Enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is beautiful, quite and peaceful! The garden was a piece of heaven! The host were very friendly and helpful! 100% recommended!

Effortless.

The owner has made sure everything is perfect for a relaxing stay. Very clean and organised home with areas inside and out that are cosy and comfortable. A beautiful maintained garden and pet friendly walks in a close distance.

Shazza's Retreat is a little slice of perfection in a gorgeous area. The house is lovely, backing onto beautiful bushland. We spent most of our time out the back under the amazing pergola - breakfasting with the abundant birdlife, dining in the evening with (again) the sounds of the birds. We walked along the trails behind and near the house. Our dogs loved it too and in all it was perfection. This was our second visit and won't be our last. We were made to feel so welcome by the owner with a personalised message. Loved it!

Always a pleasure to stay at this property. Sussex Inlet is such a peaceful and relaxing place abs it never disappoints. The property is always clean and tidy with plenty of room and privacy ☀️

It was an excellent stay in a wonderful home which was dog friendly and very comfortable, in a great quiet location.

This place is absolutely perfect. If I could give it more stars I absolutely would. We were made to feel so welcome, and the house and garden are beautiful and spotless. Hate to leave, but we will absolutely be back again. Soon. Loved every minute, and everything about Shazzas Retreat xxxx

A lovely property in a secluded, quiet location. Our puppy and son really enjoyed exploring the beautiful garden.

We enjoyed our stay at Sharon's house which is in a quiet spot, with a lovely garden bordering on bush. The house is equipped with everything you need, including a selection of board games and DVDs. Beautiful Berrara beach is a 5 minute drive away. Communication with Sharon was great, and the check-in process very easy.

We loved staying at Shazza's retreat - it is a special space, quiet and peaceful with lovely garden space full of birds, bees, and amazing plant life. Would highly recommend a stay here - a short drive to Sussex or a lovely walk to the waters edge in the Bay.

We spent 3 nights here and it felt cosy and like a home away from home. We enjoyed a wine and played board games (that were provided) in front of the fireplace at night. Rusty our fur baby loved the backyard and spent most of his time exploring all the smells and listening to all the new sounds. We had a few birds come in to say hello also. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy.

Relaxing

We had a very relaxed and enjoyable long weekend at Sharon's Retreat. Her garden is picturesque, backing on to what looks like reserve, making a lovely location to read and enjoy a cuppa. Our dogs loved exploring and sniffing the garden, as well as sunbaking on the lawn. The house itself was clean and well stocked with everything you'd need. The nearby dog walking beaches were beautiful and clean. As vegans we had a bit of trouble getting a variety of food from local vendors, but there are many options in Milton which is only half an hour away. We had some trouble with the oven, so maybe some notes on how best to use it would be helpful (I suspect it was us rather than the oven). We were also surprised that the TV was a smart TV but there appeared to be no WiFi. While we had a beautiful stay, we did not feel comfortable leaving our large dogs in the yard when we werent there, the back fence was not quite high enough to prevent our dogs from being able to get over it, and one of the dogs next door was a bit grumpy so we were worried our dogs might dig at the fence. For better behaved or smaller dogs this is a perfect location though.

It was easy to book, the property is clean and comfortable. It is close to lakes and beaches, It ,most importantly, provides a secure haven for the dog. I recommend it

Always a relaxing time at Shazza’s and it never disappoints. Especially after all the terrible fires and devastation of the South Coast it was great to finally come back and visit and support the community 🦋�

My best friend gabby had a stroke/brain injury in April 2018 and was in hospital at the brain injury unit at Liverpool for nearly 12 months. I am now her full time carer and she does rehab therapy everyday so it was great to take her away for a weeks holiday to Sussex where she holidayed as a child. It was lovely and my nephews enjoyed themselves too.

Very impressed at level of cleanliness considering it is pet friendly accommodation. The gardens are gorgeous and we enjoyed having nature at our doorstep! The host had provided a very value-for-money stay in a great location, nearby beaches were gorgeous!

From the moment we arrived at Shazza's we felt like we were at home. The back deck was the perfect place to chill will a bucket of prawns and a few beers while listening to the birds in the surrounding bush

This retreat was exactly as shown in the photos - so clean, beautiful garden and surrounding porch, private and with lovely homely interior touches. Our puppy loved sniffing and exploring the grounds. Would stay here again.
