Very nice condo, steps from the beach. We could run out there to catch the sunset. I loved the ground floor lanai too. There were lizards during the day, toads at night and huge snails when it rained. The kids loved it!

We cannot say enough good things about this rental experience. The accommodations were perfect and as advertised. Everything was super clean and fully operational. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in a Hawaii vacation. The overall property was fantastic as well. We cannot wait to return! Spent 15 days on property - which our family thoroughly enjoyed. Super close to the beach (as advertised) and a great overall resort with a lot of good family friendly activities, specifically the pool. The unit itself has a handful of small current issues which we reported that if fixed will make it tip top, namely a stove where no buttons are visible to operate and a broken lanai cover in the main room that prevented us from opening the unit to the outside. With those said,the property manager was responsive to these issues during our stay and I bet they will be fixed asap.

Loved everything.....just not happy with the hotel/resort it self ..the managing ppl of the restaurant and the Cabanas--AquaLani...

Great location.

This place was everything as advertised. I am always examining properties to see where we can stay for our next trip, & if we return to Maui, this condo is literally the best one! We used the patio door to walk in & out more than the main door. Grills were just around the corner. Such a quiet spot only right around the corner from the resort life & steps to two great restaurants, one at Duke’s & the other at the Westin next door. Our oldest son whited playing the ukelele that was in the room. The room was stocked with spices, dish & laundry detergent, trash bags, & even some condiments in the fridge. Those items really stood out to me compared to other places we’ve stayed. I tried to find last minute activities/tours that were close to the resort, but most near things were sold out, however tours that were about 40 minutes/ 1hour away were aplenty. Next time, I’ll get my tours booked sooner. Also, Duke’s restaurant on property said they are booked out weeks in advance, but welcome walkins. So we would go put our name on the list a good while (1.5 hr) before we wanted to eat dinner & they always accommodated us. Lovely stay!

The location and convenience of this property is unmatched. Having two smaller children, we were able to easily access the pool, beach, and a large grassy area in minimal time and returning to the room was so simple. It was quiet but close to the action. Will absolutely return!

The unit was just as described and was a perfect place for our family to enjoy a week’s vacation. The management company provided a high chair and portable crib for my grandson, which was very much appreciated. It was so nice to be able to walk out the unit in the back and be able to walk to the beach and along the boardwalk, and the views were fantastic from the patio.

So close to the beach from the patio and close to the pools from the front door! Beautiful kitchen. Great view! Great space for a family vacation. My grandchildren were so sad to leave their new “home”.

We’ve stayed at Honua Kai a few times but this is without a doubt one of the best located units and nicest units. In particular, it’s on ground level with grass right off the Lanai and a private path to the common grass and beach beyond, nice quiet views of the water, and it’s in sun all day and has sunset views. There is no better location. The condo was very nicely appointed - high end but not tacky, came with boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear but not cluttered etc. Clean, in good condition, and very comfortable. Also, we made our reservation before COVID and Barry, Stephen and the team were very fair about COVID accommodations and rebooking. They took care of a couple minor issues in the condo really quickly and we’re communicative, responsive and courteous. You won’t do better in Maui!

Overall a great experience. The property is located in a great spot and the unit was even better than expected. Being on the main floor gives such easy access to the beach and pool and I only count one unit that may have a better spot than this one in the entire property! I stayed with family and my kids and the unit had beach toys, chairs etc and even a pull out mat for my son to sleep on. Very thoughtful place and would absolutely stay again!

The condo was beautiful, well equipped and roomy. The location was fantastic, with an easy stroll to the beach and a wonderful patiio. We enjoyed our view every morning and evening. It was a quiet location . The management personnel were very responsive . We would definitely stay there again on a trip to Maui.

Excellent location and fabulous unit. Instant access to beach with out going thru main property. If you want to eat at Duke’s its no reservations just first come first served and is adjacent to the pool. This unit is the best of the best.

The condo was a perfect location on the ground floor. It is on the quiet side of the complex….away from the pool. Very close to the beach. The pictures and descriptions are all spot on - no surprises. We can’t wait to go back!

Our family of four had a fabulous time at this spacious retreat. Perfect location steps from beach on the quiet side of the complex. Beach walking path just outside our door and snorkeling right on our section of beach. We would definitely rent here again. Thanks.

The trip was one of a lifetime and everything was perfect. The condo was perfect and better than the listing. Ground level and walkout from lanai to beach, yet still private. It was awesome!!!

The location of this unit is the standout feature. It's the second closest unit to the ocean in the Hokulani building, on the quieter side of the building. It's close to the pool, but around the corner, facing the Westin. The ocean view is great to enjoy at all times of day. It's fully furnished with all the kitchen items you might need. We would put this unit at the top of our list when returning to Maui.

Overall great location and beautiful property. Unit was well-equipped with high end appliances and lots of cooking utensils.. Immaculately clean. Had three beach chairs, two body boards and other beach items.

This property is perfect! Beautiful interior, nice patio. Ground floor unit offers beach access from the porch, eliminating the need to go through the interior of the resort.

The entire experience was wonderful. A perfect home for three generations. Everyone had plenty of their own space and a nice outdoor area for the little ones.

This is a gorgeous and spacious condo that had everything we needed to have a fabulous vacation! We stayed for 10 days with my parents (both 79 years old, one that uses a wheelchair), my husband and I, and our 2 teenage boys. Upon check in, we realized they had not arranged the bed in one room to two twins and gave them a call. The property management guys were AMAZING and made arrangements right away for things to get fixed exactly as we needed it. They were very responsive and respectful of our time and schedule for everything. The kitchen has literally everything you need! Fabulous quality blender, Viking appliances, crock pot, dishes, and plenty of spices for cooking. There was also some cooking oil and flour and few other non-perishable items left behind from prior guests which made it easier for preparation without having to buy every single item. There were 4 beach chairs that we used every single day, one adult size boogie board and one kid size. Snorkel gear was there, but mostly kid size. Along with some kid size wet suit and floats. Some pool noodles too. The AC does turn off when the door opens to the lanai, so we had to remember to turn it back on often or it would get warm inside. The lanai is gorgeous and looks right on to ocean. It is a quieter side of the facility since it doesn't face the pool. That was nice for us and gave a little more privacy. Parking was easy. Directions to get to the facility were a little confusing and maps took us to a gated entrance that you need a key. It literally took us 3 days before we figured out that we could have turned at the light prior to that one (by where the Avis is) and go in an open entrance. lol. There are some food trucks by the gated entrance that were fabulous (poke bowls were amazing) and a good grocery store right across the street. If you can drive north to hike in to see the blowhole, do it. So cool. Kids jumped off Black Rock almost every day. Snorkeling was awesome. This place is FABULOUS!!!! FYI - if you have someone with special needs, you can rent equipment separately and they will deliver. We had to rent a shower bench and a couple of things for my mom in a wheelchair.

The property was better than expected. The condo was beautiful and very quiet. We never even heard anyone around us. It was like we were the only ones there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The owners gave us the contact of a grocery delivery service and all of the groceries we ordered were in our room and put away when we got there which saved us so much time and we could enjoy drinks and snacks as soon as we entered. It was a perfect place. We will be back!

The condo was so nice. Great location. Ground floor unit was great with lawn out front and just steps to the beach and pool. Would be perfect for families or couples. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and tv. Would highly recommend!

This 3 bedroom condo was plenty spacious for our group of 7, with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed coffee on the ground-floor patio and loved being steps from the beach and the many different pools.
