The location is very central and is reasonably quiet. It’s lovely hearing the bells from the nearby church first thing in the morning. You are situated close enough to a Spar shop to pick up essentials and a stones throw away from a good selection on restaurants. The apartment is attractive, the shower is great, and Alex is a fantastic host :)

The bed could do with proper pillows, it has sort of cushions on it. It could do with some sort of table top oven, you can only cook on the hob or microwave.

lots of nice touches eg iron,sun parasol to use , the air conditioning was extremely good in the 35/40 degree heatwave. Quiet location.

Very modern and quirky. The air conditioning was fab and shower great. Lots of fresh towels and plenty of sockets etc. Alexandra was prompt in answering any questions we had.

The access was a little dark at night so used torch on phone to light the stairs.

It has beautiful place and the are is also good to stay for short time.

It has lots of stairs so if you have a big luggage you would not be happy with that.

The studio apartment (not a one bedroom apartment as this site claims) is situated on the third floor of an ancient building smack in the heart of the Citadel. Fantastic location with good restaurants nearby; covered secure parking two minutes walk away; boulangerie about the same; five minute walk down to the old harbour; 10 or so minute walk into the center of Bastia. The apartment is a good size, with well thought out fittings and furnishings and nicely finished throughout. Comfortable bed; good water pressure; nice bathroom. It is very quiet despite its location as it is in a pedestrianized area. Be aware that it is on the third floor and there is no lift/elevator: the stairs are narrow so carrying a large/heavy suitcase might be challenging. Worth the effort, though.

No criticism of anything
