Reviewer Comments: While the view is magnificent, the unit is very small and outdated. The Ringling Brothers wall art and furniture is disturbing and very outdated. We had to have the kitchen faucet replaced as it would not work correctly. Appliances are old and dirty. So much furniture in the bedroom makes it hard to maneuver around bed. Blinds on both bedroom window and doorway are broken and don't cover adequetly. Price is obviously for the view, which is great, but over priced in my opinion. Location is great while being able to walk to the beach without crossing main road. Manager is amazing, she was very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

The unit is nice. The beach and pool are fabulous! The bed is comfortable and the unit is quiet. The lady in the office is really great. No complaints or issues.

Staff on site and at the RVA line led me to believe everything was great. It wasn't. I should have been allowed to reschedule and wasn't. I'm extremely upset about it!

Overall our trip was amazing. Saw dolphins and manatees each day. Weather was amazing. Unit was fine for our quick two night stay. Garbage was left in kitchen and had knats all in it. That wasnt pleasant but didnt ruin anything and property manager was very apologetic and offered to buy us breakfast.

Love this beach area!

It’s the first time we stayed in this unit, we’ve stayed at SS many many times, great place. It reads 4 can sleep in the unit but it will accommodate only 3 people. It has a king size bed and a futon -almost twin size. A couple cannot sleep in this futon. It has 2 rattan swing chairs which occupy most of the living room. I understand the ringling bros theme but a lighter color decor would be a better choice.

Small but comfortable. Bed was comfortable and clean. AC was turned down and cool and room was very clean upon arrival. Ground clean. Beach accessories available and convenient. Shuffle board and putt putt were nice and accessories available for all. Pool was clean and accommodating. Cons..ceilings are low. Hit hands on ceiling fan several times taking off shirt. Couch futon definitely WOULD NOT be comfortable to sleep on. Sliding door hard to open and close due to rust I’m assuming. Fridge seems older and rusted in surface areas but worked perfectly fine.

Beautiful private resort beach with chairs on the beach and available umbrellas if desired. Location is in a Quiter area. We prefer the quiet side of the island. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only complaint is the paper towels and toliet paper providing is so cheap and thin you need to use way more than you would have with a higher quality product. We actually just bought our own. Over all we do highly reccomend Silver Sands and plan on staying again

The property is older but the location on the second floor with a tremendous view of the pool and Gulf makes this unique. The unit could use some updating with a newer couch and the basket chairs are a bit hard to get up from. Again, the view overcomes any shortfalls. Also,Margaret the Manager was marvelous.

This condo is in an excellent, well-run resort, on a beautiful, uncrowded beach. The view is gorgeous from the large balcony, and the bed is extremely comfortable with lovely bedding. We enjoyed the huge pool, and beautiful grounds. The ice maker didn't work, but when I inquired about an ice tray at the front office, Margaret dashed out and came back with a bag of ice for us. Wow! She was top-notch! Unfortunately, we didn't find the furniture in the unit comfortable, at all. We had to use folding camp chairs that we keep in the car.

Great condo, 2nd floor unit. We were there for the weekend to attend a wedding and this unit was fine for what we needed. The balcony is screened, overlooking the pool and the Gulf, which is only a few steps away. We had a problem with a slow shower drain, and let the property manager (who was very friendly) know when we checked out.

My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and enjoyed beautiful 85 degree weather and delicious food every day! We saw beautiful sunsets from the quiet spot on the beach! The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. I loved the swinging chairs in the living room! We did have two minor complaints. The room had a slight musty smell and when we ran water in the kitchen sink there was a bad odor but the water tasted fine. We think the smell came up from the drain. Despite those minors issues we will definitely plan another stay here in the future!

Unit needs attention. Needs new bed linens. There were no beach towels. Very small bathroom mirror. Unit is dark and needs more lighting. Kitchen needs upgraded dishes, utensils, cookware. Ice maker didn’t work and there were no ice trays to make ice. Needs a comfort chair. Pool was closed during the first 2 days of our visit. We were there for a family visit and we were very happy with that.
