This was a fantastic visit to the lake. The property was clean and perfectly furnished/ decorated... the owner was available for questions and the dock was pristine... we rented a jet ski one day and we easily loaded and unloaded riders on the dock. We used the kayaks and paddle boads that were provided! We had fires and played board games in the evenings. Everything was absolutely perfect for a peaceful lake vacation!!! My children and I who are 14, 12 and 6 had the most amazing long weekend staying at this lovely home. It had everything we could have needed. The house was clean, well equipped kitchen, awesome floor plan. The memories can’t be beat. I cannot thank you enough and i would love to come back!!

This house was perfect for our multi age family. The kayaks and paddle board were a real hit with the teens and mat a huge hit with the little ones. The kitchen/living area was perfect. Huge..Room for puzzles on the floor, watching golf, cooking with the family and legos on the table. Room for all. We have been laying on Lanier for 50 years and this was the most pleasant and least crowded area and most beautiful. Zac is an amazing communicator and the trip was flawless. We will be back!

We had an amazing time relaxing amidst the gal foliage with beautiful views of the lake. Despite some chilly weather in the mornings, we still had an amazing time on the lake with the kayaks and paddle board, visiting an apple orchard, and hiking to see a nearby waterfall. I’d absolutely rent this property again!

The home was beautiful. We did a Chopped Challenge type event and it went beautifully. 3 different courses, 3 teams. I did bring all the necessary utensils and pans, but we wouldn’t have been able to do it without the beautiful double islands. We spent time on the dock and had a lovely night around the fire pit. The walk to the dock was invigorating on the way back, but it was worth it to enjoy the water. We had soooo much fun playing foosball. It was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful property! Very clean when we arrived and had absolutely everything we needed. Zac was quick to respond if we needed something. Very spacious and looking forward to staying again!

This beautifully decorated and well-stocked Lakehouse is the perfect private getaway for a couple or the whole family, and it’s just outside the city! I never thought I would find a place so calm, peaceful, and secluded on Lake Lanier! I always thought I had to travel to one of the smaller lakes 3 to 4 hours from home. But this is a wonderful find and we would definitely be coming back! The house was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely well stocked! I absolutely loved the mid century modern decor! We had everything that we needed. The listing is exactly as described. There are plenty of games for the kids, the cutest loft area with bunkbeds for them to sleep. The kids loves playing foosball up in the loft as well. The fire pit was fantastic with plenty of wood for us to use. We made s’mores every night! The access to the lake was right outside your door and we had as much fun playing and swimming off the dock as we did renting a boat and going out on the lake! The cabin’s three kayaks and paddle board provided hours of fun for both us and the kids. The kids loved being able to take out their own kayak. This part of the lake was absolutely perfect. It’s in its own private cove with plenty of space to JetSki or boat. The hustle and bustle of Lake Lanier is nowhere near you at this part of the lake. We rented a boat and were perfectly comfortable trying to teach the kids how to ski right in front of the house with no big boats to worry about! The owners left us the cutest welcome basket with a bottle of wine and a sweet card, and the house is well stocked with the basics in the kitchen. It was nice of them to supply some coffee as well! It seems like a small touch but I absolutely loved that all of the bathrooms had liquid hand soap dispensers. I always thought that that was something lacking in rentals that makes such a big difference. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back! Thank you!

Very nice house. Pretty clean. Excellent part of the lake and dock. Could use some spider webs knocked down. Maybe a little upgrade to the kitchen utensils and small appliances. Outsdie of that would definitely stay again.

My family chose to stay here for 3 nights during the week of the 4th of July. The accommodations were the perfect size for our family of five, plus my in-laws and three nieces stayed for a night as well. (The kids ranged in age from 9 - 20.) I loved all of the bed sizes; we never felt crowded in any of the rooms (which is hard sometimes with our family size) and the upstairs is as cute as it can be! I think it was my favorite area of the house. The location on the lake was also just what we were looking for - quiet enough for the kids to tube and paddle board easily. The dock was fabulous as well; loved the sitting area on the lower level and the lake toys they provided! The only (slightly) negative things I can think of is that the upstairs guests have to come downstairs to use the bathroom and there are not TVs in the downstairs bedrooms. (But, everyone has a phone or tablet, so it's really not an issue.) We would definitely stay here again; I highly recommend it and we had a wonderful time.

The pictures were a great representation of the property. We had a great stay and the kids loved the kayaks. We also had great communication with the owner.

Great place to stay for a relaxing getaway.

Everything about this booking was amazing! The house was perfect, the communication with the owners was quick and informative, and the location was superb. The lake house was not on the busy part of the lake so that made us feel more comfortable allowing our kids to swim in the lake. When the kids got tired of swimming and jumping from the dock (very rarely), they went upstairs to play the board games that were in the loft. My kids have requested to return every summer. I highly recommend this home and we are grateful to Zac for the opportunity to vaca there.

We loved our stay at Dock Holiday. The pictures do not do this property justice, as it is even better in person. Great place for young kids, as the loft and upstairs room are designed just for them. The kitchen is large and well-equipped for family meals with just about every appliance you need. The dock is new and clean, with all sorts of water activity gear included. Our kids loved the large water mat rental. The owner was very responsive for the couple of times when we needed to reach him, and the home was very clean and fresh. We definitely recommend staying here for families or smaller groups!

We throughly enjoyed our stay and weren’t ready to leave. We were blown away with the home and everything it has to offer. The host truly thought of everything you need and more. All the little touches didn’t go unnoticed. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch. We have stayed at multiple VRBO beach and lake houses and this has been our favorite. This was our first stay at Doc Holiday and it won’t be our last. We look forward to coming back!

This house is absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and beautifully updated. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and everyone was super happy. The kayaks were used quite a bit even though it was a little chilly. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place on Lake Lanier.

We loved staying at Dock Holiday. The home was perfect for our family reunion and New Years celebration. We were able to sleep 7 adults comfortably. The host pays attention to details and prepares a home away from home. Thank you for the welcome basket and the little touches. The home is supplied with everything including a keureg coffee maker and a crockpot. The home was extremely clean, in a quiet and private neighborhood. There is a dock with kayaks, we wish we could have used but the weather didn't cooperate. The location was perfect with supermarkets and dining within a short drive. As well as being just a little over an hour form Atlanta, Helen, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. We would definitely stay again and recommend as a perfect stay in the Gainseville area

Our stay at Dock Holiday was amazing. The home is clean, modern and spacious - exactly like it looks in the pictures. We had everything we needed, and everything was nice. The 2 story dock is incredible and looks brand new. Great for sunning, swimming and fishing.. We’re already talking about booking again for next summer!

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 8 & 10) stayed with a friend and her family (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 9 & 11), for a week in July. The house is clean and spacious and is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The house has everything you need for a stay, including all basic kitchen utensils and appliances. The dock and included lake "toys" (child kayak, adult kayak, and paddleboard) were wonderful. We spent quite a bit of time down there. The location of the house itself is very nice, in a quiet neighborhood and a nice quiet location on the lake. I would not hesitate to stay here again and will recommend to friends!

We really liked the welcome manual giving us all the info we needed regarding check in, groceries, and rules. The place was very clean which was important to us. Zac was a great communicator. We loved the set up of having the kids all in the bunk room upstairs while the adults had rooms downstairs. We used the water craft that came with the property a ton which was a nice perk.

Perfect place on Lake Lanier. North end of the lake, which keeps you away from all the heavy boat traffic. House was perfect for the 5 of us. Owners were great and communication was excellent.

We had a really enjoyable few days at the lake. A quiet neighborhood and low traffic part of the lake, a great dock, and a pleasant house.

Loved the water fun on Lake Lanier! The dock is awesome! Plenty of room in the house for ten of us but wish there was a bathroom upstairs and more trash bins. Zac was very accommodating. We hope to come back.
