What a great place to kick back and relax.

Everything you could want, overlooking the water. I had a stand up paddle board which was great to use straight from the front yard.

From booking to checkout, everything was very easy and efficient. Louise, the owner was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our first time to Russell Island and we will be back. The house is extremely well set up, right on the water and the setting is amazing. We spent hours sitting on the back deck watching the boats go by. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. We loved our stay.

The place was very clean and tidy on arrival. Has absolutely everything u need for ur stay other then the food u eat. Great location and very quiet. My family and I had a fantastic time and will definitely stay again and again. Great friendly communication with the host. All and all a fantastic place to stay on the island.

We came over to Russell Island from Tasmania for a wedding held at the local nursery this beautiful water front home was perfect close to the local IGA, pool, chemist, hair dresser and sea link ferry. Over all a ten out of ten and we will be back. Thank you to the owner for having us.

This compact, beautifully appointed home, felt so roomy and had everything we needed for our stay on the island. We enjoyed the ever changing view of the life on the water from both inside the house as well as on the spacious deck. And brekky in the sun on the deck was a morning delight. We will definitely be returning when we next come to Russell!

Photos are accurate of the house. Host was great to deal with & its close to Rsl & conveniently not too far from the central local shops & easy drive to car ferry barge also. Would recommend & book again. Very clean & well presented. Comfortable beds & well organised with large fridge. We tossed up between 3 properties to stay at & was glad we choose Russ Vegas. Loved the location on the water. Our only suggestions would be that a couple folding chairs are a good idea to have & be able to use on the front patio to sit there & also use on the back water side grass area to help n use when u r fishing from back water area along with small fishing table or some other outdoor furniture at the water grassed area would hav bn helpful & awesome also. A quiet, no fuss, peaceful, well equipped home with just the right amount of space and amenities. Beautiful outlook, and just the right place for relaxing. Highly recommend.

Excellent location on the water. Dugong and turtles put on a great show on the ebbing tide. Star gazing at night was awesome. Friendly locals and taxi service was very convenient.

The house and owners communication were great but the Stayz app was horrible. First I booked dates, then paid, then app said dates not available but didn't give me any option of alternitive dates or a refund. So I chose 3 earlier days, then told one of them not available. I couldn't contact owner because still no number to set up app, I kept waiting for a code number to arrive (36 hours) so I could install the app. Managed to contact owner n confirm days only via our own emails (third night already booked) so only got 2 nights. Finally got confirmation whilst on the ferry to the house n then read that I was supposed to take my own linen!! Thanks for nothing Stayz.

It really is a lovely place…ideal for dropping your tinny/kayak off your own boat ramp, fishing off the rear lawn and the views of the water and North Stradbroke amazing. So quiet you can hear the quiet…. Apart from when the neighbours kicked off….twice during our stay (we were only there 4 nights) and the shouting and swearing was downright disgusting. Not a place to take your young ones or easily offended family members! Also while the house was clean enough, the windows and blinds could do with a good clean and dust ( I live by the water so know that the dirt had built up a while) and perhaps ask your cleaner to include the ceiling fans in her routine.

Wow what a beautiful destination. So well set up for guest as well. Lovely clean home and surrounds, quiet neighbourhood with beautiful views from the back deck. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

It was our first trip to Russell Island and we found this accommodation last minute. Louise was very quick to respond to our request to stay. The house was perfect for our needs, we loved it. It was neat and tidy but still has some character. We arrived in the night and were wowed by the amazing view in the morning. If you are into boating or fishing this place is ideal! There is also a concrete path all the way into ‘town’ which would be a great ride, probably a little too far to walk. We would 100% recommend!

We were in need of a couple of nights respite and this property delivered. Peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen and bathroom were particularly impressive. To be able to fish only a few metres from the back deck was so convenient.

Great location …. The house had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Very clean and tidy. Definitely coming back
