The house is beautiful and well stocked. We loved sitting by the fire and enjoying the view of the lake. Lisa was easy to communicate with.

Our 2nd year staying at Swan Lake. Very relaxing spot & the sandy beach area is perfect for swimming.

This was our second year vacationing in Swanville and it was like going home. The home and the lake are just the perfect setting for a relaxing time away. There is nothing like waking up to Swan Lake. Although there are some boats on the lake, it is quiet and allows for fantastic kayaking. You never feel as if it is crowded. The home is very well stocked and very well cared for. Thank you, Lisa and Bill, for another wonderfully memorable summer!

Great time

This is our second time staying at this property and it was a wonderful as before. Comfortable beds and amenities to make us feel right at home. Lake views were awesome too!

Our second time spending a summer week here, private beach, beautifully landscaped, tucked in a cozy spot on the lake. The new dock is beautiful, the kids love swimming to the float, and what beautiful shoreline to kayak. Lots of loons, great fishing, and a gorgeous home for rainy weather. We will be back ASAP!

Our family vacation at Swan Lake was perfect! We had perfect hot weather to enjoy the lake. Spent most of of our week relaxing on the lake, swimming, fishing & boating. The house was extremely clean & had everything you need. On a quiet dead end road, we saw three eagles & a family of loons on the lake. Short ride into beautiful Belfast & Camden.

A wonderful house to relax in by the lake. Very well furnished, clean and comfortable. Cannot describe the luxury of sitting outside and just looking at the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe as well as swimming in the cool,clean water. Often, there was no one out on the lake, just a bunch of loons sometimes calling , otherwise very quiet. Could have stayed all summer.

Super clean, well furnished house with beautiful yard and walk in beach. Perfect for adult families and two infants. Host (Lisa) was a joy to work with and ensured we had a pleasant stay. Everyone enjoyed themselves, even if the Maine weather didn't cooperate. Highly recommended!

To say the pictures do not do this lovely home justice is an understatement. It is the perfect vacation spot that is centrally located to everything Maine has to offer. The home is well-stocked, gorgeous, inside and out, as is incredible Swan Lake. Lisa is absolutely wonderful and communication was immediate. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay but cannot wait to return next year.

The surprise was that the home was more lovely than the pictures showed it to be. The little beach was perfect for the children, and the lake was great for a long swim every morning. The house is extremely well equipped including an outdoor lobster steamer that kept the mess outside. The waffel maker was the best we've ever seen! The wifi problems have been solved and our adult boys became kids again playing video games on the big screen in the 2nd living room. The owners were extremely responsive to our questions. In short, we loved our stay here.

Excellent time. Idyllic setting and tons of water sports fun

This was the perfect lake place to host our adult children and grandchildren. The house was spacious and tastefully decorated and the pictures don’t do it justice - we loved the family room and the bedrooms overlooking the water. The beach was great for the children and the lake views were beautiful. Our family loved the outdoor shower! Lisa was great to work with, and we appreciated her responsiveness and hospitality. Looking forward to staying again.

Low traffic lake, lots of aquatic wildlife, can’t get any closer to the waters edge. Home is spectacular with lots of great views and plenty of room. Yard is vast, water/beach is very safe for children. One of the cleanest lakes we’ve seen!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was great, including the tote with the lobster supplies.The only negative was that we didn’t like the idea of paying extra per person. That is usually assumed with a bigger house that there will be more guest. We would love to stay again though.Thank you.Derick

The house was so nice and you couldn’t beat the view! We had a few minor issues the first day or two but the owner sent someone right over to help! Our kids loved the float and so did we! Our week was so fun and relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!

Our entire stay was perfect. Lisa was very attentive to our requests and made it very personable. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene, gorgeous spot on Swan Lake.

The house, beach, lawn were as lovely as pictured. There are two sets of stairs down to beach, but there is also a steep drop off the lawn in the center that parents need to be aware of. We encountered several problems: the kayaks were not available until the last day and the beautiful TV and TV viewing room were not useable because the TV uses ROKU and streaming was not possible with the very weak Internet the entire week. We noticed that the owners have updated their listing information to acknowledge these issues. In checking out, we stripped all the beds as per the instruction book. Doing that created a communication problem because it appeared that we had more than four adults staying at the house. A call with Lisa resolved the problem. The owners are new at vacation rentals, and we hope that more experience will help clear up misunderstandings in the future. Lisa was very responsive to our many calls during the week we were there.

We had an amazing time celebrating our 28th Wedding Anniversary at this beautiful home on Swan Lake. The home was very spacious, perfectly clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The owners were great to work with and made sure our stay was top notch. It was a short drive to Bar Harbor and so many great little towns full of charm and character. We are already planning our next trip back!!!
