The boathouse is a lovely space in a beautiful location. It is comfortable, well equipped and attractive. Both the deck and jetty are very relaxing and peaceful.
Max and Kerry were incredibly generous and welcoming without being intrusive.
Avoca Beach is a lovely beach and a great little town with lots of friendly people

We enjoyed the comfort and quiet location of The Boathouse. It was well set up for the two of us and in a very pretty location close to the village shops. We were surprised that it was only a short walk to Avoca Beach.We enjoyed our stay and Max and Kerry were most helpful to us.

This little Boathouse was the perfect location for our families 60th + surprise wedding. Easy to find & very close to all the wonderful local shops. The Hi Tide Takeaway make the Best Ever Barra Wraps & Juices, Louise from Glamazon Beauty Excellent Massage & Danielle from Face On Beauty at Erina was totally amazing too.

We had a really nice relax stay at boathouse. The hosts are super lively, friendly and helpful. So happy that i've picked this place to have a nice quiet time on my BD. Quick walk to the town and beach, but still relaxed with N amazing view of the lake. Highly recommend.

We had a comfortable and peaceful weekend visit in this lovely spot with views across the garden to the Avoca lagoon. Kerry and Max were very welcoming hosts and easy to communicate with. Easy walking distance to local cafes and the beach.

Absolutely wonderful place
The place is as described. Great place to stay. Park you car and you don’t have to drive anywhere. Places to eat are very close. You have to try the patisserie right opposite. Very tasty. Beach is just a short stroll. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting by the water on the private wharf watching a large variety of birds. Kerry and Max were on hand if we needed anything. Will definitely stay there again.

Relaxing

We loved our stay at the boathouse. Our favourite part was setting off on our paddle boards right from the backyard. Great walking distance to local shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy Uber’s intoTerrigal. Max and Kerry were very welcoming. Will be back again!

Avoca Getaway
Our expectations were exceeded. The Boathouse is the perfect spot for two. Spotlessly clean, cute decor, wonderful deck to relax on as you gaze out through the trees to the lagoon. Max and Kerry very generous, welcoming hosts. A tree had fallen during a recent storm, blocking access to the jetty. We were informed of this prior to our arrival and offered early/late check in or another nights stay. It honestly didn’t affect our enjoyment of the accommodation or the surrounding area. We will be back another time to make use of the kayaks and jetty when repaired. Almost don’t want to share this gem but Kerry and Max deserve the favourable review.

Beautiful in every aspect
Everything from the property itself to the hosts to the neighbours was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back again one day soon. The place has everything you could possible need & if you’re tossing up whether to book this property, do it. A beautiful haven
The Boathouse is a beautiful, private property with amazing views. Max and Kerry are the most delightful hosts who have created a piece of paradise on the lake with a lovely fresh décor and everything provided for a very comfortable stay. The Boathouse is immaculately clean and is a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants and a great base for the exploring the area. We loved relaxing on the deck enjoying the view, birds and having time to soak it up and did not want to leave, but we will be back!

Boathouse total relaxation
Our stay at the Boathouse was fantastic, it was peaceful and had everything provided, much more than we expected, Max and Kerry were wonderful hosts. It is a short walk to the village and the beach. We will definitely stay again. We had a couple of wet days, but the heater kept us warm and there are lots of things to see and do around the area.

Perfect host for a great place in perfect location
Kerry and Max were perfect hosts. They were very accommodating with our needs. They provided great advice to where to go and restaurants to visit.
The boathouse was perfect! It had everything we needed plus more. We are going to miss spending quiet time, relaxing by sitting on the spacious boathouse deck, overlooking the water, sipping tea and eating fresh danish from the local bakery.

fabulous views
my husband and i were on a quick overnight stay in avoca and were pleasently surprised by the cleanliness and privacy of our accommodation complete with views from the deck of the lagoon. Kerry was very welcoming and we would highly recommend this as a place to book.
