The check-in process was extremely easy, the unit is clean and the location right on Polo Beach cannot be beat. Sleeps 4 very comfortably and there is tons of space. The only downside is that the unit needs to be renovated, there is broken mirror which needs to be replaced and there are some accessibility issues with the bath/shower in the master. There is no way an elderly person could access the shower in the master bath. It is actually a little dangerous for anyone. Also, why do all of these older condos in Hawaii have carpet? It really doesn’t make sense with the humidity and sand ever present. Overall, the unit is great but needs an update.

Exceeded our expectations. We will be back. The building layout is brilliant, providing each unit an ocean view. The kitchen and main living area made us feel at home. Staff on and off property were wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. Great location and unit has everything for a pleasurable experience. The place hasn’t been maintained very well — the roller shades are hit and miss for staying up and one of the bedroom ceiling fans kept me up because it “clicked and thudded”. Other than minor annoyances, it was a good stay.

This property is exactly what our family wanted for a Maui base. Especially appreciate being literally on a public (yet seemed private), never crowded beach. Walkable to world class resorts for great meals also huge plus. I will definitely stay here again if I can make it back to Maui.

This property was right on the beautiful Polo Beach! The condo was equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas and water toys. I liked the convenience of being on the bottom floor. The Fairmont was right next door and my daughters went over there for a few lunches and we had dinner at the Ko Restaurant. (the dinner was amazing!) We had a private guide pick us up on Polo Beach for snorkeling and a canoe/sailboat ride. We rented a car and drove to several places. The Wailea area was in close proximity to many fabulous places. The check in and check out was very easy and the management team was always very helpful and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

We had nothing but a positive experience. KVM was great. STeps to the beach. Best location ever. Carefull cement path to bech can be hot in afternoon.

The pictures online didn’t do it justice for location!! You can sit in the kitchen or living room and easily view the ocean. Open the sliding doors and all you’ll hear is the ocean and breeze. My family is already planning a return trip!!! The beach is private and amazing. The property is very clean and quiet. Inside the condo, our only wish was a drying rack. Some usual wear and tear on the place but we didn’t want for anything!! Onsite property managers were super nice and helpful. 5 minutes from shopping and 5 minutes to golf!! Huge hit with the kids.

We love this direct ocean front cottage! Easy check in. The beach is great. Loved watching the turtles come in every night.

Great spot - good condos.. all the same... what I don’t like is that it seems like a partial retirement home. No playing catch on the sprawling lawn because one resident doesn’t want to see it? No. They need to decide if the want to be part of the rental pool and make money from their unused overpriced properties or be a place where old ladies come out and wave rule sheets in your face for having a sponge ball in the pool. I get it - I’m not going to throw a bachelor partu there... but ease up a bit, or close the window if you don’t like to hear people having fun.

Polo beach was easily accessible to everything we needed but there was a funky smell to the unit like cat urine or stuffy when unit was left closed

First problem was that when we arrived, someone else was still there. The unit had been double booked for our first day. As it was totally the management company's error, they ended up paying for a night in a suite at the Fairmont Hotel. But that's water under the bridge as there was a change in management companies during the time we were there, which was definitely a good thing. What I'd say about Unit 109 is the location was terrific. Quiet and farther away from others. We felt it was very private. Being on the ground floor also made it very convenient for beach access. With the old style Hawaiian furniture, the unit had a nice homey feel to it. What we didn't like was that the unit felt "dirty." There was dirt and bugs in the sliding door tracks and window tracks and the sliding door to the lanai was difficult to close and couldn't be locked. We felt like the unit needed a "deep clean" including shampooing the rugs because wherever you looked, it was easy to find dirt and grime. Part of the reason we were there was for the views and the big living room windows were so filthy it was hard to see out. The unit obviously had been very poorly maintained and, hopefully, the new cleaning company (that goes with the new management company) will do a better job. I will say this, the new management company was very responsive to the several issues we identified and sent cleaning crews back to clean windows, fix the living room fan, put new handle on the sliding doors and get the sliding door back on track so it would close. I can't blame them for the problems we had and it's a good sign for future renters. What I would suggest is that the owner invest, not necessarily in a major remodel effort, but certainly in a thorough deep cleaning of the unit from top to bottom.

Perfect location. Beach and pool are fantastic. Grounds are immaculate. Unit is great. Lots of beach items provided. Needs some repairs. Slide doors do not lock and bedroom slider requires two people to close it. Found door to laundry area under a bed?

What a wonderful site. The condo, the surrounding grounds, the pool and the ocean were all perfect. There were four of us plus our 2 year old grandson. We all had plenty of room and being on the first floor was great. We really enjoyed the gorgeous path leading to the huge hotels. We spent time in the pool, on the beach, took several drives, explored restaurants and the aquarium, enjoyed a luau, went scuba diving and paddle boarding. The condo, itself, had everything we needed. It was so nice to have sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards at our disposal. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and in excellent condition. We all loved it and hope to be able to return next year.

The unit is well maintained and stocked with amenities and beach equipment, and the beach is within sight! The location is great, with a wonderful waterfront walking path to several high end hotels with restaurants. Every sunset is amazing here. The unit is extra nice if you have kids, as it is on the first floor and there is plenty of space for the kids to roam and get to the beach.

We had such a great time! The privacy, closeness to the beach, beautiful views, were truly amazing! We will definitely be back!

We loved the Polo Beach Club property. The location was the best. We enjoyed the beach and the grounds so much. We especially liked that it wasn’t so crowded and noisy but we could stroll along the beach path up to the bigger resorts if we wanted more activity. Number 109 was nice and was well equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated having the beach chairs and umbrella to take to the beach and the kitchen had more than anything you would want or need. I think the condo could use a little TLC and some updating. The sliding glass door in the master suite wouldn’t open, that was an inconvenience and we couldn’t get any fresh air in the room. We missed feeling the soothing ocean breezes and we couldn’t hear the surf. The master bath shower jacuzzi tub was a little dicey for us seniors to get in and out of too! All in all our vacation at the Polo Club was great and we hope to return! Aloha and mahalo for letting us stay with you!
