We booked this as our family was staying nearby but didn’t have room for all of us! (Okay, I also like time with family but not in such close quarters). This property was perfect! It felt like home immediately. It was very clean and the towels and linens were luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Loved the screened in porch for reading on a rainy day! There were loads of games and we had our family over for a BBQ one night and pizza another on the spacious deck, overlooking the fire pit with the perfect benches around it! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, spices and supplies. We loved the Keurig and kcups (only thing is we didn’t realize it was a keurig or we would have brought our reusable filters. We finally bought a travel one (I am a recycling fanatic). Bedrooms were spacious and I was spoiled by the comfy king sized master bedroom. The deer were amazing and you could tell people must be feeding them as one walked up to me when I got out of my car one day! But they were all over the back yard and we just watched them from the deck or the screened in porch. The host was accessible although we didn’t really need anything! I would definitely recommend

This house was a cozy, tucked-away spot with everything we wanted in a Poconos getaway. We stayed here during the summer for a weeklong family vacation. Everything was just as described in the profile, and the host was always available for any questions we had. It was magical!

The house was a perfect fit for our needs. The location to multiple golf courses makes the travel convenient and the amenities provided in the house worked out great. The house was clean and in great condition. We would definitely book the house again next year.

The property was exactly as described in the pictures and the listing. Very clean and in a great location. The outdoor fire pit adds to the charm of the home. Beds were very comfortable and the house is well stocked with plenty of clean towels and linens. It was a pleasure to stay in Brenda's home and would not hesitate in renting again!

My family had a great time in this home! Plenty of space to hang out inside and out. We loved the fire pit and the screened in porch. They provided plenty of books and board games (and the dining table is great for board games!!). Cabin location was tucked away in the woods while still only 5 to 10 minutes away from food, hikes and the lake. Overall lovely time!

My friends and I had such an amazing time at this property. It was clean and the location was a short drive to white water rafting, which we were looking forward to for this trip. The kitchen was well supplied- we were able to cook, bake, and grill for the weekend with no issues. The sun room was a beautiful touch as the weather during our stay was absolutely beautiful. We had a great time at the fire pit as well.

It is a very nice house! I was amazed at everything that was provided...towels, dishes, spices, laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The only complaint I had was the ac unit in the living room froze up which lead to leaking all over the floor. My daughter went for a good slide before falling. Thank goodness she didn't get hurt. The owner was aware of it and I wasn't told until we came back to a mess and I contacted her. There will be a new unit within the next month, I believe she said.

The property was beautiful and well stocked with videos, books games and puzzles. Looks like it was recently renovated, nicely decorated and very clean. You can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into maintaining and furnishing the house. The only surprise was that you can hear the trucks on the highway at night if you have the windows open in summer. You should bring your own soap and shampoo and I recommend bringing your own towels if you don't want to get up early to wash and dry the towels provided before checking out. Overall it's a lovely home and peaceful quiet place to get away.

All in all we had a wonderful stay. Great communication with host. The house has everything you can think of or need. We had a little issue with the AC leaking in the living room but this didn’t ruin our wonderful time.

The house had everything we needed and was a beautiful get away for our family! The only thing I wish I had clarified before booking was that though it is near the lakes, the house does not come with memberships to the beach clubs at the lakes therefore we had to drive farther away to go swimming. Saying this so that it may be helpful to others looking to get away to this beautiful area, otherwise, it was really perfect and beautiful. Thanks for being such great hosts for us!

A few friends and I wanted to enjoy a weekend learning how to snowboard at Jack Frost and Big Boulder mountains. Brenda's location was perfect, only 10-20 minutes away from either mountain, plus many other ski slopes nearby. The place was spacious and accommodated 6 adults perfectly.

Rented house for 3 days during Presidents week. Family of four with two teens. House was very clean and well maintained. Had all amenities we were looking for and the owner was very responsive to all questions and concerns. Location is excellent. No more than a 10 min drive to restaurants or to Jack Frost. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ed’s Place. The price was reasonable and the house was incredibly clean and well decorated. The beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen cabinets well stocked with pots, pans, plates, glassware, silverware etc. you name it they had it! Also, a great additions was the assortment of coffee and spices Brenda leaves so if you forget something (we forgot cumin) you will be fine! I think they must use this place as their own vacation get away! My only complaint is the walls were pretty thin, so if anyone stays up late playing games, it’s hard for others to go to bed early, and midnight bathroom trips are definitely no secret haha But this house is still absolutely worth it 100%! A must stay!

Good location with a short and easy drive to Ski slopes. The house was clean and well kept. It nicely accommodated my family of four along with my in-laws. We had a wonderful stay and would do it again.

Very nice exactly what we wanted, kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans for all the cooking. Linens and beds were superb. Lots of games stocked. Fire pit outside. We had a great time, would definitely would rent again.

We had an excellent stay at this property in the Poconos (even tried to extend for a day once we were there!). We could tell it had been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived, and everything was in good shape, so that we could use the kitchen and BBQ easily. We stayed with our 3yr old who was delighted to find a stash of kid-friendly books as well. Having the fire pit under the canopy of trees was wonderful. Brenda answered all of our questions right away and check-in couldn't have been easier. Overall a clean, well-maintained home that made for a great stay, perfect for a family, would absolutely rent again. Thank you!

This place was great in so many ways. Check in process was easy. I needed to ask the owner a question and she was most responsive and quick. The place was amazing with a screened in porch and even a fire pit. Everything was so clean. The beds were super comfortable. Great linen and great towels, quality tissues and toilet paper (I know sounds funny but many are cheap with the single ply) and so many little extras to make your stay feel warm and welcome including a great selection of Kerig cups for your beverage needs. There were even many spices and kitchen supplies to use These owners go above and beyond.

We loved the house and the property! If I could give more then 5 stars I would! We are frequent get away travelers and we can make a comparison with other properties were have been to. Let me tell you- we were NICELY surprised! The minute we walked in it felt like home! Everything was very neat and clean with little flower stations , blankets on the couches and even the wine cooler 😃�. Brenda , the host, was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed . She even left us a little note with nearby stores and facilities we might be interested in, It was very thoughtful 🙂�. The house was stock with everything you need , from soup to spices/ sugar/ delicious coffee , etc. The kitchen was loaded with literally everything and even more! . There were 8 of us and we all slept comfortably . The bedrooms were very nice and clean. You don’t even need any extra bedding . The community property was wonderful! Very well maintained, totally safe with very nice people living there. The lake is near by and it was great to take a walk there. We totally recommend this property and definitely looking forward to go back! Thank you , Brenda!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is updated from kitchen supplies to games & movies for the kids. The owners are very prompt with returning questions and would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away.

We enjoyed our stay very much at this lovely home. The home and furniture are very nice and the kids really appreciated the nice range of books, toys, and puzzles. The kitchen was fully equipped for any cooking or baking we wanted to do over the weekend, and the wine refrigerator and firepit were nice touches. We did happen to start the weekend on an unseasonably cold day but the house temperature was below 50 when we entered and took quite a while to warm up. The owner was very responsive and gracious so if you ask in advance or call with a problem, I'm sure she'll make arrangements for you.
