My family decided to stay at this house for the thanksgiving weekend and the location could not have been better! Overall was a nice getaway. A few hiccups along the way but it did not overshine our overall experience... we had a bit of a hard time finding the house due to recent street & house number changes that were not clearly communicated. We were also lucky in that we had 1 family member in the area who was able to bring towel/linens. Also, if you're a light sleeper, please bring earplugs! The house was quite noisy when the wind picked up.

This home is very nice to stay at. And it is in a good location. We appreciate the responsive and helpful communications with the homeowners. A great place for my group of friends.

Our group of women friends from around the east coast and Midwest meet at a different location each fall. Lewes was convenient for many of the group. The house met our requirements for # beds and an elevator. The kitchen was well appointed as described and there were many more spices and condiments than expected. Plenty of games and things to support family activities. Beach access was great and plenty of places for walks. Walk into town was quick sn there were great shops and restaurants. We had two issues. 1. The televisions were not “smart”. We ate dinner in two of the three nights and did a early dinner out the third and really wanted to watch movies each evening using our personal streaming services. Given the cost of TVs. The TVs should have supported streaming. Also several people wanted to mirror their phone for a yoga class and could not do that 2. Having to rent towels and linens is very inconvenient for people traveling by air. Understand that seems to be the rule for VRBO properties in the area but we probably world not choose to rent there again. Renting linens, etc is expensive and not readily available off season While not a show stopper, the bedding looked like it had been well used during the season and the washer and dryer and other non kitchen appliances are starting to show the effects of the salt air!! Time for some updates!!

This was a great house for us to spend a long weekend with our kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for us to be together for games, crafts and tv watching, but also enough space to spread out and have some quiet time, too. The house was clean, well decorated and stocked with everything we needed. The views were beautiful, and although it was too cool to swim, the children had fun playing on the beach. AND…you can walk to DQ! (The highlight of one 4 year old’s trip!) Would definitely recommend.

This was the charming, comfy, well-located place we had hoped for. The rooms were spacious, kitchen well-fitted for cooking, elevator great for hauling luggage and supplies up. Had we had kids we would've appreciated all the gear in the garage. We enjoyed the location-- easy walking into town and around the neighborhoods, and conveniently located for catching the ferry to Cape May.

Our second year doing our girls trip at this house and it was a lovely as the first! Christopher is super responsive and friendly. Anyone looking for a relaxing home to stay in.... look no further. Thank you!

Property is in a wonderful beachfront location and convenient to lewes downtown area. Home was exactly as pictured and owners are great communicators. Would recommend staying here.

We all arrived on the 1st day, unpacked & settled in. We watched our 1st beautiful sunset on our lovely spacious balcony. In the coming week some of us hiked, some rode bikes on Cape Henlopen National Park, & we all enjoyed our beach right outside our front door. We shopped in the town & enjoyed some of the great restaurants, some within walking distance of our beach house. We had a marvelous week & hope to stay here again next year. Thank you very much.

Plenty of room for our family of ten. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make meals. House was very clean and in a great location for the beach. Lovely large deck for watching the sunrise and sunset. We had a great time.

Great home for 8 people, Bayfront, walking distance to charming downtown, biking distance to Cape Henlopen Park. Very clean and comfortable! Hope to return!

Property was great, had everything we needed. Also extra stuff for kids which was nice.

The purpose of our stay was for the wedding of my stepdaughter. The venue was only 20 minutes away. This gave us the opportunity to have our close family stay together and celebrate this new chapter. We are from Delaware and decided to stay until Monday and take advantage of our surf tag as well. Great location and the home is just so beautiful.

We returned this year and had another great experience. Nice house, clean, great location. Looking forward to going back in the future!

This was a great spot for a few day spring break getaway with a couple families. Plenty of space for everyone and a nice walk into town. The view from the living room is fantastic! We stayed there off season so the parking lot was mostly empty and it was easy to go back and forth to the beach. Everything was clean and as described - highly recommend!

My friends and I booked this house for a long St. Pattys Day weekend and it was a great experience. The house was cleaned upon arrival and the check in process was seamless. It is walking distance to 2 local bars and several amazing restaurants.

We all loved this property. The kitchen, dining and living area is an open design and perfect for a large group or family. There were 7 of us so plenty of room to spread out if you needed a few minutes to yourself. Kitchen is well stocked, location is perfect. Great view and short walk to the town for meals or shopping.

Stunning home on the beach ! Everything you need ! The owner quick to respond to questions. 10 of us visited in February for the Polar Bear Plunge and we all hope to come back .

Loved our time spent there. During the day groups could go into the town or walk the paths in the parks. In the evenings we could all be together in one large room. The baths were really one of the very best features as was the perfect site on the beach!. Two things kept me from giving the property five stars---one-I thought we were going to be able to use the fireplace during our stay but there were no instructions. Our entire family knows how to use a fireplace and all safety rules as we owned a masonry business for over 50 years and my husband built many, many fireplaces and naturally we always had them in our homes. The switch didn't turn it on and my husband checked the gas which was turned off. He wanted to turn it on but I felt that if you did not have specific instructions for renters that you did not want it on. Knowing the dangers of a gas fireplace I assumed it is too great a liability for you to allow renters to use it--especially without instructions. The second reason is that when we arrived and entered the garage there was a very strong garbage smell. All of the trash bins were full. After reading over the rules and instructions on the refrigerator, we felt we understood why. The instructions talk about the trash bins being taken out on specific days during the summer months but did not address the "year " This should be addressed--we took all our trash bags home (7 bags) and placed in our bins as we questioned placing the bins outside with the heavy winds when you did not specify pickup schedule. We moved to DE recently and live in Bridgeville which is not as windy as the beach but is windy enough that we all work together to pull neighbor bins up tight to their house when bins are empty as they wind up in the street. These are NOT big issues--I only addressed them so you can know the issues. We had a wonderful time and would return in a heartbeat. I had a lovely 80th Birthday! Blessings

Nice spot for a winter getaway right on the beach, near the state park, and walking distance to the restaurants in town. Everything was clean and functional. Would recommend.

The property was lovely. There were a few things we did contact the property manager/owner about that were quickly responded to. Nothing that needed immediate fixes, just a few maintenance items we thought they should know about.

I and my group of friends found this house to be nicely furnished, clean, well stocked and in a good location. Chris was responsive to any questions I had. Overall, a great experience.

This was our first time going to Lewes Beach and it was great! We were a lot closer to the beach than expected and that made it so easy for the little ones. The beach was a lot of fun and pretty calm. There was also a few sandbars and the kids really loved those. The house was very clean and we could tell they had someone come to clean it. There was a lot to do in the area as well. And the owners were very response friendly. We will definitely bring our family back.

My girlfriends and I have gone to Wildwood every year for the last 10 or 12 years for a long weekend. This year we decided to make a change. We found and booked this house and it was the best decision we could have made. The location is perfect, as was the house. We loved it so much that we booked it again before we checked out.
