The 6 of us enjoyed staying at the house, it was spacious and comfortable with a great view and convenient location.

Our stay was a great experience. We were in town for a family reunion and this house was great for our needs. We enjoyed being so close to the water and seeing the freighters. The only drawback is that there is no AC, which is disclosed in the listing. It was pretty hot during the day even with the windows open, but we were rarely at the house during the day and it stayed relatively cool at night with the windows open and fans going. Thank you so much for opening your property to us and being so accommodating.

We did a family staycation for the 4th! The house was amazing. Lots of room with a gorgeous view of the water. My special needs daughter and I enjoyed sitting on the dock and watch all the boats go by. The boys loved boating and fishing. The house was well stocked. The host was pleasant and very easy to communicate with. Overall we would definitely go back for another visit!!!

Extremly nice. There was plenty of room. The rooms and beds were comfortable, and scenery gorgeous. We had to travel to Herson Island a few times and it was really convenient and well run

This was a wonderful property. One bedroom on the main floor with the. kitchen and dining. 3 more bedrooms upstairs with a large living area. Beautiful deck, fire pit, gas grill. Located such that you can walk to the state park and to the art fair. We have already booked for next year!

The place was great and Matt was a great host. He really helped us out at the last minute and even gave us some great pointers on fishing. Highly recommended!

Our stay was overall good! The communication was great and the owner was very responsive! The area and house are really charming and there was lots of outside space to gather. The weather was extremely warm and humid and the house does not have air conditioning, but there was an attic fan, and other stand up fans that helped, along with the cool winds off of the water at night so it was comfortable for sleeping.

We came up to spend time with family, get in some boating and watch the offshore races in St. Clair. Great weekend and we’ll be back.

Fishing and Ships
My family loved this property. Being right on the river was very nice and had such great views. We could see ships passing all day and night. Fishing on the river was also good and we ventured out into Lake St. Clair, which was great! Matt is a very good host and communicated with us in a timely fashion. He even gave us fishing spots! We definitely would come back to this VRBO.

Algonac stay
Everything worked out wonderfully for our family get together. The river views were stunning. The large grassy yard was great for games and sitting around the fire pit. Great accommodations!

Couldn’t be any closer to the water!
My friends and I had a great Momcation at this house. It is directly on the water and has beautiful views from most rooms. Plenty of space, clean, great area for walking, and the water was refreshing. We enjoyed watching the freighters go by and relaxed in the water with our tubes and SUP boards tied to the ladder. The games and fishing poles were a nice touch! Thank you!

Wonderful house on the river
This house is amazing. It has 4 bedrooms but could accommodate more because there are two roll away cots and couches. All necessities are supplied. Plus fun things are also supplied…fishing poles, games, books, fire pit and wood, WiFi, direct TV, etc. Stores (Kroger, Dairy Queen, etc) are all close by. The view of the St Clair River is amazing. Sit out back and watch the freighters and boats go by or fish from your deck chair. There’s a ladder so you can easily swim in the river but be careful of the current. We will definitely rent this property again.

Great home and location
Great experience at this home. Beautiful setting, tons of room, everything we needed was provided. We blew a fuse charging a couple boat but Matt the owner was there in 5 minutes to assist. He was very helpful and a great communicator. Location was also near restaurants and stores. We will definitely be back.

This property was great for our family to come together. There was no direct access to the lake from the house but for us it didn't matter because it was so peaceful.

We caught about 30 fish off of the back porch! The rustic fill was awesome! When I had any questions Matt responded right away.

Beautiful Property
The property's location is beautiful, literally right on the water. Plenty of yard to play in. The house itself was immaculate. Nice upstairs with great views. One of the best rentals we've had.

Relieving Stress, and enjoying family.
Our overall experience was wonderful. We not only could enjoy the various scenery of boats , but was able to capture pictures of individuals jet sking, and other water activities which was awesome. The owner was more then accomadting, very hospitable, and the home itself was nice, and the surroundings very quiet. It was a great place to relax, and enjoy the earth, and family. I would recommend to other family members , and friends. Thanks for a wonderful get away.

Awesome
Very cozy!!! We all had a great time, beautiful weather allowed us to enjoy swimming, bonfire and just the coziness of the area. We all would definitely stay here again!!!

Matt was wonderful to work with, easy going and responsive. Property location was perfect, you can’t get closer to water unless you’re swimming. No AC is definitely a drawback but the breeze off the water cooled things down at night.

Nice river house
Clean. Nice location. Bring a fan in the summer because no AC. River is beautiful and I recommend bringing a fishing pole to catch some perch and sunfish.

My family and I enjoyed the experience. Being on the river was a real plus for us.
We enjoyed everything about the vacation. The lodging, the amenities, the community, the boardwalk etc.
It is a keeper and I am sure we will do it again. What we did not get a chance to do was to take the ferry to one of the islands.

Peaceful place to gather

Beautiful.
This was a great place. We have stayed extensively at multiple VRBO properties throughout out the last 7 or so years and this was one of the best. Matt is very attentive even when dealing with things that where unexpected on his end.
