Enjoyed our stay over the holidays in this cozy and comfortable beach home. Very clean, well appointed, perfect size for our family of five and great location. We’d definitely stay again and are so glad we spent the holiday in beautiful Englewood.

We stayed at this property for five days and four nights. Bonnie could not have been more helpful. She really was fantastic. I am a stickler for cleanliness and this property was definitely clean. Just a short walk to the beach with everything you could need in the shed. We traveled with two couples. We had a great time. If you like walking you can walk ten to fifteen minutes to some restaurants or there is a free shuttle that can take you back and forth. Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!! Bonnie was wonderful and answered questions quickly! There was even a bottle of Prosecco there for us when we arrived! The house was stunning! Definitely not a quick flip house! We loved using all of the beach equipment, all in great condition! The outdoor shower was amazing, beds all very comfy. We cannot wait to visit again! Thank you Bonnie and family!

I am reluctant to share how much we loved this little beach cottage because we want to keep it all to ourselves! It is a sweet little gem nestled right in the heart of Manasota Key. The cottage is neat, clean, well appointed and updated. There was nothing we needed or wanted that Bonnie hadn’t thoughtfully provided. We enjoyed nightly bike rides to Stump Pass, on the bikes in the shed. We packed the provided wagon with chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and even a cooler for our days at the beach. While there is only one bathroom, it was such a beautiful, well organized space! We hope to make this cozy little cottage a routine destination when we need a quick get a way. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful rental. It really is perfection!

The location of the cottage is great, it’s an easy walk to the beach. We arrived in time for a late dinner and had specifically asked the host days prior if the grill would have propane. We were told yes so had planned accordingly but arrived to find this was not the case. We found the comforter on the bed to be dirty. We also found items around the cottage apparently left behind by the previous renters. The towels provided were damp & the one hanging made it difficult to tell if they were clean or used. When we contacted the host through VRBO message, we were told her cleaners do a wonderful job & no one complains. When we offered photos, the host was apologetic and offered to replace the comforter & swap the propane tank the next day. The rental handbook stated to contact in writing with concerns but when she arrived the next day, the host was adamant that we should have called her even though we stated that given the hour a message seemed respectful given it wasn’t an emergency. The night before she had had no problem with the message. More than once in only a few minutes while she dropped off the items in concern, she told us about her 5 star rating and made sure to tell us she was taking time off work to bring us these things. With no further complaint from us, she offered to contact VRBO for a refund & we could leave. It didn’t seem like expecting things included in the listing (grill & linens) to be ready to be used was too much of an ask. Apparently, we were wrong.

Cottage is clean & comfortable, obviously renovated. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s so just a few recommendations would be more beach towels, only 3 when listing will accommodate 5 people, need 1 or 2 smaller pots in the kitchen, a small nonstick frypan, and the bunk bed situation is not for everyone, great if renters are 1 couple with children but not so great when it’s more than 2 adults.

We are so grateful we found this place! My husbands brother and wife are teachers and we work for ourselves so we planned our trip around their spring break. The host was over the top accommodating. The house is so clean, well maintained, and loaded with amenities. We brought inflatable paddle boards, such a short walk to lemon bay to fish sea trout and mangrove snapper or to the gulf to snorkel. We road the bicycles provided by the host numerous times to stump pass, again, a very short distance and walked down to the cut to snorkel. Amazing for big whole shells. The shark teeth are great in this area as well. The north beach access is just a short drive or even bike as well. We packed too much gear to bike there for shelling and fishing purposes. Easy bike to the fresh fish market on the key that has fresh stone crab claws November-April, the owner Monica is a gem! It really is a little slice of heaven, close enough to everything but tucked away on a quiet road! Highly recommend!

This beautiful cottage fit us perfectly for a week at the nearby Manasota Key Beach with a short walk to Stump Pass Beach state park. Appreciated all of the beach 'toys', including a wagon for hauling and cooler for beverages.
