It was amazing. We splurged on this listing and I am so glad we did. It absolutely made our trip. Bring snorkel gear because the rock walls by the beach area are filled with ocean life. It is the most beautiful location. The washer/dryer was wonderful as we were constantly in and out of the water.

The listing does not do this property justice, it is much better in person. We had the best week and will be back! Everything was wonderful!

Away from it all. Very relaxing. A bit of a drive from the airport but definitely worth it.,

Incredible house with private beach
This place was incredible. Nice and quite with a private beach. We enjoyed the ocean and the beach area as well as the hammock. At night we were thrilled to discover that the property is right next to the bioluminescent bay. The house was great and even had an outdoor shower. We also enjoyed the individual AC unit that was in each room of the house. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We flew in for a week and absolutely loved this place. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet spot - this is it.

Everything we had hoped it would be! So many wonderful things to share I ran out of characters below
Fingertip was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I along with our 3 daughters stayed for a week over New Years Eve! Staying over New Years was a treat we were not expecting as we were entertained with beautiful fireworks for hours. Some local, but the majority were across the way at 7 mile beach. It was a spectacular sight to see fireworks exploding up and down the beach!!
As for Fingertip itself, truly amazing. The house was immaculate, the view breathtaking! As a previous reviewer stated the pictures do not do it justice. It is truly a little piece of paradise.
Snorkeling was absolutely amazing right out the back door! I spent each morning sipping coffee and each evening sipping a cocktail on the edge of one of the breakwater structures watching as fish of all colors and sizes swam all around! We saw lobsters, starfish, stingrays, pufferfish, anemones, sea urchin, and what we thought to be a lion fish!! My husband and I would often go out with our phones as flashlights after dark and would see an entirely different group of species! Our last morning at Fingertip as we were absorbing as much beauty as we could before having to say goodbye, a group of 6 bigger fish, what we thought to be wahoo or bonefish swam in and caused havoc looking for their breakfast! So cool to see!
Don't miss out on the stars in the Cayman! They were diamonds in the sky! We spent many evenings lounging in the comfy beach chairs and hammock enjoying music just looking up at the sky waiting for falling stars!
The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Frying pans have been well used and could be replaced, but other than that no complaints. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of linens available. Wifi was great to have with 3 tween/teen daughters when needing a break from the beach or a FaceTime fix with friends back home. The screened in patio is where we enjoyed all our meals, morning yoga, board games and more. The charcoal grill was awesome to have so don't forget to buy charcoal when grocery shopping.
Chloe, the house manager stopped by to check on us. She was delightful and very quick to answer any questions we had via text and resolve any problems we encountered. Only problem we had was one showers water pressure was quite limited. She offered a plumber to come over the next day. We opted to not have him come till we left as it wasn't a problem for our family to share a shower.
We loved the peace and quiet that Fingertip allowed our family

Private and Tropical
Our family has been going to Cayman for three years renting different homes along the way. This home is by far our favorite. We love the area where the the house is located as it is very tropical. It gives you the feeling that you are in a remote place while being steps away from Rum Point and Kaibo and at the mouth of the Bioluminescent Bay. Our family loves to kayak and we were able to kayak to all places mentioned above. The best part of the day was the sunset. It was as if the house was built so the sun would set directly in front of it! The white sand beach was big enough for our four boys to run and throw a football around while I relaxed on the hammock. The kitchen was stocked with everything to make big family breakfasts. The beds are very comfortable too! The lanai was one of our favorite parts of the house. After watching the sunset we would relax as a family listening to the waves. We met Chloe the house manager the last day. She came by to see how our stay was. We highly recommend this house!

My husband and I rented this home for a private get-away for his 50th birthday. The home and location could not have been more perfect. The privacy of the home was perfect for the relaxing vacation we were after. We barley left the hammock all week, finding it the perfect spot to relax, read, listen to music and watch the watercraft. The home contained everything we need and we bought groceries (including charcoal and lighter fluid to use on the grill) at the store in town. We ate at nearby Kaibo (both the beach restaurant and the upstairs dining and had coffee from the coffee house). We also rented jet skis at Kaibo and drove out to Sting Ray City. Next time I think we will rent a boat so we can spend more time there on that sandbar and also have our cooler, music, etc with us. A couple of kayaks would have been an awesome addition to our rental. We are planning to come back and bring my parents and our 9 year old sometime next year. The wifi and a/c worked great (two critical things in my book). You won't regret renting this home for a private, relaxing vacation.

We loved the fact that you are on a wonderful soft sand beach the moment you step foot outside. Comfortable home, comfortable beds. We had no issues with the house, and found the manager very friendly and welcoming. Called once to inquire about renting kayaks, quick response. I would be willing to pay a bit more a night if they ever included kayaks as rental is fairly expensive. However, being right at the entrance of the bioluminescence bay, you have the best of both worlds at your back door. The waters are calm, very inviting. We did discover that swimming through shallow grassy areas may not be the best idea...."sea lice." Microscopic ? jelly fish. Most of us were stung a little, but it was very minor and went away within the day. In the future, easy to avoid. (I just got caught up seeing the fish.) My husband had the time of his life enjoying the sunset, a drink, his music (we bright an iPone speaker) and grilling (they have a small charcoal grill.) We cooked our on meals and the kitchen had all our basic needs. You may want to bring baggies for food storage. (Not many plastic containers.) For first time guests, I advise renting a car large enough for your luggage and groceries. Once you land, get your groceries first, in town. (The drive is about 40-50 minutes from the airport. This will save you time. If you plan to grill, be sure to buy charcoal and lighter fluid. There are nice places to eat close, but it's not cheap. Cooking saves money. It's a great family vacation. We will definitely be back! One more thought, keep in mind that the grocery stores are closed on Sundays.

Wonderful Location! Very Private, lots of little fish along the rocks at the shore.

Stayed at FingerTip with 2 other couples first week February 2015. Home was very clean and well kept and we received a phone call from Chloe to make sure all was well. This was fine with us as we have visited G.C. before and rented several times through VRBO, information provided prior to arrival was more than ample.
The home had everything we needed, little disappointed as the ad stated mid week maid service which did not happen, when we asked Chloe stated that maid service was after we left? No big deal as we had access to washing machine and dryer for towels. We did ask for T.P. and were informed that was our responsibility? Overall the location was great, very clean, just felt like we were misled and find it odd that toilet paper was extra?

This well kept home is as nice as the pictures. For folks who like to be away from the hustle of 7 Mile Beach this location is ideal. It can be a long drive to Georgetown, but with restaurants at Kaibo, Lighthouse, and Morrit's nearby, you can spend a whole relaxing week without a lot of time behind the wheel. The property manager, Chloe, was on site to greet us when we arrived, and we received a warm Cayman welcome. Chloe helped us arrange a phone to make some necessary telephone calls and she made sure we had everything we needed.
It would be nice to have a kayak or two since that is a popular activity in this area. But other than that the house and visit were perfect.

Great week at Fingertip
Our family of four stayed at Fingertip for a week in March 2011. It was our first time renting a property online, but our leap of faith paid off. The property description and pictures do not oversell the property -- it really is as beautiful as described and the photos are very accurate. The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the private beach and view were exquisite. We loved Cayman Kai because it is off the beaten path and much quieter than Seven Mile Beach. The proximity to the Rum Point Club, with boat and snorkel rentals and places to eat, was great. It is a lovely beach club.

Very Enjoyable
We have stayed on this island before but this is by far our favorite little villa. It is like having our very own private beach area....and love the hammock. On second thought....maybe I should leave a negative review so I can be assured that it won't be booked when we want to stay.

Peace and quiet.
We spent a week here as a family in March of 2011. The beach is perfect! The house is unpretentious yet fully equipped. You are near enough Rum Point and Kaibo for fun, restaurants, and activities but in your own quiet world. We have stayed in many houses on the island, and I would rate this as my favorite. A few minor issues were dealt with quickly by the management.

A little piece of paradise!
We stayed at Fingertip in April 2011. There were 6 adults it was the perfect amount of space for all of us. Evenings playing cards in the very large screened porch and relaxing in each of our own bedrooms that were distant enought to feel like you were in your own villa. The favorite of our trip was our private beach we felt like no one else was around. We even did some evening snorkling right outside our door. All photos and descriptions were accurate on the listing. I strongly recommended a week at Fingertip!
