We stayed with my extended family for a PSU football weekend. The home was very spacious and comfortable and well equipped.

House was great! Tons of room and very comfortable. We all love the kitchen space and the living room!

We stayed with a few couples for a football weekend. Plenty of space and great location. Pool area is fantastic - like a resort!

Paid for 4 nights/stayed 16 hrs. Listing fails to disclose that this home presents like a messy occupant lives here full-time.Choose wisely, we never would’ve rented.MASSIVE amount of personal items, no room for 10 guests’ food/belongings in this inhabited home. Bathrooms: hairy razors and open bottles FILL tub/shower space; open Q-tips, wipes, liquids/creams in all cabinets.Every bedroom/hall closets/drawers: shoved full of unorganized clothes/shoes, papers,toiletries,jewelry,etc.Kitchen:dirty Keurig;fridge door filled with used butter,sauces,oils,creams;freezer piled with items(including half-eaten cake); all cabinets with opened food/medicine.Dirty pool;large hazardous pile of chemicals/dirty toys/hoses/debris. Called Host Lisa,who frantically arrived and SCREAMED at us(6 kids present)for having concerns and for interrupting her swimming/dinner. She shoveled freezer items into a bag, took razors,stormed out. Messaged saying she’d give a $50 refund for the hairy razors(never did)and clean the pool the next day.Ignored other issues.We left at morning light.Lisa later sent pics of: 1. A room corner, accusing us of moving furniture and trying to con us out of $100; 2.Towels on hooks, but alleging towels were left on floor; 3.Bath cabinets, calling them “ransacked”(exactly the way we found them-and every other cabinet upon arrival-and why we sent pics of such to VRBO immediately.) VRBO reviewed and refunded us their profit plus partial refund. Lisa refused to refund her profit.

This property has a beautiful backyard and a large deck to enjoy it. The kitchen welcomes gatherings. This VRBO host is very accomodating and at communication.

Perfect location to spend time with family. The large kitchen and the great dining room/game table was perfect for our weekend.

Please BEWARE! I have been a member of VRBO since 2016 and never had a bad experience until now. I thought about booking this property to bring in the New Year with my family, my cousin's family, and two other families that are close friends. Upon requesting to book the host strongly reiterated "no parties". We weren't planning to have a party, but it was New Years Eve and we were getting together with friends and family to bring in the New Year. We weren't planning to throw a party but then again I didn't know her definition of a party. I saw in the properties prior reviews that she had problems with her neighbors and that other people had bad experiences. I immediately asked the Host NOT TO ACCEPT MY REQUEST as I was reconsidering the property. I wanted to bring in the New Year on a great note not have problems. I started looking around the VRBO app to cancel my request and the Host accepted my request thereby charging my credit card. My exact words were "I really don't want to take the chance, please deny the reservation". I was flabbergasted. I asked her to cancel and she said she wouldn't cancel because she would get penalized from VRBO for canceling. I couldn't cancel without losing the entire cost of the trip because she has a 60 day cancelation policy, but I still had hope. She had said she wouldn't cancel because she didn't want to get penalized by VRBO, so if I could call VRBO and find a way for her to cancel without penalty then she should do it. I called VRBO, explained my situation, gave the person helping me permission to read out exchanges, and he strongly agreed with me. He found a way for VRBO to allow the cancelation without the host getting penalized based on the chat between the host and I. I was relieved. He called the host, explained to her that he arranged a way that she wouldn't get penalized - and she refused to cancel! After 1.5 hours on the phone the VRBO representative told me in not so many words that even though he completely agreed with me that he could not reverse the reservation. It only gets worse from here. After telling the host how dissatisfied I was and that I only wanted to bring in the New Year on a good note it only got worse. She stated she no longer trusted my group for self check-in and would have to meet us at the house and videotape us checking in. I found that really absurd. I have 6 years of good ratings on VRBO. I'm out of space for the review but the story gets worse

Convenient location, great kitchen

Property is in a beautiful, quiet section of town about 15 minutes from the stadium. House is spacious with plenty of room - great for a group. Appliances are updated and everything is very clean. Host is great with quick responses to questions. Would definitely rent again...thanks!

The Robin's Nest was an awesome place for 14 of us to enjoy PSU. We had ages 5 to 70. There was plenty of room inside and outside of the house. The host was available for any of our concerns.

Our family enjoyed the weekend at Robin's Nest! We celebrated 2 birthdays and the PSU Cheer Family Weekend (we have a freshman cheerleader). Our group included 2 sets of grandparents and adult children. The home was large with plenty of bedrooms for everyone! Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the charming details of the mid century modern home. Thank you for hosting us!

I could go on and on about spacious rooms inside the house, but it is the back of the house that makes this rental wonderful. Two levels of porches! Very large pool! Huge fenced in backyard! Even the less outdoorsy of our group LOVED the outside areas. We will be back!

Great stay for soccer moms with our girls! House has great character & charm. We loved the layout, how clean the house is, amazing yard with total privacy! We will stay again when we come back for PSU visits. Approximately 17 minutes to the stadium!

Everything was great from the rooms to the backyard and pool . We had a family get together with 9 adults and 1 child staying in the house and everyone had their own spaces and places to relax. We are starting to plan for another stay next year.

This was my family’s 4th visit and we enjoyed it, as always. We look forward to our visits, getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and enjoying the beautiful, quiet, backyard and the huge pool. We will be back!

Great location for our family to gather while also being close to my cousins wedding. We had a great time utilizing the porch and pool.

The home on this property is beautiful & perfect for my family. Plenty of space for the children to play outside & enjoy the pool. The gardens are lovely and add to the peacefulness of the surroundings. The location is easily accessible to I-99 I-80. Both Bellefonte & State College are a short drive away. We would enjoy staying here again!

Happy to have found Robin’s Nest available for PSU graduation weekend. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoyed the cozy living spaces to catch up and wind down after the celebrations. Wish we had more time to explore Bellefonte!

This location was amazing very close to all the venues for our basketball tournament, and the house was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!!!!

The Robins Nest is the perfect place to stay with friends & family for a Penn State game! The house is spacious enough that everyone has their own privacy, but cozy enough to sit around & spend time together.

Large and unique home. Great location for visiting Penn State. Beautiful neighborhood.

This was our 3rd time staying at this property. Coming from a small apartment in the city, this place is heaven. The house is spacious and comfortable and the pool is huge and so refreshing. We’ll be back!

Clean, Spacious, GREAT YARD!!

This property is tucked into a very quiet corner of Bellefonte, about 15 min from PSU and 3 min from the historic town center. Great family house, they have everything you could ever need! Very well kept. Great stay all around.

We had a lovely time at Robins Nest for our family gathering. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out together, or separately, have fun in the pool or relax outside. You do have to be careful about noise as sound carries very easily but Lisa warned us about this beforehand so we were prepared for this limitation. The area has great activities, hiking, boating, etc. Lisa was very responsive and accommodating.

This was our second stay at Robin's Nest this summer and we had a blast again. Beautiful backyard, beautiful home!

This home is spacious and has a wonderful kitchen, conducive to cooking meals while still being able to talk to family and friends . The pool area is ok although many leaves always accumulate on the pool especially at the very bottom. Please stay away from this house if you want to go there to have a great time. The neighbors will harass about noise and/or music even during the day. It seems the neighborhood is not happy with this place being rented out and it shows. The owner at first was very nice and then turned out to be a very shady person and even tried to unjustly stay with my damage deposit. Lastly, the lower level of the house gets very warm there is no air conditioning and the house overall needs updating as it is dated.

The backyard is even nicer than it looks. The pool is huge and so is the yard. I was particularly happy to see that the entire yard is fenced even though it doesn't show in the photos. We brought our dog and he had a blast running around the yard.

We loved the property. The kitchen and pool was great. The pool wasn't heated but it didn't matter to the kids. Everything was pretty clean, 1 room smelt of dogs downstairs, but we just closed the door and left it. We will definitely rent again.

Very enjoyable weekend with plenty of space inside and out, especially the kitchen. Host was easy to work with - very accommodating and prompt responses.
