We took our staff over for a retreat. The space was perfect for us, plenty of comfortable seating and enough beds. We had a great time.

We were so excited to stay at this property. The location was just as stated and close to the beach. Sadly we felt the interior was worn and not very clean. There were stains all over the carpet and was simply worn down. We had a fan in the carriage house that was broken. We were told they would come that day to fix it but did not. I hate to even write these reviews but we have stayed at many VRBO's and the quality of this one was not was displayed online. This place would be wonderful with some fresh paint, thorough cleaners and some new carpet.

We loved the sun and Adirondack chairs! The front porch has a beautiful view of the ocean! So quiet and serene! The bedrooms were great but maybe one more full sized bed would be helpful as the place fits 8 adults so nicely! (Aerobed in upstairs living area. We took a walk to the beach but wear walking shoes as it was rocky. Quick drive to the popular Kyllo’s. The kitchen was well stocked and a nice jacuzzi too! Thank you!

Ten of us from Spokane area stayed the weekend of Easter, 2021. The home and separate Carriage House fit all our needs. We loved the home itself and the location was great. Any problems or requests were handled very quickly. Highly recommend this VRBO.

This was our first venture out during COVID. We were nervous about it. But the house worked perfectly, with the extra guest suite. So we could get privacy from the bigger house and do Zoom private meetings, if needed. We asked that the windows be left opened after cleaning to air the house out, and they obliged. The beach is within a few blocks walk. Hot tub was great! Only downside was that it is in an area with a lot of other beach rentals, us included. So it could get loud at night. Closing the windows helps immensely, but in the summer, we wanted the nice breeze to cool the house. But overall, great rental. Big. Made me feel safe for venturing out during COVID.

House was well appointed and clean. Great location and not far from the beach. We drove down the road to the beach rather than walk on the busy road. Hot tub was clean and in a fairly private location. We really enjoyed staying at this property and were able to get some much needed relaxation.

Easy to work with

Had a wonderful time. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed watching the dear come around from the spacious front porch. If I had to say anything negative it would be, it’s not wheelchair accessible to enter. All in all, we will rent again.

The property was great. Well kept, close to the beach, amenities nearby, with very spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend.

One of the bedrooms was above the garage , and you had to go outside to get to that bedroom. Saturday morning the toilet in that outside bedroom stopped working. We called Meredith and they said they would send someone to fix it. Someone stayed at the house all day Saturday and no one came to fix the toilet. The older couple who were staying in that bedroom had to sleep in the main house Saturday night on the couch, as they did not want to come in from the outside bedroom to use the bathroom during the night. Extremely inconvenient. I call Meredith on Monday and they said they sent someone to fix the toilet. They fixed it on Sunday after we left. I told Meredith I was unhappy about their "no response", response, and they have said someone would contact me. That was in mid January, and no one has contacted me. They don't seem to think it is important. We have rented from them for the last 20 years. They are getting big and do not care about their clients anymore. We will not use them again.

I did have an exception when I was informed by one party I was all paid up but then another party a week later stated we owed more money. Frustrating but I understood what they explained about computers updating. The home itself was beautiful...But there were a few issues, the stairs to each entrance are extremely dangerous and as my lawyer daughter stated, they open up Meredith and the owners to a law suit if someone injures themself, for elderly I wouldn't advise it, home was well stocked, decorations fabulous...we rented quite a few movies and could not get the sound on dvd to work, not sure our fault somehow even though we followed instructi9ns or something amiss with machine. I would advise housekeeping to launder quilts. One did not smell good and I dont want to say what it smelled like. For what we paid I would not give a 5 star because of these issues and a few more but honestly Meredith was wonderful and the home was lovely, just wish these issues and a couple more could have not been an issue for some of my family

We don't get the ocean view as much as we would like but it is not too far to drive down or take a walk. We like having the kitchen on the first floor since we bring our own food and cook at the house then we don't have to haul it up three floors. Overall the home is a nice place to stay. .

There were just a few maintenance issues that had not been addressed prior to our stay. We notified management and they quickly fixed two of the three issues. Just a few things remain to be repaired in the Carriage Housea hole in the wall by the towel rack in the bathroom and an issue with one of the window blinds. I have just one suggestion. Please replace the bathroom linens. They are old, discolored, and scratchy. I actually purchased some washcloths to use during the stay because the ones provided were so nasty. That being saidthe home is lovely, the beds are very comfy, and having several bathrooms in the home really accommodates multiple families. We will definitely return. Thank You

Reviewer Comments: Negatives: The pictures were deceiving on the location of the basketball hoop area. Nearby but not at rental house. (Also very low hoops that are not adjustable). We had to call the 1-800# as the hot tub key was not at the property anywhere. (They had it locked) We were supposed to have someone drop a key by for it that same night and no one showed up. We called again the second day and someone did end up bringing the key for use that evening. We were very disappointed in not being able to use the hot tub the first night as this was one of the main selling points on choosing this house. A maintenance person had to come fix one of the toilets during our stay as well. (Not due to our doing). Positives: Walking distance from the beach. Spacious bedrooms Plenty of amenities in the house for use.

The large, gated porch with the ocean view and Adirondack chairs was outstanding. The hot tub was wonderful. Was nice having a front yard, but the advertised fenced yard is actually a fenced grill, hot tub & outside seating area-not a yard where kids could play. The internet was nonexistent & phone connections only reliable in the front yard. The swing set & fire pit were blocks away, even though the photos seemed to show it was very close. When I called to find out how to get to them from the house, the property management person acknowledged it wasn’t walking distance. The basketball court had no hoop. We ended up having a wonderful time, but would have been more satisfied with a more accurate portrayal.

Paying that price point I would hope for better beds that don't wake you up every time you move. In addition the property management just squeezes every $ out of you. The house was not rented before or after us but they required us to pay any early and late check out and those charges kept changing amounts depending who you talked to. The house already is expensive I asked for a discount since it was a last min rental and they had no one booked, no response, I asked for early check in since I was coming from 4 hours away with 4 kids they required extra charge for that and then I believe lied to me when I said why does it need to be charged extra there is no one there to have to clean for they said there was a last minute owner stay, but I do not believe there was since I asked the neighbors. While we loved the house the experience with the management company was not enjoyable.

The space was perfect, the yard was amazing, the view and the smell of the beach was exactly what we needed. We called, and someone was out to reset the hot water heater in a timely manner. The next day someone forgot the key in the house. The office staff was very friendly (even though it was out mistake), and again someone out right away to let us in! The home is within walking distance of the beach, and has a great front porch for relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet. Home is close to a grocery store, casino, and shopping. A great place to stay!!
