for large groups to hang out. The kitchen is well appointed with most everything you might want. The house has plenty of outdoor space with porches in front and back of the house. The elevator was nice to use when going from the garage to the 3rd floor with luggage, groceries, etc.
The location to the beach is fantastic. It's a short 1 block walk from the driveway to the beach access & the owners provide beach carts to haul your items. The garage has plenty of beach chairs, games, umbrellas, coolers, etc to use. My only complaint is that most of the beach items in the garage were covered in sand, presumably because the prior renters did not rinse them off, but that's not the homeowner's fault.
As far as communication, Wendy was extremely quick to respond to any questions & had excellent recommendations for bike/golf cart rentals, restaurants, etc. We would definitely rent this house again!

Our daughter and family from CA and our son and family from NC all came for a family vacation. We came from OH. The children loved the pool. The short walk to the beach was a plus. We loved going to Sullivan’s Island for dinner and ice cream. The City Markets in Charleston and lunch at a pub there was very enjoyable. A lot to do. Many great restaurants in Isle of Palms as well.

House was exactly as advertised. Incredibly well stocked. Pool is feels great after a day at the beach. Our family especially loved that the pool wasn’t too warm, we like it refreshingly cool, but not cold. Clean and organized, comfortable and welcoming. Walk to beach was easy and quick.

Great spacious property with superior furnishings!
The home was better equipped with quality cooking utensils, glassware, and pantry than anywhere else we have stayed!
Very short walk to the beach and a pool waiting in the back yard with covered lounge space !
Wendy and Don (owners) were super helpful and available. I hope we’re able to come back, and would recommend to everyone.

This house did not disappoint. Perfect for a family vacation. The weather was not quite warm enough, so the heated pool became essential. Worth every penny just for the heated pool. Would definitely rent this house again.

This property was perfect for our family vacation with our three adult daughters, their spouses, and our five grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 12. There was enough room for everyone. The grandchildren especially enjoyed the heated pool and were in it every day for hours. The proximity to a nice, clean, quiet beach was wonderful. Everything we would have needed for the beach was provided. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to prepare most of our meals. The host, Wendy, provided timely communication. The checkin instructions were detailed and extensive. We would definitely consider coming to this property again.

This Thanksgiving week was our second stay in this beautiful Isle of Palms house.
The kitchen and dining area were perfect for preparing and sharing our large Thanksgiving meal, as well as most of our dinners during the week.
Family members, especially children enjoyed the heated pool every day!

Yes there is a new home being built next door but it did not bother us at all. Some things cannot be controlled. Construction is one of those. We would go back next week if we could!!!!

Perfect for our family of grandparents, 2 grandchildren and 4 adult children. Wendy, host, very attentive to ur needs. Hpouse well stocked. Easy walk to beach. Pool for 3 year old who didn't want to go to the beach. Could to have been nicer. Highly recommend for family beach week.

The house has a nice set up, is well equipped with everything one needs from kitchen to pool and entertainment areas, and is located close to the beach. Our only disappointment is that after arriving Saturday afternoon to a peaceful ambience, we were shaken awake at 8am Monday morning by construction crew working on new build next door. The crews worked from 8am to 6-7pm each day. We did not have advance notice of this and when we told the owner, their response was that they were unaware there was a new build happening because they are not local. Clearly there is no local management involved with this property. We were quite disappointed.

Wonderful multi level living house with ample room for a large family or extended family. Easy very short walk to beach, great beach gear at house for use during stay, and private pool is a perfect size (and depth for younger kids). Very helpful and responsive owner. Overall, a great rental on IOP.

Best family beach vacation ever!
The property is a definite 5 stars with so many extras! Wendy is so attentive and responds very quickly.
Our family came in from all over the country and was wowed by the beautiful house, pool and beach that is so close.
Our favorite part was in the evening after dinner when everyone gathered at the pool cabana to play guitars and sing fun tunes. We also rented a 6 person golf cart that was a highlight for the kiddos. We can not wait to return 😊

Always wonderful!
This was our third year at this wonderful house -- our whole family loves it here. It is, by far, the best-equipped house we've ever stayed in for vacation. Everything you need is there, from laundry detergent to trash bags. The house is beautifully laid out with lots of room for both the adults and the children. Our grandsons spent a lot of time in and around the pool, which is nicely landscaped and very private. An added bonus is having the great city of Charleston only 15 minutes away -- great dining, shopping, and historical sites galore.
The beach itself is only a half block away -- an easy walk. And it's never crowded, very walkable, and the water is warm. Sometimes you even find sand dollars, especially after a storm.
It's a perfect place for a vacation!

It was extremely warm so we truly enjoyed the pool vs going to the beach which was a short walk. Quite neighborhood.
Very well stocked with household and cooking supplies, linens, toys and games. Recommend if you are planning to use the pack and play remember to bring a sheet that was the only linen not supplied. We had a wonderful week.

The porches and poolside were quite the oasis and everyone found their favorite spot when they needed an escape. The living/kitchen space was so fun. Great Place
This house has all the amenities a family could hope for. A fabulous pool and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. The garage is huge and filled with pool toys, beach chairs, wagons for getting gear to the beach, and umbrellas. Plus many games for kids, just amazing! The elevator was wonderful for unloading when we arrived, and for our daily run to the grocery store just 5 minutes away. The huge living/dining/kitchen area is lovely, and the front porches have the most wonderful breezes all day long. A great place for afternoon naps or reading. Wendy responds almost immediately to any email inquiry. Fabulous week.

The kitchen is the heart of this home and the sign on the wall came true several times (“Our kitchen is for dancing”). Awesome sound system for music. One of our at-home dinners ended up being for more people than planned, and it was so easy - plenty of dinnerware and seating. After dinner, guests relaxed poolside under the moon & stars, or on the couch under the pavilion - Heartwarming when guests thanked me for having found the perfect backdrop for them to celebrate graduation together before going their separate ways.
I should mention the convenient elevator, the stocked supplies, the welcoming treats, the comfy beds, the ample games, beach chairs, towels, etc. There are the most beautiful palm & oak trees on this property, one in particular makes for a gorgeous photo backdrop.

Paradise in the Isle of Palms...
Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was as pictured and had everything you could want in the way of kitchen items and beach toys . The owner was so helpful in giving us tips on local things to do. Beautiful yard and pool with privacy too. Love this retreat ! Thank you for your hospitality.

Ideal Family Beach House
This was the best rental experience I have ever had in all my years of staying in vacation rental homes! The owners communicated so well with me - always answering my questions right away. It's such a beautiful home with so many large windows and porches and all the rooms and porches have ample furnishings. The floor plan of the home was ideal for several family groups to stay together comfortably. The rental comes very well-stocked with attention to details for comfort not usually found. Having a heated saline pool was wonderful for our early spring visit. The owners manual was, by far, the most helpful owners manual we have ever seen! We will definitely want to rent this home again!!
