We very much enjoyed staying in the cottage in the heart of the village. It was clean and comfortable. The only thing missing for us, as we had our dog with us, was a nice outdoor space

Our second stay at this cozy cottage. Great experience from booking through to departure. The cottage is ideally placed in the centre of the picturesque village of Osmotherly and provides everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. With walking on your doorstep as well as 2 pubs and a shop what more could you ask for! Book it. You won't be disappointed.

Superb property, clean and comfy. New sofa so better in the lounge . We did have to buy logs due to the weather for the fire. This is our second visit and we will be back.

Not many words required lovely cottage right in the heart of the village perfect. 2 pubs serving good food right on your doorstep what could be better. The cottage was excellent and great communication with the landlord if required . Would throughly recommend if want to be in centre of a village and great access to both the Moors and the Dale's.

This was our second visit to this property. We booked to make sure that we had a nice post-pandemic break and we’re not disappointed.

We had a very relaxing time . Everything was clean and tidy and the owner had made it very welcoming.

My daughter and family spent 3 nights at this cottage and said it was one of the best cottages they have ever stayed in.

This is a really nice cottage, perfectly located with very helpful staff. The cottage has everything you could ever need and was spotless without being full of rules and notices everywhere. Comfortable beds, good WiFi, p,easy to outdoor area and convenient parking. Bathrooms all new and working well. Osmotherly is perfect, great walks in all directions. Only small issue is that the Anglican Church has overly loud bells every single 15 minutes, inc overnight so take some earbuds if you are a light sleeeper.

The cottage is very comfortable. 4 adults stayed we found that we had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We cooked each night the kitchen was well equipped. Pub across the road another one door up, some noise from them nothing off putting. Village has a shop, 3 pubs, coffee shop , chip shop plus beautiful walks.

A beautiful clean and cosy cottage. Very welcoming and in a perfect location in the centre of the village. The Golden Lion next door does fantastic meals and the landlord was really friendly and very helpful.

What a wonderful stay we had. The cottage is in the middle of a picture postcard village with three pubs, a coffee shop and general store. We loved our stay. The cottage was spotless and so welcoming. It was perfect for our family stay. Lovely bed linen. Outstanding kitchen, decor was beautiful. Would I recommend ... absolutely. Cant wait to return

We went to go walking and there are an abundance of great walks from the door. Lots of pubs and a village store with everything you forgot. The cottage has lovely light bedrooms, a good shower/bath combo, separate loo which is good with groups and an outside area for eating. Kitchen is on the dark side but well equipped. Ability to take a dog was a real plus. Would book the cottage again without hesitation.

Fabulous property in Osmotherley close to all the local restaurants and bars and close to the A19, which connects to all major towns and cities nearby. House was clean and cozy. Took a little while to heat up however this was easily sorted. All the equipment needed to make a Christmas dinner and dishwasher which was handy! Excellent price and lovely welcoming pack included. Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable cottage in great location. Photographs make property look larger. An outside light on front door would help security and safety. Lots of instructions to keep dogs under control. Perhaps a stair gate would make life easier?

Excellent location in the village with three pubs/restaurants within walking distance. The property was clean and nicely decorated with modern kitchen and bathroom. The welcome food

The property itself is just lovely and this is a positive review with just some small bits of feedback. The property is well maintained and very well equipped for our needs and such lovely village setting, that however is where the very small niggles start. Being in a small village and arriving on a Saturday afternoon there was absolutely nowhere to park with people visiting the 2 village pubs and lots of people parking to go on the many beautiful walks close by. We had to park down the road and carry everything up to the property....not the end of the world but worth bearing in mind if checking in on a weekend, especially during the school holidays. Whilst mentioning the pubs, the pub opposite had very loud music playing until just before midnight on Saturday, that followed by an hour of patrons exiting and getting into cars didn't really make for a sound nights sleep on Saturday. However, the next 2 nights were lovely and peaceful. I have visited many properties where dogs are not permitted to venture upstairs and normally those properties come with stairgates to stop wandering pooches going where they shouldn't so this could be an investment for the owners of this house. The food in the Queen Catherine was lovely, all cooked from scratch so a bit of a wait but well worth it! Again, although a few niggles this property is lovely and we did enjoy our stay. Thanks

The property was perfect in every way! Apart from the obvious charm and style as shown in the photographs, the bed linen was of high quality and the towels were generous in number and fluffy. The welcome pack was appreciated and well used. We appreciated the information pack provided including local tourist experiences. A fabulous location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Moors and close to a major road but located in a quiet quaint village. The accommodation was excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Was an overall lovely house but was disappointed when there was only one bathroom when the house was described as having two bathrooms, but apart from that it was lovely.
