We planned a brief trip to our favorite location on the East Coast! Amy did a great job communicating and the property was well equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to enjoy our stay - even toothbrushes in the event we forgot ours. The owners were very accessible, accommodating, and happy to answer any questions we had promptly. GREAT JOB and thank you for an incredible short get away!!

We absolutely loved this home. It was perfect for our mid to large size family. We have older parents who have mobility issues and one was wheelchair-bound. This home was an absolute paradise. Has a wide open floor plan, so no issues for someone with a wheelchair, the elevator was a godsend. And host even recommend how to get a handicap accessible beach buggy for free. We had a one-year-old baby all the way up to elderly parents and this house was absolutely perfect. We could all sit eat and visit together in the living area and enjoyed lots of family time and memories. House has lots of extras and amenities. Location is a 1 to 2 minute walk to the beach and you can sit on front or back porch and enjoy the views and even listen to live band music at the Neighborhood Trailor bar. We noticed in one of the other reviews somebody mentioned the music was too loud. But we thought it was perfect. You could visit outside and still enjoy hearing the music, but it wasn’t too loud to talk over. And music shut down at 11pm and wasn’t even noticeable if you were inside. The house was absolutely perfect, and would definitely book it again!

We enjoyed our weekend, the house was perfect for 2 families and 2 dogs. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the location was perfect, with a short walk to the beach.

We were so comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sweet Tea. The beach is easy access, within walking distance which was nice for hauling all of our supplies. We had the luxury of sitting on the deck and listening to live music from the Trailer Bar. It was a most pleasurable experience and plan on returning next year. We arrived later than we expected, this was due to Saturday traffic of other holiday seekers. Our accommodation was cool and lovely, ready for us. The bedrooms were complete and linen/towels all set out. The reception of the entry code by text was interrupted by a cell phone glitch which was upsetting and quickly sorted by a helpful VRBO rep. She connected us immediately with Amy our host. Once inside, the views of the ocean and a local musician performing open air began the wonderful week. Plenty of room for all 7 adults to spread out. Privacy and common area inside and out. Additional toilet on main floor in laundry area next to kitchen. We love the kitchen and played board games one night on the table. Short walk to beach, outside shower to remove sand. Evening concerts were fun and varied. Never too loud or too long. Hosts fixed a problem with one of our beds immediately when they were advised. Wonderful location, attentive wonderful hosts, and wonderful week.

My father is handicapped and uses a walker so the elevator was awesome to have! The beach was just a short walk away. Every restaurant we went seemed to be only a couple minutes from the house. Looking forward to booking again!

We had a wonderful experience. This location is across the street from the beach and easy access. House has very open floor plan. Could handle large groups easily. Porch in front and back of house. Our family had a great time. Bar is a couple of doors down but noise did not affect our visit.

We loved our stay at this property. It fit everyone comfortably and was a short walk from the beach. The bar was a little loud so if you are a light sleeper you should bring ear plugs.

Wonderful place to stay, good if you have small children. Gates on top of all the stairs on the decks that are too hard for babies to get open, a lot of other baby amenities provided. Good bedroom set up. Fun being next to the trailer bar if adults want to pop over for a drink after the kids go down or just listen to the music from the porch and make your own drinks! Spacious home with elevator access . Packed with extras such as beach wagons, beach chairs, boogie boards, and canopy. Outdoor shower, grill and 2 swings. Well equipped kitchen island with a wine ‘frig and Keurig machine. Streaming tvs & wi-fi. Even had a crib and high chair for a baby! Easy beach access and playground located a block away. Helpful and quick to respond owners. Would definitely plan to stay again!

We loved staying here for the week with our family! The layout of the house was perfect and the hosts were great to communicate with. The carport area was a fantastic space to unload after the beach and for the kids to safely play. The beach access is really close and having the park down the street was a lot of fun. A blessing or a curse but you’re really close to Trailer Bar (one house in between) and on nights they have live music you can hear it so plan on having a noise machine if you’re a light sleeper. The kitchen needs a few more sauce pans but otherwise it’s very well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

We got so lucky that they had a cancellation and we were able to rent this house. Location was perfect, we had beautiful sunsets and could see the lights on the bridge. Everything you could need was in the kitchen and not having to bring linens was a huge plus. The hostess were quick to answer every question. Looking forward to renting again.

Sweet Tea by the Sea was the perfect getaway for our family. It was absolutely cozy and inviting until we felt as we were at home. The main living area is very spacious for larger families. It’s conveniently located to the beach and not too far from the local market. I had read previous comments about the Trailer Bar being close but even though it’s nearby we only heard music one night and it was actually welcoming for us. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Amy was absolutely amazing!!! She responded quickly to any questions we had on the house and the area. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home. First Christmas we spent at the beach. Weather was great! Amy was so easy to work with. Would highly recommend this house. Very clean and well maintained. Elevator was a huge plus for us elderly folks!

We had a wonderful trip and the house was perfect. The accessibility of the elevator was key for us and the location near the public beach access with a playground was great. The trailer bar two houses away is not ideal but it wasn’t particularly loud just could hear music at night. We would definitely come back and stay here again

This house is great-VERY clean, roomy, well stocked kitchen, plenty of parking, excellent location. The owners quickly responded to any questions. The bar nearby was not an issue AT ALL! We heard live music when we were on the deck but couldn’t hear it inside the house - and that was only 2 nights out of the whole week! Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a lovely time. The house was clean and beautiful. Great location and the elevator was perfect for me as I have a muscle disease and steps are very difficult.

I was stressed until I saw this place; but once I saw pictures…what a beauty! I needed to accommodate 9 people and a service dog for my husband's retirement ceremony from the USMC, and this location provided every amenity that we could have asked for. There were plenty of beds, seats for the table, extra linens, dishes, and cutlery for everyone. None of our guests had any issues with any of the beds or other furniture and were all very comfortable. Normally, I cannot sleep the first night in a new place, but I knocked right out all three nights. The elevator made it extremely easy to bring 9 people's luggage to living spaces. Anyone traveling with a baby might only need to bring the baby as a high-chair, crib, and baby utensils (and bibs!) were also available for use. This place also features a variety of pots and pans, as well as a slow cooker, blender, and hair dryers (though not in the kitchen, hehe). The outdoor deck was comfortable for enjoying a meal outside and had an amazing view of the beach. Communication with the owners was quick and open, and they texted me the door's lock code well before check-in. What we found most delightful was the 3-minute walk to the playground (which my son enjoyed) and a 4-minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this home for your next getaway...we hope to stay here again soon!

I stay at a lot of VRBO properties, and i like to give The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly in my reviews.To be honest, its mainly all good. The house is great, clean, modern, well laid out. Close to the beach etc. Its perfect for dog owners with a nice back yard area. The elevator is good for your luggage.The only issue.....its only one house away from somewhat of a rowdy bar, "The Trailer Bar". We went at the end of winter, so it wasnt so busy (other than one night), but having been on the island many times over the last ten years, i know how busy and loud it gets in the summer, If noise doesnt bother you, then stay in this house, the house is perfect.If noise bothers you, you may want to reconsider. We were there on Saint Paddys day, the bar was packed, inside and out, not a mask in site, and very loud.So, would i stay there again? The house is wonderful, but for me personally, i would not go back given the location to the bar. If you are younger and into night life, its perfect fo you
