We stayed for a week at the end of March 2023. We had a wonderful time and the property was beautiful. Nice shaded area by the pool for afternoon drinks and snacks. Super comfortable beds and the cutest decor! The property manager was very quick to respond to any email but was not pushy or too in our business, which we really appreciated. I would totally go back to this property and would highly recommend to stay here. I loved the tree with the eye….

This property did not disappoint. We had a lovely stay with our 1 year old twins. One of the best parts of our stay was Monic! She is the property manager. Not only did she send us a list of recommendations, she made our arrival (especially with little ones) a dream. We had groceries from the Starfish Market and baby gear from island baby delivered to the home and ready on our arrival. House was clean. Beds comfy. Stocked with all the things we needed. Very happy. We enjoyed a different beach everyday. It took us about 20-30 minutes to all of the top beaches on the north shore. Cruz Bay was an easy 10 minutes. We loved having a rental car to explore - it was a must for us (we rented on St. Thomas and took the car ferry). The views are as photographed. They are just beautiful. We enjoyed sunrise and sunset - such a relaxing and peaceful place. Great place to listen to the frogs. The pool was a little chilly for us (at the end of February) - best used at the warmest time of the day. That didn’t stop us (but we are from the Midwest). My favorite part may have been the two outdoor showers. Sooo relaxing. The third bedroom downstairs is only accessible by the outdoor stairs (no direct access to the main living space). Stairs with good lighting options at night. If you stay here - you must check out the Windmill for a view (and cocktail) at sunset. They had live music on the weekend. We also really enjoyed a casual meal at Shambles. Both locations casual dining or drinks / no reservations / ~5 minute drive. Lastly, the owner was very responsive. We added a few days to our stay. She was so speedy and accommodating. Would stay again. Thanks!

The property was just perfect for our family. Very clean and decorated perfectly. Loved the outdoor showers and the location was close to town and the beaches. The view was lovely as well.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mangaade! Very well appointed home with well stocked kitchen and amenities. House feels more like a home rather than a rental property. Definitely appreciate the owner's touch and feel throughout. The lap pool is amazing and the deep end keeps the water temperature perfect. Really cool outside bar adjacent to pool was huge bonus. Location was wonderful as it provided for ease to both Cruz Bay and Centerline Rd (Hwy 10) for trips to Coral Bay and Hwy 206 cut off. Lots of fun with the switchbacks. Property manager Monic and owner are both delightful and very responsive! We look forward to returning.

We loved staying here! The views are gorgeous, the pool is delightful. It's unusual to have a pool long enough for laps and we swam every day. The three bedrooms worked well for us, with the teens having a separate entrance downstairs. The house is well kept and well supplied. The location is nice - close enough to town but it feels remote, with easy access to the beaches and the inland groceries and restaurants. We'd definitely return.

We highly recommend this very special property. Although we were only a party of four (two adults, two teens), we opted for all three bedrooms and were glad we did. There were tons of indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone to come together and steal some time away for themselves. (The teens especially enjoyed the pool and the hammock chairs.) The property is beautifully maintained and organized (love the labels on all the switches!). It was the perfect jumping off point to head to Cruz Bay and to the North Shore beaches. The property manager, Monic, is extremely responsive and helpful. Don’t hesitate to book this wonderful villa.

This is a wonderful property. Beautifully landscaped and kept up. It has wonderful areas to enjoy family time together. There are two lovely decks, seating areas, a pool and bar area that are all inviting for socializing and relaxing. We were pleased with everything about the property. Monic was our VRBO contact and was easy to get in touch with and check our needs before and during our stay. 5 stars earned!

Our experience from the time of booking and throughout our entire stay was fantastic. The communication was great, both with the owner and property manager. The property was exactly as we expected based on the description and photos. Our family of 6 enjoyed our time and we can’t wait to come back!

This home was perfect for our family of four. Two tweens loved the loft area for reading and playing their video games. The house has so many indoor and outdoor spaces; something for everyone. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. Monic was very friendly and responsive when I had questions.

Villa Maangade was everything and more for our stay at St. John. The villa is stunning with sunset views each day. The Tesla solar system at the villa was great as there were several power outages on the island. We loved the mango trees, birds singing, and seclusion of the villa. We hope to be back!

This is one of the few properties I’ve stayed at that was actually better in person. Kitchen was as well equipped as any short term rental I’ve been in. Bedroom was easily unpacked into. Plenty of drawer space, hangers, linens and towels. Even a hamper. Outdoor showers might not be for everyone, but I loved it. A little difficult to find at night. I would recommend the management drop a pin at the location and share it with the renters. Directions are difficult on the island. Maybe a fan up in the corner of the bar area would have had us using that area a little more since it’s tucked away from any breeze. Overall everything felt really well thought out though. I think we used every space on the property and wanted for nothing in particular. Great place and would recommend it to anyone who asked me. -D. King

This villa is truly a slice of paradise, with all the things you need for a relaxing stay on St John. Gorgeous views, private pool, peaceful neighborhood. All the beach things you need are provided (umbrella, chairs, coolers). Monic is a big help with restaurant reservations and tips. We’d come back.

We have been to St. John numerous times, always staying at different villas. Due to COVID, we escaped to Villa Mangaade for 2 weeks. The accommodations were exceptional! Location to Cruz Bay very convenient. Many appearances by iguanas and tons of hermit crabs for added excitement. Little loft area was great for our 13 year old. Pool area perfect. Everything was perfect!! Thank you for a much needed family escape!

Totally enjoyed our two week stay. Property manager great! In need of new beach towels and pool was really cold.

We rented the house for a gals trip (four ladies) and had a wonderful time! It had plenty of room, comfy beds, towels, beach towels, ect. Everything we needed for a great vacation. We will definitely come back and would recommend to others for sure! Thank you again!!

Your villa is perfection. The layout, decor, kitchen and bedrooms are perfect. And who can resist outdoor showers? Loved the pool and bar area also. Perfection is six people with smiles on their faces for an entire week. We thank you.

Our family of six had a fabulous time staying in this spacious, well equipped, home with a gorgeous mountain top view of the water. We used all three bedrooms and my 20 year old son did fine sleeping in the loft. We had some fabulous meals in Cruz Bay and easily cooked and grilled at home as well. The property manager, Monic was a tremendous help picking us up from the ferry and taking us up to the house, and answered any questions i had via text immediately. We had one rainy afternoon and ended up having a blast playing games (i think we used up most of the drawing paper in your pictionary game;) ... You will have a blast staying here!!

First time VRBO and first time St. John. Everything was perfect. Would stay again.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice. We had 4 adults who stayed for 5 days. Check in process is easy. You call to let them know what ferry you are on & a driver meets you to bring you to the house. It is about 10 minutes from downtown which made getting where we needed to go so easy! The salt water pool, was perfection. We watched the sunset over the ocean every night. The beds were so so comfy. We didn’t utilize the outdoor bar, but if we were there longer we sure would of. The hanging hammocks were fun to sit their and relax. There is SO much room within the house! We never felt like we were on top of each other. The wildlife was full of life. Iguanas who sunbathed poolside (3 of them). The property was full of lush beautiful island plants! How fun are the outdoor showers? So fun! Everything was perfect & I would go back here 100 times if I could! Highly recommended!! ENJOY!

The kitchen is well equipped.

We were 2 couples staying and Villa Mangaade was perfect. Two king rooms on either side of the house with an additional 3rd bedroom by the pool deck. The kitchen had everything you need, including stainless steel cookware, serving dishes, kitchen gadgets, and dinnerware. We cooked dinner several nights. The unit is well decorated and furniture is in great shape. The wireless Bose speakers are perfect in the house. The Villa had more than enough chairs and coolers for day trips to the beaches. Would recommend a jeep for getting around the island. The outdoor dining table for 8 under the gazebo was great, and we saw iguanas every morning sunning in the trees. One of the best aspects is the location up on Gifft Hill. The Villa is only about 5 mins from several grocery stores and markets. Its ideally situated a short drive from Cruz Bay, and only 20 mins from Coral Bay and surrounding area. It's so close, but feels very secluded. Melissa made everything easy and we would highly recommend staying. We can't wait to come back! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Celebrated my 50th birthday in St. John with my husband and another couple. We absolutely loved Villa Mangaade! Some days it was hard to leave the villa, but we always came back at the end of the day to enjoy the pool and have cocktails at the bar. We plan on making this an annual trip and staying at Villa Mangaade. 10 minutes to Cruz Bay, 20 minutes to Coral Bay and convenient to all of the beaches. We absolutely loved it!

We very much enjoyed our time at Villa Mangaade. The house is nicely appointed and has all the little incidentals you need. It’s a tropical paradise.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mangaade. We were two couples traveling together and the house was perfect. We each had a king bedroom on opposite ends of the house, both with gorgeous water views, comfortable beds, and outdoor showers. There is a third bedroom that you access from the pool deck that we didn't use, but it would be perfect if traveling with another couple or family. The kitchen was very well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised to find some snacks and drinks waiting for us when we arrived after a long day of travel! The outdoor areas of this home are great with nice seating on the top deck for coffee in the mornings and a great outdoor dining table on the pool deck. Although we didn't end up using it (We couldn't tear ourselves away from the happy hour at Longboard! Those frozen Painkillers are not to be missed!), the pool bar was great and well equipped. We also loved the lounge chairs and hammock swings on the lower deck. The house was centrally located and just a short drive from Cruz Bay. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and such a nice setting to come home to after a day at the beach. There were plenty of coolers, beach chairs, and umbrellas available to use. We really had everything we needed to enjoy the most wonderful vacation on St. John. We highly recommend this property!

Perfect villa for 3 couples traveling together. The villa is beautifully decorated in Carribean colors. We enjoyed the deck with its great views and the outdoor bar. Laura met us at the car rental agency and showed us to the house and is a wealth of information! The villa is a short drive to town for lunch, dinner and shopping. We would definitely stay here again! St. John is alive and thriving after the 2017 Hurricane.

This vacation property is incredible! Perfect for a family or a couples get-away. The property is incredible-lush landscaping that is beautifully maintained and close to Cruz Bay. The home is gorgeous and well-equiped with everything you will need to enjoy your time in St. John. With outdoor showers, a large pool, multiple decks for any occasion, and beautiful decor, this is the most amazing place to spend a vacation. First, let me say that St. John, USVI is one of our favorite vacation destinations. All things considered like location, convenience, living space, amenities, and price we have found Villa Mangaade to be an excellent vacation spot. The villa has a Caribbean feel, it is clean and comfortable, spacious, each bedroom has its own bath, air conditioned, a laundry facility and the decks provide spectacular sunsets every evening. The deck off the kitchen is great for grilling and the gazebo provides an excellent place for outdoor dining. The pool is Olympic size and provides a relaxing dip at the end of the day. Villa Mangaade is also conveniently located for shopping, beaches, dining, and night life. Snorkeling is one of our favorite activities as we enjoy watching the turtles, sting rays, and many fish. We enjoy dining at Morgan's Mango, Extra Virgin Bistro and don't miss The Beach Bar for food, music and fun. We highly recommend Villa Mangaade to family and friends as an excellent vacation retreat. This is our 4th trip to STJ and our first trip with our 16 month old daughter. We arrived on island and was met by Laura who showed us the way to pick up the car and headed to the house. the drive has a few sharp turns but nothing a jeep can't overcome. We arrived at the house which was very easy to find as its located across the driveway from VGE. A long driveway with a little turnaround to make it easier to to backup and get back out. The house is immaculate and very well decorated. there are 2 main bedrooms on the main level, each with their own outside shower. Large kitchen equipped with everything we needed. all bedrooms and main living area have AC and plenty of fans to also keep air circulating. the views are unreal from the living room, perfect to watch the sunset. Bose speakers in living room came in handy everyday playing music. There is a 3rd bedroom on the first level where the pool is with a bathroom as well. Along with a nice bar area with plenty of outside seating. we enjoyed coffee out there every morning while our little one ran around. The lap pool was perfect for an evening dip after being at the beach all day - just be warned it is deep! (a plus for us). There is a loft located above the kitchen that has 2 couches and a desk as well that could be used as a bedroom if needed. Owners had coolers, chairs, and floats to use in the pool.
