We enjoyed staying at Fox Hollow, especially the location in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to Lake Tomahawk and downtown. It was tastefully decorated and the walk in closet was perfect. It was furnished with nice linens as well. The porch was lovely and the weather warmed, allowing us to take advantage of the porch bed. However, the large bathtub was nice, but to use the shower was difficult because of the circular shower curtain which required significant manipulation to move and adjust. Not having a sink in the kitchen area, having to use the bathroom sink, felt unhygienic. Allowing access to a broom or vacuum would be useful for collecting debris from shoes and dust under the bedroom furniture. Tracy was very helpful with sending the check in information that Evolve failed to do even though this was requested twice. While the place was convenient and furnished nicely, we will look for similarly located lodging for our next stay. We do visit Black Mountain often, at least 4 or more times a year, and know the community well.

This cute hideaway was nestled in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from downtown Black Mountain, NC, a lovely mountain town filled with arts, music, antique shops and coffee shops! HUGE bed, fancy tub and rustic decor added a sweet, welcome-home touch!

this property was really quaint and cozy. However, I was not aware that the top of the house was also rented and those renters had two pre-teen boys. It was quite loud as they were yelling and stomping around. I did reach out to the owner, who assured me she would speak with the upstairs renters. The noise died down about 9:30 pm each nite. Just be aware that there could potentially be people above you. The porch bed swing is lovely and we took a couple of wonderful naps out there!

This was fantastic, the huge porch swing bed was awesome, the huge, deep bath tub was amazing, the big bed was so comfortable. I may have found my favorite place to stay when in Black Mt.

My husband and I stayed at the Fox Hollow for a weekend getaway and it was a great location and very accommodating! It was immaculate, plenty of space and had been totally updated! We took a nap on the swinging bed on the porch after site-seeing during the day. The owner had wonderful recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area! We will be back soon!

It was clean and was as described. My husband loved the swing bed in the screened in porch for his morning readings and coffee :)

Unfortunately the pictures were a bit misleading. The tiny kitchenette is located in the room that is the “second bedroom”. It is not even equipped with a sink. The only water source for this place is the bathroom. If you rain the microwave and toaster oven at the same time, it trips the breaker. It is all plugged into a power strip. The landscape was massively overgrown and was being worked on while we were there. Like back hoe equipment - not just trimming and laying down mulch. A credit was given for the disturbance for one day. The parking for our unit was also directly under a tree that dripped large amounts of sap all over our vehicle. We sure enjoyed what the area had to offer, but the accommodations leave a lot to be desired. Would not recommend to any of our friends traveling there.

This was just a getaway for my husband and I and it was AMAZING!! Food in town was so good and everything is close by. I recommend staying here and exploring the mtns!! My fav part was drinking coffee in the morning on the bed swing and soaking in the huge tub! So peaceful! Tim is a great host and we hope to get back to Fox Hollow again!!

This experience was AMAZING. only downfall is the last day we seemed to run out of toilet paper and couldn’t find any within the bathroom. Had to use some napkins. Otherwise I give this rental a 11 out of 10! Very beautiful and homey feeling. Also the owner is quite the gentleman making sure that you know all the information needed upon arrival. Also the travel book inside the home along with photos that point out all the needed info was 100% on point and helpful! One of the best for sure!

Perfect for a couples getaway…

The location was absolutely perfect being right next to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood is super friendly. Definitely on my list to go back.

Fox Hollow was the perfect stay for my husband and baby while we visited family nearby. The bed is super comfy and there is a large closet in the bedroom we were able to put a pack and play in. The location is perfect, close to the main road near restaurants and a CVS. Tim was very responsive and helped us out when we had some questions, we would happily stay here again!

Was a perfect place for a low key moms get away! Would also be great for a couples retreat!

The Space was spotless and nicely decorated. The owner was accessible and super friendly. Cannot control heat/air from this unit but fan and space heater are provided and windows can open. Bathroom sink is the only place to wash dishes/fill coffee pot but that was ok for a weekend stay. The porch is so cute and the backyard is private. Safe neighborhood.

Was a perfect little place to stay at while visiting Black Mountain and Asheville. The bathroom was beautiful and I enjoyed a bubble bath the 1st night. I loved the "where are visiting from " 📌 board once you enter. We would love to stay here again, as we visit North Carolina very often.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Black Mt. Fox Hollow was a great location for Antoine town and a short drive to Asheville. We loved the huge tub and bed swing. The king bed was super cozy and made it hard to get up on a Sunday morning. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very cute and clean. There was a bit of a noise problem, but it was close to town and very comfortable. Nicely decorated.

What a relaxing place to stay. So close to the downtown Black Mtn área. Property was well decorated, we had everything we needed. Host was so accommodating and gave us our privacy. Overall just excellent! Would stay here again.

We had a great time! this was perfect for our long weekend get a way for our anniversary. We LOVED the swinging porch bed and huge tub. Fox Hollow is very clean and cute. Would definitely recommend this place. Only thing you may need to know is I recommend having a cooler to store ice in because there is not a place for it. We bought one down the street at the Dollar General for $20. Other than that the place is perfect!

Fox Hollow was perfect for our weekend mountain getaway. Everything was accurately described in the listing and communication with the host was quick and easy. We spent the mornings enjoying coffee on the porch and nights sitting by the bonfire!

Very nice property! Everything was clean, neat, and orderly. I would suggest providing tea. I am not a coffee drinker. I loved taking a nap on the swinging bed, it was relaxing after a hectic week with 3 grandchildren in Charlotte! I recommend this property.

Our check in was a breeze. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown in a residential area. The furnishings of the rental were beautiful. Wish it was warm enough to use the patio outside because it looked so inviting. Only downside was being a light sleeper and being awoke by footsteps from above. The location was beautiful and you are so close to dozens of waterfalls.

What a wonderful time we had at Fox Hollow! The place is perfect, quiet, clean and comfortable. Cute decor with everything we needed. Loved the extra touches like popcorn and coffee creamer. Would definitely recommend and come again! If I had one suggestion, it would be to state clearly that this is a basement accommodation. The description said entire house, and if I hadn’t read the reviews I wouldn’t have known that it was the basement of a home. Other than that, it’s excellent and beautiful!

I really enjoyed sitting on the front porch on the porch swing and watching the critters in the yard. The property is easy to find, easy to park and close to the highway for your trips. Its close enough to Tomahawk park to walk down there every morning. Also an easy walk into Black Mnt and a 20 minute drive into Asheville. Overall a very easy place to stay. The rental is the bottom story of a house with a separate entrance. There is some noise from the owner and his dogs from upstairs at times, but nothing too bad. I just slept with white noise and it did not bother me. The rental has very small windows, so there wasn't much natural light. Not a problem with a beautiful front porch, and it's really dark at night :) . The thermostat being upstairs was also interesting, it got really cold at times. To be fair, I just threw on a sweatshirt and didn't complain. The owner was really nice and was very responsive to all that I contacted him about. Highly recommend a stay here!

Restaurant recommendations were excellent, Tim is terrific, and responsive. Close to downtown.
