we had the best stay at Lawrence House! the house itself it’s beautiful and so well decorated , feels very homely. the pool area is fantastic and always in the sun. Jorge and Ana are so welcoming, so helpful and have many great recommendations for the area as it was our first time visiting. it is a great location with beaches and the town 10 mins away. while on the trip I got engaged to my partner and Jorge and Ana had spoken with my friends and organised drinks and snacks and candles for our return which was above and beyond ! we will definitely be returning Thankyou so much!!

our room was too small for two adults. room was over personalised with little surface areas for visitors.

The day before my friend & I travelled to Cascais to attend a friend's wedding, the host of Lawrence House, Jorge, contacted me to say he would happily collect us from the station we were just to let him know when we had arrived. Not only did Jorge collect us he then proceeded to give us a tour of his home town pointing out places of interest and good restaurants in the area that we may be interested in visiting during our short stay. He wanted to ensure our short time in Cascais was thoroughly enjoyable, which it most certainly was. Our time at Lawrence House exceeded our expectations, this was down to the hosts Jorge and his wife Ana as they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They are such lovely genuine people who care about their guests and nothing is too much trouble. This is their home and we were very honoured to have been able to share our experience with them both.

There was nothing we didn't like.

It's a wonderful house, very stylish and clean. The owners are really nice, kind and helpful people. They helped us with everything we needed. When we arrived we found a bottle kf water in our room. There is also a coffee maker and they gave us coffe capsules, biscuits. literally everything we needed was included. Really recommend!

Wonderful place to stay on the outskirts of Cascais. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming with lots of advice about the area. They even arranged a table at a lovely restaurant on our first evening. The property had a great pool and our room was comfortable and very clean with a balcony overlooking the pool. Full access to a well equipped communal kitchen and dining room as well as a good choice of restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful home, Jorge and Ana were wonderful and accommodating. We arrived early for check in and our room was not ready. My partner had a bout of food poisoning, they let us check in to an unoccupied room so he could get some rest without hesitation. They give tons of recommendations for the area and you can tell they love showing people the beauty of Portugal. Wish we could have lounged at the pool but we were only there for 2 nights and the weather was cold and rainy. They are communicative hosts and I would love to go back and stay there! The neighborhood is quiet (which I like) but having a car gives you a great advantage. Easy to Cascais and easy (scenic) access around Sintra/Cascais. We got to sample two rooms and they were both thoughtful and cozy :)

This is a house/home, not a hotel, and all the better for it! It is in an upscale residential area but a real haven. The owners have a detailed list of restaurants and cafes nearby; We used two and they were excellent
