This place was perfect for us first time visitors to Kauai. It was just myself and my husband and the space was just right. It was clean and management provided just the right amount of amenities. Martie Law was quick to answer any questions. The place was across the street from the marketplace and it was so convenient. We rented bikes and we could get around town no problem. There was also a beautiful bike/walk/run trail along the beach which was amazing. We drove to the north side and south side and we loved being fairly close to each. We stayed mostly on the east side as there was a lot to do and see. We had a blast. Thank you for making our 25th anniversary memorable and fun.

This condo is in the perfect location to access both Poipu and Princeville. It’s in the middle with lots of access to restaurants and stores. Our condo looked just like the pictures and was very clean! Air conditioning was a big plus!!!!

Fantastic location; the property owner was swift and helpful in communication in check in. Love that the unit has the basics for kitchen and beach going items. Air conditioning was a life saver too! Would recommend to others and as someone who has used Pono Kai, Lae Nani, Kauai Shores condos, I would highly recommend this unit. Mahalo!

The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The location was great with easy access to the north and south of Kauai. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated the beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards and, and cooler since we visited a number of great beaches. The ABC store and shopping mall across the street were great for shopping and light dinners. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings there were delicious filled Malasadas at the nearby Passion bakery.

We had an amazing stay in Kauai. The check-in was easy, the unit already had the ac and fans running so it felt great as we opened the door. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and preparing meals. They have beach chairs and a cooler, which we used everyday. We loved how close the shopping is across the street and how it's centrally located on the island so we could go to the north or the south in about the same time. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend staying in this unit.

The condo was clean, well stocked, and ready for a relaxing trip to Kappa. It’s close to nearby restaurants, shops, beaches, parks, and hiking trails. It was a gem.

There is one AC unit, but it is enough to cool the entire unit. The king bed was super comfy, and there was lots of hangers and room in the closet for everything. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and even coffee filters and spices. In the bedroom closet there were lawn chairs and a cooler. We also made use of the BBQ. The only things missing that are usually supplied in a motel or all inclusive resort were a magnifying mirror and a safe. Unit A11 faces Aleka Loop and is very close to the ABC store. Great when you just need to slip over and pick up something. There was also a farmers market Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the parking lot of the Coconut Marketplace next door which we took advantage of. There was some paint chipping around the edge of the pools and they are in need of maintenance, but not too bad, so that people were still using them. The noise from Kuhio Hwy and Aleka Loop are loud if you are out on the balcony, but you could not hear much inside the unit. Kapaa is about half way down the east side, so is central for trips either north to Hanalei or south to Poipu. We checked in around midnight filled out the form and returned the next morning to fill out the same form that was misplaced. On arrival there was a musty smell. This dissipated with time. The location is good, but there is constant traffic noise when you are outside. The traffic noise is not an issue when you are inside the unit. The unit is well equipped to make your own meals, and we appreciated the spices and coffee filters. The only things that would make the unit perfect are a safe and magnifying makeup mirror. The pool was nice, but you can see where maintenance is required as the paint is chipping off. The BBQ worked fine. The balcony is shady in the morning which is nice. We used the beach chairs and they were great. The bed is super comfy. Overall it is a nice place to stay.

This apartment was perfect for our week-long trip in Kauai! We were incredibly comfortable and almost anything we could think of was in the apartment! The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, cookware, glassware, even tupperware! The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The closet included a ton of hangers and extra bedding if we happened to get cold or wanted to make up the pull-out sofa bed. To our delight, the closet even had 4 beach chairs and a couple of boogie boards! The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash much like a hotel and also a bunch of sunscreen, bugspray, etc. We spent much of our time in Kauai cooking at home and the kitchen made that so easy. The TV included cable and also Netflix, Hulu, etc. that you could log into and watch. There was also a DVD player with quite a few DVDs to peruse. The location of the apartment itself was also great. Smack dab in the middle of the North and South shore beaches and only an hour in each direction. We took morning walks to the shore to see the sunrise and the walk couldn't have been more than 3 minutes. Right across the loop there are a bunch of restaurants, a local farmer's market on specific days, an ABC type store, and cute shops. The beach by the Sheraton down the road was great and has public hammocks and lounge chairs. The only suggestion we have would be to include kitchen scissors and one more frying pan! Truly such a great space and it is evident that the owner took care when supplying and selecting the home decor. Felt like our home away from home.

It's a stone's throw from the beach and from the Lava Lava Beach Club. Nothing like watching the sunset, feet in the sand and having a drink and/or dinner while listening to live music! Though we didn't cook much when we stayed, the kitchen seems to have everything you would need to make a meal or even bake cookies. The king-sized bed is exceedingly comfortable and the decor is great and has a nice beachy feel. We will definitely stay again.

I have to say I was not impressed at all with the actual property, it gave me a creepy old motel feel. However the actual unit is clean and comfortable- just didn't enjoy the balcony at all. I also would recommend that when they know someone is checking in to leave the A/C or at least a fan going. It was very unpleasant to come in tired and feel so hot & muggy. My daughter & I had to take cold showers just to cool off- that's not a welcoming feeling in my opinion. It does have 1 A/C and it does eventually cool off the unit which was nice once it did. I know not many places have AC but if at least there was better circulation in the unit it wouldn't be such a big deal, one other VRBO I rented on our trip did not have A/C but the air circulation and outside breeze was fantastic unlike this unit, so be sure to take advantage of the A/C. The kitchen was very well stocked and TV's worked well for the little bit we used them. It's very convenient to walk to the shopping center nearby, but don't go to the "beach" across the street, it's not swimmable & had some shady characters there, I must've missed the beach mentioned in the description because the one across the street is definitely not it. I also didn't appreciate the email I received upon checkout asking us to make sure to pick up (do dishes- no problem with that) but when I'm paying a cleaning fee I don't appreciate being asked to haul trash outside or to remove bed linens. I didn't, it was a polite request, to be honest, but again, if we're paying a cleaning fee, I don't think that should even be mentioned. If you like the area and the outside of the property is not important to you, this is a very nice unit and once cooled was comfortable to stay in.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The condo is upgraded and has a great beachy feel. The king size bed is very comfortable and everything is clean and new. The location couldn't be more perfect. It's walkable to the beach, and to the Lava Lava Beach Club where you can eat in the sand and watch the sunset. Being on the East Side of the island also has it benefits since it's an easy trip north to Kilauea and Hanalei, or south to Poipu or even west to the Waimea Canyon. The weather was great for our stay. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is really nice and clean. Everything seems new, with a classy, colorful decor. The couch and bed are very comfortable. The owners obviously take great pride in the place, and it feels more like being in someone’s home than in a rental. We love the location. It is so convenient and fun to have the Cocoanut Marketplace right next door. Two of our favorite restaurants are there (Sleeping Giant and Lava Lava). If you want to eat in, Safeway is about a 1 to 2 minute drive from the condo. If you just want to take a day off and do nothing, the beaches are wonderful and just a short walk away. We are definitely coming back to this little gem.

1. The road noise from from the highway was too much. There is a traffic speed bump right out the windows, vehicles pass by the unit at all hours of the day and night, making a loud “thump-thump” that startles us awake. Also the adjacent tenants were were very loud, and could easily be heard through the walls. 2. When we arrived there was a plastic bag hanging from the front door knob that contained toilet paper and paper towels. That’s not typically how I would expect to be welcomed to a vacation rental. 3. None of the trash cans had bags, there were no garbage bags that we could find in the unit nor instructions on how to dispose the garbage. we are unsure if we could dispose the garbage directly into the garbage bin should of the unit. We end up using the welcome toilet bag as a trash bag. 4. there were no beach towels for our use. 5. The windows for this unit face the parking lot of the little shopping center and highway. we had to cut this stay short and pay for better accommodations elsewhere on the island at a premium, but staying any longer in this unit would have given us greater regrets, and very little rest after a full day of fun outside. I reached out to the ELITE vacation rental and never heard back from them.

Apt was well stocked could have had some pool towels but everything else we needed was in the apt. King bed was exceptionally comfortable.. Patio view of coconut plantation was disappointing. Even though clean it had an old musty smell. No dishwasher or washer and dryer in unit.

We had a wonderful stay at Plantation Hale! The location is great, a very short walk to the beach, stores, and great restaurants. Much more a short drive away. A well-stocked kitchen made preparing food easy. Also included was everything needed for a day at the beach. The unit was clean and in great condition. We highly recommend A11 and would definitely stay here again!

The property managers were great to deal with. Place was clean and renovated very well. Came with nearly everything we needed (only a baking sheet and BBQ tongs would have completed the set). This was perfect for us.

I stayed here for a week and loved it! The location was great and the condo itself was very cute and comfortable. There was plenty of parking, a shopping center right next door and it was not too far from town. I enjoyed my stayed there very much and would stay there again!
