The flat was immaculate, with up to date small appliances, fully stocked. It is located within 20 min walk to all the major sights. Trust me, you don’t want to be in a vehicle in the Athens traffic. There are coffee shops and a nice market just across the street. We feel very safe in the building and around the neighborhood. The host was exceptionally responsive with information. I have used VRBO since the mid 1980’s and this is the best flat and host thus far. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

My husband and stayed 3 nights at the end of our vacation. The apartment was well located, easy 15 minute walk to the acropolis site, museum and Plaka neighborhood. Streets felt safe and secure while walking. Apartment was easy to access, and secure, clean and modern. It was well stocked for all we needed, kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast and snacks, and we used the clothes washer and drying rack. Apartment was very roomy, with a great set up if you had children or other people staying with you, it would work well. Communication with host was excellent, clear self check in, he arranged a driver to/ from airport for us, and provided recommendations for our Beach Day (where to go and how to get there), as well as local restaurants. Location was good to explore the city. I would stay here again, and would recommend to others.

John left very detailed instructions with photos which made it very easy to find and get into the VRBO. When we arrived it was exceptionally clean and had a lot of nice little details inside. It was equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Our kids arrived to Athens later than us and John arranged for a honest Trustworthy friend to pick them up from the airport, which definitely helped to alleviate our stress. The apartment was close enough to the attractions like the Acropolis and Parthenon but far enough away that you did not have the noise from the Plaka. We all slept great as the neighborhood was quiet and there are darkening shades on the windows. John’s place was everything we had hoped for and John was really the best host ever. He would answer all questions quickly and help you with anything you needed. We would definitely stay here again if we ever head back to Athens.

We spent a week at John’s beautiful apartment. It had every amenity a person would want and more. We stayed busy seeing Athens most days but always looked forward to coming back to the apartment for a good night’s rest. We made dinner a few nights, did some laundry and explored the neighborhood surrounding the apartment. We could easily walk to most sites in Athens and used the nearby metro stop to reach places further away. John is a very helpful host who responds quickly to your messages. We highly recommend this luxury apartment.

The condo was very comfortable and in a great location where you could walk to quite a lot. John is amazing and attentive to anything you need.

We stayed here, as a family of 4, on our recent vacation to Athens. Apartment is exactly as described and pictured. There’s a kids playground directly across the street and a grocery store less than a block away. With the kids (3 and 4), the walk to the Acropolis museum and other attractions in/near the plaka area was about 20 minutes and we could easily get an Uber within minutes from outside the apartment. It’s a beautifully upgraded apartment and the host is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying at this apartment and also highly recommend the taxi service that he can arrange for transportation to and from the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The apartment is modern and well equipped and is in a great location. John was vey accommodating of our requests, letting us check in later and arranging for a ride to and from the airport. Overall it was a great experience, we enjoyed staying in the property, how close it was to major sights and ease of getting there.

We really enjoyed the apartment, had everything we needed. Very modern and clean, close to center and Acropolis. The host organized taxi pick up and drop off to the airport, which was really helpful. Apartment is in a quiet residential area, so was truly authentic experience. Little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine was a nice feature as well.

The place was clean, beautiful, and an excellent location. And Ioannis was very helpful; he helped arrange transportation.

Everything was great except for directions to the apartment once inside the building. The directions said to go up the elevator and then go up the stairs. You only needed to go up the elevator to the next level and the apartment is straight ahead of you when you turn right out of the elevator. Also, the elevator is extremely small.

House and location were gorgeous!!

The apartments was very spacious, very modern, located near wonderful restaurants, and the air conditioning work extremely well. Yes, book here.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was amazing and the location was perfect. Grocery stores, coffee, and restaurants within walking distance. My one warning is that we left our friend to go out to dinner while she was still taking a nap and when she was ready to meet us, we realized she couldn’t get out of the apartment! We had the keys and there was no way to unlock to door from the inside and no fire escape.

This property is Olin a perfect location for Athens. We enjoyed the local community.

The apartment was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 17 year old son. The size was plenty for us to all spread out after the flight over. Everything was so efficiently laid out and more than enough amenities were provided. The AC came in handy as it was 100°+ every day we were there. Great food and transportation nearby. We had a wonderful time in John’s apartment. It is exactly as in the pictures. Very modern, functional, in a safe neighborhood, close to everything. The whole stay went very smoothly, we were provided with detailed information about the property, the surrounding areas, the historic sites, and nearby restaurants. John also arrested a taxi for us from and to the airport with a really great driver. Highly recommended!

We returned back to the apartment during the final portion of our vacation. The location was even better once we explored the neighborhood!!!! Friendly neighbors, grocery store, great restaurants, and more.

We loved our stay there! It was exactly as pictured, and the host was extremely helpful with everything we needed! They even left us some goodies in the fridge, and in the kitchen, which were such a nice surprise. The area was really nice and walking distance to everything. The kids had their own area to rest after a long day, and a little balcony was just perfect for a glass of wine as well. We were only there for two nights, but we are already talking about when we go back we want to definitely stay in this place again. Thank you for making everything extra special for the ending of our trip!

John was extremely communicative and helpful in setting things up for us. He arranged for a taxi to pick up our family at the airport. He gave us directions to get the metro and the train to Kalabaka. His apartment is as advertised- very clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs and two night stay in Athens. The area is safe and close to the Acropolis. FYI- If anybody is going to the Acropolis for the first time- I would highly recommend waiting until the afternoon. Get your tickets for the 7 different locations (30 Euros to hit all seven places). Go to the other locations first. None are as impressive or as crowded as the Acropolis. Wait until the late afternoon (4:00 pm) to go to the Acropolis. There will be no lines, and you will not have to bake in the morning or early afternoon sun. Also, take the short hike across the street from the Acropolis- can’t remember the name of the mt. Hike to the top of the Mt- it is free, it is a short hike, and you will have some of the best views of the Acropolis and the entire city.

This property was amazing. It's exactly what is in the pictures. John's communication was excellent all the way to check out. He even arranged transportation to and from the airport. Which I highly recommend after a 15 hour flight. It's safe and secure. There is a grocery store within a half a block. The location was great to all metro stations as well as walking distances to all major attractions. The washer came in handy. We were able to wash our clothes before we left. I would stay here again, no problem. This place is a five star VRBO, and John's efforts prove it.

We only stayed fir two nights at John’s but it could not have been better. The apartment is EXACTLY as pictured and John was there to meet us. What a pleasant, wonderful man. We had arranged transportation from cruise ship terminal to the apartment as well as transport to the airport when we left through John and this was excellent - great driver. We were able to walk from the apartment to the Acropolis Archaeological Museum, the Acropolis itself, Hadrian’s Arch, Hadrian’s Library, well, I could just go on and on. The apartment is very modern with automatic blinds, and anything you might need for an extended stay. There were 3 adults in our party and we were all thrilled with everything. Thank you so much John, for a wonderful but too short visit!

The property is in a nice quite place and the Host is fantastic.

We had a fabulous time at this apartment. It was super smooth check in process, and John was very helpful throughout our entire stay. The apartment is in walking distance to the Acropolis and felt very safe. We felt that the pictures reflected the apartment accurately. The only minor thing we ran into was that the shower drain did not drain quickly enough, so the water would back up/collect during the shower. Other than that though the apartment was great, and I would definitely stay there again!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. John was the nicest host, so prompt with communication and super helpful. He even arranged for a taxi for us to be picked up from the airport. Apartment is very clean and is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Coffee shop around the corner is nice. Highly recommend!!
