My husband and I very much enjoyed the house, pool and countryside. The owners planned and have taken great care in providing this "home away from home" experience. We really appreciated the cleanliness and attention to details that we experienced. We hope to perhaps return next year if possible.

It was our second time at the property and we’ll be back again. Nestled in the county but just minutes to downtown Collingwood or great trails. Space is always clean and comfy.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Loved the location and quiet of it all. Roomy enough for two couples or 4 friends to stay. Comfortable beds and living room. Spacious and well equipped kitchen. I hope to go back when the pool is open. Such a relaxing place that I would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at this retreat. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. We had everything we needed plus some. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Very comfortable and cozy.

Beautiful property in close proximity to Collingwood, Blue Mountain and Wasaga. Ideally situated, clean and well-appointed. Host responded to inquiries promptly and check-in/out was easy. Having to bring so many sheets and towels was a minor inconvenience as it took up a lot of space in the car, but it’s understandable during the COVID climate. The pool area and upper deck are well-kept and make for an enjoyable outdoor oasis. The upper loft bedroom lacks privacy and as it’s an open space the slightest noise from the kitchen/living area below carries. If you plan on using the kitchen, make sure to bring food essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil etc. All the utensils, kitchen linens, dishes and cookware you might need are provided. Overall, a relaxing stay at a great property.

My son and I had a wonderful relaxing getaway. The cottage is just lovely; clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool, patio and cabana area were great. John was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Overall, a really pleasant experience!

This property is beautiful, especially the pool and garden areas. The house is spotless and tastefully decorated. However, be aware that the expected necessities of things like salt & pepper, paper towels, tissue or plastic wrap are not provided. We also had an unfortunate occurrence with John the owner that left us feeling very ill at ease. On our first evening we took a walk on the path behind the house to enjoy the setting sun amongst the ponds, trees and rolling hills. There was no sign or instructions saying we had to stay within the fenced pool area. There is a cabin at the back of the property which we could not see until we came upon a sign that said "Cabin Users only." We were very respectful of their privacy and did not continue down the path. John was waiting for us - hand on hip when we returned and without even an introduction or hello, barked "which one of you is Trudy?' When I indicated I was, he said "Can you not read the sign?" We assured him we had seen the sign and that we did not infringe on the cabin users privacy. We were obviously being watched....either by John personally or by way of surveillance cameras. From then on we felt very ill at ease not knowing if/when we were being watched. John was confrontational and very rude. I have stayed at VRBO rentals around the world and have never been treated in such a rude and demeaning manner. We were not welcomed, only told where the key was and never once was there a message to see if all was well. When I messaged him to say thanks and that we had left he only replied "thanks" and "your welcome." Yes the house and property are beautiful, but the nasty way we were treated did not make it enjoyable or worth the money. Hence the 2-star rating

This property was the perfect spot for a relaxing family weekend away. The property was beautiful and extremely clean and well kept. The owner was very prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! It was exactly what we needed!

Great getaway

This was our third visit to this property. Everything was wonderful, house is very well kept, everything we needed was there. We always particularly enjoy the pool, our grandson couldn’t get enough of it! Will definitely be back. Thank you for another great experience!

A beautiful location and view! We had a wonderful week relaxing in the peace and quiet . It was very clean and the owners were very responsive during our stay . We will be back !

This was our second stay at the property. The house was spotless. The gardens are beautifully kept and the pool was amazing. It is kept at a nice temperature for swimming. Going again at the end of August...can’t wait!

We had a terrific stay at this property. The pool was clean & sparkling. The beds were comfy. The place was very well appointed overall. And the views were fabulous. A very relaxing stay. There is full sun pretty much all day long at the pool, starting around 9am and finishing with a beautiful sunset. John was a gracious & discreet host -- available if you needed him but gave us our privacy. The covered patio was perfect when it rained. I would most definitely stay here again.

Everything about this listing was perfect. The house, Pool, Location, Owner etc....It's so peaceful there. I'm going to probably book it for next summer.

It is also 2 mins to downtown collingwood should you need anything , or 15 mins to Wasaga /Tiny beaches. We’ve rented for the last 2 summers and will be in the future!
