This cottage was the best place we ever stayed at. It was quiet, close to the beach and a good distance from the Pier. My husband and I had a very fun weekend since having a baby and was a nice place to reset. Very very clean and cute layout! I would definitely come back!

The house was perfect for us. So clean, stocked well with dishes, towels, sheets and blankets. Comfortable furniture with plenty of places to sleep. Close to the beach. We had a super time. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. Everything neat, and clean. Well appointed, and everything worked. 1/2 mile walk to the beach Close to Strand, Moody Gardens and Seawolf Park. Perfect house for our vacation

This is a really nice cottage in an excellent neighborhood. We stayed for four nights but would have enjoyed staying longer. It's an easy walk to the beach, and just a few minute's drive from all Galveston has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is as-advertised, amply stocked for our stay. 1 residential block’s walk to the beach was perfect for us. Outdoor rinse platform was so handy & helpful. Much more space than nearby condos offer. Will look for this listing again!

Perfect spot if you’re looking for a quiet beach stay. This house is walking distance to a nice, secluded beach on the west end of the island with about a 20 minute drive to popular destinations during peak time. Bedrooms are small, but the family spaces are ample.

The house was amazing!!! Great location and all the appliances worked well. It was well stocked so we didn't need anything. And quiet when we went to sleep. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was amazing! Was very satisfied with the house and our stay. Was a pleasant walk to the beach…just make sure to bring bug spray! Overall very happy with everything.

From the patio, the beach view is so pretty! Everything was very clean. The beds and pillows were so nice after a day of beach! The kitchen was well stocked with things needed to cook. The appliances are all in great working condition and clean as well. We are a family of five and it was the right size for sure. It is so nice to have a washer and dryer as well as a place to rinse off extra sand.

Very small quaint place. Was big enough for 2 people and maybe small kids. Had everything we needed except not enough plug ins in bedroom. Also did not have enough hot water for 2 consecutive showers. Was a very quiet neighborhood and half a block to beach which we walked.
Overall was a nice, affordable place.

This house had everything we needed and it was so clean and comfortable. We were visiting our children and grandchildren and it was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and it was so close to the beach! Neighborhood was really quiet too!

I'm fairly mew to VRBO. When looking for a quick getaway before my kids go back to school, I found this cute home by the beach. The space was comfortable, and clean. The host had a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and plenty of towels and extra linens. The bedrooms are small but being within walking distance to the beach made up for it. I realize many renters are trying to arrange check in and out times in a similar fashion to hotels but a 4pm check-in is very late. 10am checkout was doable but a little more time wouldn't hurt.

Super Cold Air Conditioning and like the Tardis in the Dr. Who tv show it is somehow bigger inside than it looks from the outside! One small very minor issue was they were missing some supplies we expected e.g. no toilet paper, dish soap, and paper towels.

Kid's comments: no cartoon channels. The elevation was a fluke and there was a dead June bug in a drawer.
The proximity to the beach is amazing!!! Great neighborhood.

Overall we had a great stay. The only real complaint is the mattress on the sofa bed is dirty, we didn’t want to use it. A warning about one thing...after you enter the house there is a slight step up to enter the living room area. My wife was carrying some things in and didn’t see it. The result is she tripped and fell...HARD. She’s been in a lot of pain since so it did put a damper on the trip. Just be careful when you enter, especially the first time.

Nice cozy place
We really enjoyed our stay, it fit our small family perfectly and was a short walk to the beach. The only things I would have liked were 1. a liquid measuring cup in the kitchen, and 2. an outdoor hose or spigot so that we could wash the sand off our feet when we came back from the beach, it was impossible not to track sand inside the house without a way to wash our feet off. thank you!

We came for our son’s birthday and we could not have been happier with the house. It was extremely clean, comfortable and full of light.It is a very short walk to a quiet beach and we even got to see the sunrise on his birthday. We would definitely stay here again.
