Had a great time! plenty of room for 12 of us. clean and kitchen was stocked full. we only wish it was closer to town. Did have to uber everywhere which they did come in a few min every time so wasn't a big deal. Had lots of great memories!

We visited Austin for a wedding and since we had mix of ages with our guest we wanted to stay closer to downtown for restaurants and things to do, and this property was perfect for that! We loved that it was a historical style home but updated and functional. We traveled with little ones ranging from 9 months to 3 years old and there was plenty of space and the home felt safe for our group. The back deck was so nice to hang out and eat as a group. We loved this rental so much, if we go back to Austin we will definitely be returning!

My team stayed here for a team offsite. It was wonderful to have this big space for meetings, breakfast, and sunset drinks. The space is beautiful also and Shannon was incredibly responsive and helpful! Hope to be back next year!

Our group had a nice stay at Shannon’s place. Check in was smooth, she was very responsive to any questions, and the back yard was great for hanging out and entertaining.

I stayed here with a group of 10 women (all in our 40s) for our annual girls trip. The house is fantastic, plenty of room for all of us, and just a very unique, historic home. The location is also great, super close to downtown if you don’t mind walking or a short karaoke-cab ride away. Yes they have karaoke-cabs here! Shannon was very responsive the few times we had a question and the house is well-stocked with anything you need. Would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. Firstly, Shannon is amazing. So communicative and kind. Second, the house was exactly like the listing and even better in person. There’s a “pay it forward” mentality with the home where previous bachelorettes left behind decor and favors to use and we were so excited to be able to do the same. Truly, this house is so perfect. The beds are the most comfortable beds, the house is decorated beautifully, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. I cannot recommend this home enough!!!!

Great communication with property manager! House had plenty of room and was very cozy. A couple of minor issues (garbage not being picked up and no where for us to toss garbage, and a leak in the bathroom), but we managed and Shannon was great in helping to accommodate us!

Pros: location, great history of the home and neighborhood, character, owner was helpful in recommending Austin music venues, very accommodating for large groups (we had 9 people) Cons: had to wait 15 min in 101 degree before owner knew we arrived, upstairs shower was lukewarm, grounds could have been more clean (dead plants in planters, leaves and needles could have been blown or cleaned up) One thing that would have been helpful was to have info on some good food/music in the House Rules Book

Overall decent experience but not exactly what we were expecting- owner was there upon arrival still preparing the home for 45 minutes (check-in was 4pm, we arrived about 4:05pm), not impeccably clean, lots of items broken throughout the home (upstairs shower curtain, bathroom door handle, one of the beds). However the mattresses were very comfy, the ac felt great, the outdoor seating in the back was nice. Overall, nice home for big groups.

Shannon's large, clean home was the perfect spot for a bachelorette weekend. Comfortable beds, large spaces for the group to hang, and character and charm to boot. Walkable to Rainey Street, Black Swan Yoga, and more.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location and size of the home were perfect. Shannon was a great host!

Incredible house, from location and space, to decor. Fit 12 comfortably. Backyard was incredibly spacious. Entire property is gated, which adds a layer of safety for our all female group. Location is great for going out at night, eating during the day, and just about anything else you’d want to experience in Austin. Host was easily reachable via the messaging feature. Had zero issues with the features of the home. Would absolutely stay here again!

A group of 10 of us came to Austin for the first time and stayed at Shannon's place. It was a great house for the five couples (all rooms had their own exit door and three full bathrooms). Any time we were at the house we were on the back porch. We also enjoyed the basketball hoop in the back. We were able to walk, scooter, or cab anywhere we wanted to go (5th street, Congress, Rainey st.) in a short amount of time. There were nice touches with the house that we appreciated (shampoo, all the cookware we needed, all the hot water we needed). I can't think of a better place to stay while in Austin!

This house was incredible! So adorable and we loved every minute of staying here with our large group.

Our group of 10 was able to fit comfortably in the home. We loved how the house came stocked with leftover decorations, plastic wear, alcohol, sunscreen, and more. Walking distance to Rainey Street, taco trucks and some other fun downtown sites. The only downside is we wish the outside front and back areas were cleaned up a little nicer. The inside was nice and clean with comfortable beds. Overall we had a nice stay!

Shannon has been so kind and responsive throughout this entire process. She was always prompt in responding to our questions regarding our house, things to do within the area, and even how to accommodate instacart deliveries from the moment we booked up until the moment we checked out of the house. The house is spectacular, with many rooms that were perfect for our larger group but a big enough living space for all of us to hang out. Our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to visit Austin!

I went to this house for my bachelorette party! Though the check in was a bit delayed and the cleaning team did not run dishwasher or take out trash (flies!), it all turned around quickly! We had an incredible time. Shannon was extremely responsive online to my many questions beforehand. This house has everything you could want/need for a fun weekend away with friends! So much space for people to sleep, plenty of bathrooms to get ready + leftover party favors from previous parties!! There was a large outdoor area for us to hang out and the house was conveniently located to bars + restaurants! 10/10 recommend for any bachelorette party!

This house was IT! An added bonus is that this home is BEAUTIFUL, like it was straight from a magazine. Although we had a large group, we had plenty of room and toiletries and were able to very comfortably stay here. The location was fantastic for our large group. We were able to walk to a couple of close by brunch places that were delicious, and it was a short Lyft ride to all of the other places we went. It is very close to Rainey Street...which is a MUST if you're traveling to Austin. So much fun!It was an all around a perfect trip and this place was part of what made it so successful. Thank you, Shannon! We will never forget this trip.

This property was great for groups and in a great location near downtown. The space was clean and the floor plan with connected bedrooms was so fun for our girls weekend. Thank you so much for letting us use your space, it was perfect for what we wanted.

Spent the weekend here for my birthday with some family and friends. The house is so unique and amazingly decorated! Great entertaining space in the main living area as well as outside on the patio. The host was very easy to communicate with and our check in and out process was seamless! We were very close to everything we needed to be including downtown as well as lady bird lake. 10/10 recommend for big groups! Would definitely rent again!

Loved our stay here! Shannon's house is lovely, and was perfect for our group of 8. The house is adorable and the location is super convenient being close to downtown/Rainey street The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies/utensils as well as plenty of seasonings and condiments. The house is older so we had a tiny issue with a broken shower head, but Shannon and her husband were super responsive and came over right away to fix it. Highly recommend staying here on your visit to Austin!

Our team recently stayed here when doing business with a potential client in Austin. The team has been under a lot of pressure and this property truly brought joy and comfort. Shannon was very responsive and accommodating, allowing early check in and even meeting the team personally to let them in. A wonderful experience!

I loved the location and the size of the property. The property had some excellent features. It was extremely close to the convention center and 6th street.

The house was everything and more. It was perfect for our group of 11 guys. The house description was just as it is stated in the listing and Shannon was more than accommodating and informative. The house is situated in such close proximity to Rainey street that you could walk or even scooter! The kitchen was immaculate and the back patio served as a great hangout spot in preparation to go out for the night, to relax, and even BBQ. Just one note would be that the upstairs bedroom's pull out couch is a tad smaller than expected, it is plenty big enough for a smaller person but might be a squeeze for a larger adult. Alternatively, in the game room there is another futon that was perfect as another sleeping area. Overall our group had an incredible time and the house was a big factor to our overall enjoyment of the trip. We look forward to coming back to Austin and would 1000% plan to stay here again! Property exceeded all of our expectations! Multiple large areas for extended family to visit and enjoy time together. The outdoor space was perfect, kitchen well equipped and beds very comfortable. We loved our time at Shannon’s place. Perfect location for any UT Austin graduation or special event!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, historic East Caesar Chavez home. We are a family of ten and there was plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. We truly enjoyed all the amenities and the pictures are a very real representation of how lovely this home is. The owner was very friendly and responsive, honest and easy to work with. The location was ideal, I think we walked the entire city from the house. I would definitely recommend this home and would love to stay again when I am back in Austin.
