Wonderful property and great management.

We could not have been happier with our stay at 1 Summer Place. It was perfect! Starting with the realtor - who was fantastic from the second we booked. They were so gracious and attentive with all of our questions. The house - is just beautiful! This is our second trip back to Folly Beach and this time we spent the entire time at the house rather than sight seeing (due to current COVID conditions). It was the perfect house for that. So well stocked! (Better than any other house we’ve rented), super comfortable, beautifully decorated, so much to do with volleyball court, cornhole, sandtoys etc., and so many gorgeous places to enjoy meals and listen to the sounds of the ocean. We were so sad to leave. We will definitely return here!

This home is nicely equipped with a large table for family dinners. The living area had ample and comfy seating for sitting around playing games on a rain day. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

As always, our stay was terrific! We love that deck down by the water, even in the cold! 2 things: When we arrived, we found 3 pair of men’s slacks in the master closet. They are not ours. Also, the master bath sink is very slow to drain (no biggie)! We will be back!!

My family and I had an awesome vacation! The house and location were perfect.

We spent a great week in this home with our adult kids, their spouses, and our two young granddaughters. The 4-year-old was thrilled with the upper bunk, and that room was perfect for a family although it lacked storage. We spent a lot of time outside, of course, and on the screened deck. Who can resist the beach right outside your door! My husband and I loved the master suite and it's deck. From booking to check in, to a needed a/c service call - everything was handled easily, quickly, and professionally. Great stay!!

This was the first trip for my family that was not to the oceanfront home we just sold and had owned for almost 50 years. This was an incredible "new" experience for us all and such a gift. I could not have designed a nicer situation, setting, or home for us. Thank you for sharing it. We are already discussing the next visit in spring 2020.

The pros: This was a lovely house; perfect for three adults trying to have their own bedrooms and own bathrooms. The kitchen was well appointed. The screened in porch was a big plus. The deck and oceanfront access provided multiple options for areas to soak up the sun. Plenty of entertainment options for nights in or for outdoor play when not on the beach. Even the soaps provided in the bathrooms were nice. The major con: We were disappointed to have to deal with a bug issue during our stay, despite our keeping the place clean and reaching out to the management company about this very issue in advance of our trip. Even though it was eventually resolved, three of our nights were ruined because of bugs. This was not something we were expecting to deal with for the money we paid on a one-week rental.

Excellent, relaxing beachfront stay at 1 summer. Plenty of deck space to enjoy when the high tide soaks up the sand and plenty of beach to sprawl out on during low tide. Great side yard for fun and games. House has plenty of beach toys, ocean floats and even yard games like cornhole! 5/5 would highly recommend.

We loved being right on the beach. We listened to the waves crashing all night which was wonderful! The home was very clean, great comfortable beds and a pretty well equipped kitchen - the huge deck on the ground level with steps down to the beach is awesome and the screened porch off the living area is wonderful for morning coffee and meals. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Nicely decorated, modern and easy to get to. Minutes from Folly beach resterants, 15 min from downtown Charleston

House is very comfortable for 4 adults and two teenagers. Gorgeous views from everywhere. Comfortable furniture and beds. Even room for an overnight guest, another teenager. Just love this house and location. Easy walk to lighthouse.

This property is AWESOME! Just returned from a girl's long weekend in Folly Beach, and we had a wonderful time staying at this house on the beach...would definitely go back!!

We just left this relaxing home and all agree that the layout suited our 3 couples very nicely. Rooms are large and bathrooms lovely as well. Kitchen is stocked well with pans and dishware. ..be sure to take staples as they clean cupboards after each rental. Lovely new lower deck with lots of seating. Folly is a quiet area and home is at the far end, so private and relaxing. Beds were comfy and living room great for gathering.

This was the perfect beach house for our extended family of 9 people, including a few kids. We got a ton of use out of the three (!) levels of beach-facing decks, and never-crowded beach right in front of us couldn't have been better. Furnishings were nice and the unit is in great condition overall. Would recommend without qualification. We also liked the location; close enough to restaurants / "downtown" Folly to make for a quick trip, but peaceful and removed from the hubbub. Having Charleston roughly 25 minutes away was perfect for sightseeing and the occasional stormy day activity.
