My cousins and I (all young adults) has the sweetest time at Stoneybrook. Just being at this cozy little cottage was a highlight of our trip to Asheville! The details in each room and every space are so thoughtful! It felt like home away from home! :)

We've stayed at several properties listed through VRBO, and this was the cleanest and the decor was the finest. It's convenient to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are several good restaurants in the surrounding communities, and other services aren't far away. We'd definitely have this quiet, beautiful place at the top of our list if/when we return to the area.

Elmer and Ruby have The Nicest place tucked away from the hustle an bustle. Elmer was great at communication, and was very responsive with my only question. The property is immaculate, The outdoor Pavilion is where we spent most of our time as the weather was perfect. We also Visited Asheville, and the Biltmore Estate. The backyard trail leads to a private area with hammocks and sitting chairs... Do not hesitate to book this place. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

One of the best VRBO properties I've had the pleasure of visiting. Quiet, fairly close to most locations, great hosts, beautiful property, etc.

I have never been to a Vrbo as clean as this one. And the location was just perfect . We cooked and eat on the patio every day. The forest and creek behind the house are gorgeous. There are hammocks near the Creek that you can relax in. There is a waterfall you can walk to less than a mile away. You can drive up to Mount Pisgah for more amazing hiking. We were extremely comfortable. The town and grocery stores are a significant drive away, maybe 10 or 20 minutes, which was perfect for us. Some of the highways you take to visit, neighboring towns are congested and under construction, so recommend you find alternate routes (tell Google Maps to avoid highways) and take more time on the back roads for more enjoying drives!

This place is truly piece of Heaven. The cottage is fully stocked with everything we needed, kept very clean, and is a cozy little home away from home. The landscaping is breathtaking with fruit trees, bushes, grapevines, and beautiful flowers. The covered patio right outside is kept private, surrounded by pretty bushes and plants, as well as lots of comfy seating with a serene ambiance. Then there's the magical walk into the woods on a well maintained path over a trickling stream surrounded by a beauty only God could create. It leads to a clear brook rushing over large and small rocks, also to another lovely covered patio, more comfortable seating, and even cots where you can relax and listen to the water nearby as well as the birds and other wildlife. The atmosphere is so peaceful! A place like this is truly medicine for the soul. I hope to return and stay longer next time!

The house was amazing and very well stocked but the best part was the outdoor spaces. We spent most of our time in the pavilion or Summer House by the creek. We definite hope to stay here again in the near future!!

From the moment we walked in we knew we picked the right place. It was clean and had everything we needed. We were part of an over 60 men's baseball team. After a long day of playing baseball it was nice to come back to the house and put our feet up by the fire. We invited the whole task over to enjoy the pavilion and fireplace. I'm afraid someone may rent it out from under us if we come back to play next April! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to go back. Elmer and Rudy, your the best. Thanks for sharing your home! This cabin was so cute and so clean! We enjoyed the creek and the wonderful pergola around the creek. It rained on us a couple of days, and there were plenty of games for us to play. Thank you for providing your cabin to us!

A beautiful, cozy, quiet cabin in the mountains with no detail spared! This property has it all - beauty, tranquility and every amenity you could need away from home! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Stoneybrook was truly a wonderful place to stay! From the pavilion, the creek, the beautiful and cozy home, everything was just as described and better. We will definitely be back when we can spend even more time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is spotless and beautifully decorated. The yard is wonderful with short trails back to a creek where you can sit and enjoy the babbling brook. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our fourth trip to our little cottage so relaxing.

This property is amazing. Mr and Mrs Watts went above and beyond with the Christmas decorations. The entire property including the summer house area in the back was decorated. The hot cocoa bar, smores basket and areas of chocolates were a very nice surprise. Our favorite spot at the beginning and the end of the day was the outdoor pavilion area. The outdoor fireplace was all set for us to just light to the fire. There was plenty of kindling and fire wood for our stay. The property had everything you need and more for our stay. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It was exactly as described on the VRBO information page. Fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms. Everything was clean and ready to use. It was completely decorated for the Christmas holiday (which occurred during our visit). Elmer was very friendly, helpful, and responded quickly when we had questions.

Such a beautiful clean, well kept home. Elmer and Ruby make sure the place is homey and welcoming with all the special touches including a hot chocolate bar. The fire was set and ready to go with plenty of extra firewood for the week. The inside is open and a great gathering space for meals. The outside is fantastic for relaxing and enjoying the fire. The walking trails were an added bonus and the summer house with hammocks in the woods was a nice surprise. We will definitely be back.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay, super clean and completely stocked with anything you might need when away from home. Tons of small touches that simply added to the fun experience. A great place to socialize with friends in comfort, REALLY enjoyed the outside fireplace. Looking forward to going back again.

I was shocked at the level of detail and care Elmer and Ruby put into their vacation home, it was gorgeous, as was the surrounding area. We enjoyed our time here immensely.

This is our second time here and we've already reserved it for Spring Break next year! I highly recommend you check it out. You won't regret picking this gem.

We had such an enjoyable time, we hope to be back next year. The cleanliness and fall decorations were above and beyond. We were able to enjoy time in the pavilion as well as the summer house by the creek. Thank you to Elmer and Ruby for providing such a beautiful retreat for us.

This place was great! The owner's have put a lot of time and thought into supplying everything you could need during your stay. Enjoyed the outside area with the fireplace where our granddaughter got to experience her first marshmallow roast and smores. If I ever get snowed in during a stay in the mountains I hope it is at a place so well equipped with everything and fun things to do as this place. Well kept and maintained. I hope to return in the spring when all the flowers are blooming. The only thing wrong was we just didn't have a long enough stay.

Very enjoyable,if you want a quiet getaway. You are 10 -20 miles away from shopping or activities.

This was our second time staying here and it was a perfect getaway again. We love the creek and hanging outside by the fireplace. The house is always clean and stocked with all of your needs. Ashville is just a short distance from the house. We also visited Waynesville and Black Mountain, and both were around 35-minute drive. Beside shopping, you have hiking trails close by too. Thank you, Elmer and Ruby, we love visiting StoneyBrook and will be back again!
