The guesthouse was clean and as described in the listing. The room was spacious and with lots of light. If your room faces the square filled with restaurants and cafes opened late, it’s not quiet with the windows open, even closed it can be loud. There are additional shutters at night to help with sound. Bring earplugs or make sure you have a back facing room if noise bothers you. The ac worked well. The location is superb for wandering. The terrace and kitchen area upstairs is a wonderful place to hang out a bit if you want to fix a meal and eat. This is not a guesthouse, they do not provide a breakfast or have staff at the location.

The kitchen is poorly stocked with items for the coffee pod and tea. There were no napkins or paper towels for clean up. The staff is non existent except when the cleaning person is there. So you need to be self sufficient and not mind climbing narrow stairs up and down.

Rooms in the front in the street were a bit noisy as they were above restaurants.

Located in the center, but still quite in the room. Very clean, modern, kitchen with everything needed. It's an ideal variant for short stay during travelling. Definitely recommend!

Nothing that we did not like

I liked the cleanliness and the location. It was in tbe center of the city, and everything was around.

I hated the staff, and the times the property was locked although they knew I was coming. I cane all the way from Spain but that didn't change anything. I had to call over and over again in tbe hot sun in the middle of the day.

Easy access, great room & the communal kitchen is really useful. The location was perfect for us - right by the cathedral. there are several bars outside but we couldn’t hear them. we did have a drink in them though

We had a great stay at the guest house. Everything went smooth with the check in. Got codes for the entrance and the room. Close to everything in Braga, because it is very central. Had our meals just down the street. But you can also use the kitchen at the guest house, that was clean and had enough space. Thank you!

Great place and location.

Staff at this place went well above and beyond to make my stay more enjoyable. The shared kitchen was both functional and had a great view. Adjacent to the cathedral and "action," this location is a great choice for many reasons.

Nice hotel in the center. Restaurants were nearby. I guess normally this is like a hotel/hostel with a shared bathroom and kitchen. We had the floor for ourselves, i.e. a private bathroom. The kitchen was available for all guests. But the kitchen was quite well equipped also with coffe. The room and the bathroom had everything we needed.

Parking is a bit of a hassle. Street parking was quite limited and restricted timewise. The public parking garage is a bit away but not OK and not very expensive.

Very good location - right in the old town, bars and restaurants under your windows. Very clean and beautiful place. Self check in with the code doors. Super-comfy beds. Beautiful and fully equipped kitchen on the upper floor, and a small balcony on the rooftop.

Very loud during the night, but thats what you should count on if you want to stay in the center center :D

Very clean and comfortable. Best location in the town.

The location is great, with food and bars downstairs. The room was good for solo stay, very clean. There is a small kitchen upstairs, with microwave and fridge. I can imagine if there were people staying upstairs, it would be loud, but luckily there were no. I recommend it to anybody who wants to have business/leisure stay for few days.

no breakfast and very little signage. even though Google Maps directed us to the front of the property, we had to ask for help from a local merchant to find the front door.
