Lovely property. Lovely hosts. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine, fresh farm eggs. I loved their farm animals!!!!

We had a nice weekend getaway here. Easy access to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge & Medicine Park. We enjoyed the screened-in porch in the evening.

We had a pleasant stay, very nice and quiet, and it was everything they said it would be.

Wonderful accommodations for a couple getting away for a few days!

The property is well stocked and provides all you need for your stay. We brought our dogs and loved the proximity to the owners small variety of farm animals. The pig, dog, and chickens provided entertainment for us and the dogs. We loved how it was along the river but not in the middle of the all the traffic. You can get in the water from the dock and float down to the main swim area and walk the town to check out vendors. We loved driving Mt. Scott and driving out to the wildlife refuge for sunset-a definite must see to spot elk, buffalo, and longhorns. Coming home after a long day in the sun was awesome because the cabin provides such nice amenities and the bathroom is just perfect! You have to check this spot out.

We had a great time staying at Tim and Sondra’s guest house. It was a perfect set up for the two of us and it was wonderful that they allowed our two fur babies to come along. The location was perfect to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and Medicine Park strip where we spent most of time. They were quick to communicate and answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location. We loved the boat access and sweet animals on the property.

I was concerned about other dogs being there,we have a service dog but it was great no problem at all very clean it was a wonderful and the host and hostess was so nice and helpful, it was very relaxing. We do wish they would put in hand bars in shower gets very slippery in there. It was large and very nice, bed was good.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and well provisioned. We had everything we could want. Sitting on the screened porch listening to a rain shower was only one of the things we enjoyed. It's the best stay we have had in any Vrbo property.

This place is amazing. I spent the weekend here with my fiancé and dog. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and piece of cookware you should need. The screened in porch is perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or a beer or glass of wine in the afternoon. The bathroom is huge and the walk-in shower is great after a long day of hiking. The living room is comfortable and there’s every streaming service you might need on the tv including cable. Mount Scott is about a 5 minute drive and there are dozens of beautiful hiking trails within 30 minutes of the front door. We plan on booking this place next time we visit the refuge and will probably do an extra day just to have more time to hang out in the house. The Holts are amazing hosts and provided everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend.

Perfect time of the year to see wildflowers and enjoy the Wichita Wildlife Refuge and all its hiking trails. This lovely guesthouse had everything. The views were lovely, the host left snacks, drinks, and even fresh eggs. The screened porch was especially nice. Hikes from the house were just beautiful. Medicine Park was lots of fun too with great places to explore.

We fell in love with Medicine Park! What a jewel tucked away in the Washita Mountains. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to do. It was set up perfectly for a couple, plenty of privacy, beautiful vintage pieces, and a cozy screened porch. Clean and comfortable, plus we got to pet dogs, a cat, and a pig and watched the chickens go by. Great hosts! Thank you!

This was our first trip to Medicine Park. The place was in a great location and very cozy for both of us. The owners are wonderful and very available. The fresh eggs were delicious and I loved the resident chickens, dogs, and piggy! Definitely a perk!

Extremely nice, beautifully decorated, very relaxing. Good access to hiking trail once I found it😌. Plenty of supplies to cook with and a nice bonus of snacks/drinks. Definitely a place we will return to.

Quiet neighborhood and comfy accommodations! All we needed and more.

Everything about this place is perfect!

This a great place to stay for an escape to Medicine Park & the Wichita Mountains. It's a short drive into the restaurants of Medicine Park, but far enough away to not be bothered by traffic noise. It's about as close as you can get to the Wichita Mountains wildlife refuge. The place if very nice and clean. The owners are awesome. It's very peaceful to sit on the dock.

Excellent location and easy stress free location

This is such a nice place to stay. You feel like you're at home when you walk through the door. The warmth of the place was just so relaxing. We had our dog with us and the owners also have dogs. I know one is Moe and the other Eddie. Just adorable. We will visit here again.
