Place was exactly as depicted. Clean and spacious. Ingrid was easy to communicate with. I especially liked staying on the ‘quiet side’ of MDI.

The location of this townhouse can't be beat and is very convenient to access Acadia National Park. Due to the location, I would stay here again. I definitely prefer peaceful Southwest Harbor to busy Bar Harbor on the other side of the island. However, with the good, there are a few small annoyances. The walls of the townhouse are very thin and I could easily hear the man in the next unit when he was coughing. Also, I slept upstairs with the door closed and I could still hear other family members snoring downstairs. Sound also echoes on the main level. Despite the sound issues, it was a great townhouse.

We really enjoyed the condo. Great location, very clean and well stocked.

Everything about our little homelet was just right. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. the location was perfect. We were happy to be away from Bar Harbor, but still close enough to get to the hiking we wanted to do and see the sites we wanted to see. The only thing I can think of is that I’ve never stayed in a VRBO before that didn’t provide bath soap. Other than that life was good, and we appreciated the bottle of wine. We will definitely stay there again. Having the barbecues outside and the chairs in the grass to just sit and sip wine and watch the sunset was really perfect. We got to see deer and wild turkeys and Falcons and just beautiful scenery.

Wonderful 4 day in South west Harbour

Very clean and convenient townhome in Southwest Harbor. If you don’t mind a little stroll, it’s a short walk to the shops and restaurants. We prefer the quiet and laid back vibe of Southwest Harbor to Bar Harbor. This townhome was comfortable and fairly quiet. We traveled with another couple and all were comfortable and appreciated our own spaces. We’d stay here again.

The property was clean and lived up to the online pictures. I appreciated the instructions for various appliances, etc., so we didn't have to ponder how to work them. We were on the edge of the village, so it was quiet and convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here as opposed to the Bar Harbor madhouse!

Enjoyed a 3 night stay; clean, comfortable, and convenient location. Perfect for our family of 4. Would definitely stay here again. Easy communication with owner. Close to the park and Bar Harbor but much quieter which is what we wanted.

This house was a perfect fit for us. Loved being on the quiet side of the island and still just a short drive to get into Acadia or over to Bar Harbor. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance or very short drive. Would recommend

Stayed with our 17- year old daughter & 14-year old son, who were happy to have their own twin beds and bathroom apart from us parents. We loved the spacious place to cook breakfasts and a dinner and do laundry. Construction in the backyard bothered us one day, but our fault since we were sleeping at noon bc we had gotten up early to see the sunset on Cadillac Mnt! Ingrid was quickly responsive and I loved the little shops and nearby restaurants.

Great deal for a vacation visit to Acadia NP. Choose Southwest Harbor if you want to be on the quiet side (and away from Bar Harbor). The property was nice, a good value for the money.

This was the perfect place for us to stay, with just a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was also very convenient having laundry facilities since we stayed several days.

While this property was nice enough, I probably will never rent here again. I go away on vacation just so I don't HAVE to do housework, yet we were instructed to make sure dishes were put away if they were in the dishwasher, the beds had to be stripped and I had to start laundry. What am I paying an exorbitant cleaning fee if I had to make sure all this was done? I get that most people are slobs and you don't know who will be messy and who won't, but this kind of soured my feeling for renting here again. Also, the unit next to us was super loud - we could hear everything so not very good insulation.

The place is very spacious, very clean, and very comfortable. Ingrid supplied many items. We had everything we needed to cook some meals. Bed comfy. The washer/dryer were immensely helpful. We will absolutely stay there again if we come back to Acadia. Ingrid is wonderful.

Southwest Harbor is a real find for us; right on our doorstep, excellent restaurants, not as busy as Bar Harbor, which we also enjoyed. We spent more time Acadia than we expected and still didn’t see half of it. Accommodation was perfect for our needs.

Wonderful stay! The location can’t be beat. Walkable to downtown Southwest Harbor with a few cute places to visit. Great food in the area as well. Only 20 min to Bar Harbor and an easy drive. With no AC and us visiting on a hot weekend, the place was a little stuffy at night, but there were powerful, but quiet, fans in every room that really helped. The kitchen has very basic amenities so if you’re planning to cook you’ll want to bring or buy spices, cooking oils/spray, etc. All plates and cups provided are glass so if you’re coming with kids, we had two littles, bring some kid safe cups/plates for the kids. All appliances worked great, so nice to have laundry available. The place is very updated and very clean. Would absolutely recommend this townhouse!

Excellent. Exactly as advertised

The property is wonderful for a family. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms with plenty of space for relaxing, cooking, and whatever else you might like to do - including catching up on some laundry. The location is conveniently close to Bar Harbor and Acadia but also benefits from being in a quieter location that offers a little more reasonably priced options as well as quaint restaurants, dark park sky watching and so much more! It was easy, convenient, beautiful, and a wonderful accommodation. I would highly recommend!
