The guest house was perfect for two people! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed! We loved the quiet neighborhood with all the hiking trails that were nearby. The best part though was the lake. Absolutely beautiful!

The lake itself was the best; clean, picturesque and sandy-bottomed for a long ways out. Perfect for swimming and boating. Enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The guesthouse itself was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed opening the windows for a nice cross breeze but air conditioning was an option had I needed it. The only drawback was that you had to climb up and down a flight of stairs. The hosts were wonderful - they were consistently cheerful and helpful but not intrusive on my vacation experience at all.

The place was very nice. Right on the lake. The beach was clean and the dock was nice to sit out on at night. The hosts were excellent and very informative.

The hosts were kind and provided us with lots of information about the area’s restaurants, activities etc. The apartment was very clean. The beach area was wonderful, but was shared with the hosts.

Enjoyed the lake and the surrounding nature trails. Great opportunities to enjoy the lake, hiking, and bike riding. Jess and Pam are unbelievably nice and accommodating. Definitely would go back.

I spent an incredible week at Jess and Pam’s place. They were truly amazing hosts, and Jess has such knowledge about the area. The accommodations were perfect. The lake was very relaxing and such cool places to visit all within 45 minutes or less. Looking forward to my next stay here!

My second vacation here. I love the apartment which has everything I needed. The hosts, Jess and Pam, were friendly and helpful and fun to be with and to hike with, often with the sweet new dog, Maverick. The beach is just lovely there. Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful weeks stay here. Apartment is as pictured, very clean and well equipped. Great jumping off point and we had a very relaxing time exploring the area. Jess and Pam were excellent hosts. Took the time to give great recommendations and even took us on a bike ride and hike. We brought our kayaks and bikes. Enjoyed a kayak trip setting off from the house , through Burt lake, Indian river and into Mullet lake. Lots of biking trails in the area and fun towns to visit. All easy accessible. Highly recommend. Wonderful people and Maverick was a highlight. Thanks so much for making us feel so at home!

We enjoyed laying out on the beach a couple days, cooking out, but then the weather didn’t cooperate the rest of the vacation. But no worries, we were close to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinaw, and we even went into the UP for a day trip. Jess and Pam are very kind, and also helpful with things to do and places to eat. I couldn't have picked a better place to unwind. Jess and Pam have a beautiful place and were always helpful if needed. Everything was very clean and I felt very welcomed and right at home. I could hear the waves at night and the birds chirping in the morning. I really enjoyed my time there and would love to stay again.

Renting from Jess and Pam was seamless all the way through. Their responses to our questions were very prompt and informing. Their guest house was immaculate -every room was very clean, and had many helpful touches in each room. A porch for for us to sit and relax and view the lake. A well stocked kitchen with everything you need - don’t even bring a spoon! The coffee table in the front room had a basket full of brochures from everywhere nearby. They also had photo albums of some of the most beautiful photos of their Lake and land from every season. The bed is very comfortable and in a good sized bedroom - even has a rocking chair. The dining area is a good size also. The bathroom has a heater fan in the ceiling that was sooo nice after a shower. The shower was perfect also. They have a beach, deck, hammock, picnic table, canoe, and a paddle boat - all for our enjoyment! The Millers were helpful and friendly and gave us many ideas for restaurants and area places to visit. On a scale of 1-10 we give the Millers a solid 10! We hope to go back soon!! Thank you for the most enjoyable anniversary week!!

We had a wonderful time. The cottage and beach were great. We had everything we needed. Our hosts, the Millers, were fun and helpful. We even hiked together one day. Very grateful for such a wonderful vacation.

Absolutely lovely guest home and property. Guest house is clean, comfortable and very well stocked with what you need. Lake property is incredible. Water is so clear with lots of swimming area. Owners very available to give area information. Only problem could be if you are counting on wi-fi. It doesn't connect readily. And not to be used for streaming of any type per owner.
