Everything was just as described online. Super clean and fully stocked. Greatest Honeymoon destination!!!

Easy to find, nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Problem with door lock had to giggle door to get lock to completely withdraw to let door open. Nicely supplied kitchen. Parking area very muddy so did have a problem with tracked in dirt. Beautiful view!! Entrance a bit confusing, did not realize our entrance was on lower level. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful property right on the ocean, with downtown right there, with all litlle shops and restaurants.

Super great spot for a couples getaway, you can walk to all the shops along the main strip of Depoe Bay and watch the waves roll in from the front door. The only issue we had is it wasn’t clear from the check in email that there are two rentals in the same house, the one we stayed in was on the lower level but had the same address on the email as the upper level. Overall amazing property that we plan to visit again in the future

We chose this house based off location and we were not disappointed! The views were incredible; you can whale watch from your bedroom or living space. The little cafe across the street has the best biscuits and gravy. Only downfall was the bed and bedframe. Very loud and not comfortable. But overall we will happily rent here again!

This home has great views, however, the windows don't open so don't expect to hear the waves.

This property has a very good view and is within a short walk of town. That really made it worth it for us! One thing that wasn't specified online is that it is a basement house, so you go around to the side and there is someone staying above you. This caused some initial confusion, but once figured out wasn't too big of a deal. The bed is really uncomfortable and that was probably the biggest con. The other sleeping options are a pullout couch and pullout chair. They also looked uncomfortable, but our kids didn't seem to mind. They are all in the main living area. Also, if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking, the kitchen is very small, and not well equipped. We mostly wanted a great view this visit with close proximity to downtown Depoe Bay, so for this purpose it was great! Plenty of sitting room and large windows looking out to the sea. We saw lots of whales!

Great place. As close as you can get to the Depoe Bay Harbor Channel!( Actually, a high end hotel called the Channel House is closer). But right on the edge of the rock cliff- up about 4 feet above the raging surf! Saw many bald eagles and harbor seals and grey whales. Loved the distant drone of the bells on the outer buoys. There is a nice bench donated by the 'Marks' family that you can sit on and watch the boats come in and out. We enjoyed the Coast Guard rescue boat that was out patrolling and came back in. Whole place is lovely, lots of extras- they even have a pair of binoculars on the fireplace mantle! We were downstairs (Ground level) - the upstairs is separate and it's entry is off the street- but only a few stairs. We were only there on night. A bit pricy once they add in all the fees- but it seems all prices have gone up since COVID?? The BEST, and I mean the BEST Mexican Restaurant is around the cone rot the north on HWY 101, called the Mazatlán.huge portions and outstanding flavor. Owner, Berdi and his son David ( waiter) are super hosts. The view from the table is right over the water! How did I not know of this place- will be back. Will be back to Gardner House as well. Kitchen was super well stocked! Loved the coffee mini 'frac packs' for the easy to use Mr. Coffee machine. No problem parking our two cars in the driveway. They even supplied two 'Duraflame' type logs for a nice fire ( they do NOT allow any regular firewood by the way. Great palce!

If you smoke anything anywhere anytime, if you pack a pack of smoke or a lighter in your luggage, if you have anything that might even LOOK like it might smoke, you have apparently violated their policies that they won't tell you about until they have your money in their hands. Even in your own car. Even 1 foot off the property line. Just be warned that they are not friendly, despite being within a block of a dispensary in a state with cannabis tourism and legal possession of hard drugs. So tank their business model by reading my review.

A great place I will rent again! The key pad did not properly function and required numerous calls ending with access to the key box. Key box very difficult to put back in. So getting in the house and locking up in the end was very frustrating

This is a wonderful property with beautiful views that accommodates furry friends. My review is only about our dissatisfaction with Meredith property managers. We booked one week in advance of Christmas when family illness changed our plans. A couple days after booking we learned of a treacherous ice storm hitting the area. I looked at the location website to see if we might be able to move our reservation forward 24 hours to avoid the ice in the coastal range. The calendar for the property showed it was in fact vacant the day after we were to check out. So it didn’t look like a problem. Surely the property owners and managers would want to accommodate the safety of their guests if possible. Well that was NOT the case from Meredith Lodging. They REFUSED to move us one day even though the property was vacant the next day. They prioritize PROFITS over the safety of their guests. End result we paid for two nights but only stayed one. Hope the owners are happy with this. We have stayed at vacation properties all over the US and Europe. We have never had this bad of an experience with an unaccommodating host. Buyer beware.

Lovely place to stay for a few days. Views are fabulous! Saw many whales during our stay in October-definite highlight of trip. (Great timing for us). I will say the windows were dirty, especially on the outside. You could tell they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Other than that it was a cozy place for two people and a small dog.

The view is outstanding. You can whale watch from your front room window. With that being said the mattress is not that comfortable, no air co conditioning, bathroom caulking is Mildred in bathroom and house smells of fireplace smoke. If you have asmatha as I do this could be an issue for you. Other than that very convenient and again beautiful view.

Whales every day, all kinds of boats going out to sea from the harbor, pelicans diving into the sea. A magical place.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fireplace and view in addition to quick response from owners for a need. The only bummer was the neighbors upstairs were pretty loud in very early in am both mornings (running and loud walking., banging) so made relaxing in am tougher. We also found an amazing restaurant (Tidal Raves) that also had incredible views and enjoyed nice short walk to bridge to see all the action

This place was exactly as shown in pics. It was such pleasant, delightful, surprise that it was! We drove up and we both had a huge smile immediately on our faces. The view, of course, was incredible. It was clean, inviting, cozy and so very peaceful and relaxing!

Can't beat the view it is really spectacular. Dog friendly is a bonus too. However, the kitchen and bathroom are in serious need of updating. Pots and pans are old and almost unusable. Cabinets do not close all the way. Not enough plates, bowls, etc. The bathtub has white duct tape along the edges, I am assuming to hide the mold! It also leaks! For the amount of money we are charged per a night these updates should be made.

This place was cute, close to downtown, and had a bird's eye view of whales. Just a delightful place to stay.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed being right on the sea front. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which was important since we cooked a lot while we were there. Some improvements: - it would be great to have a washwer/dryer (but these were not advertised as being part of the rental so no problem there) - The carpets were not clean, nor the bathroom - We contacted the management company about some problems with the lights and fact that one of the smoke detectors did not seem to be fully functional. They took our message but no one ever came round to attend to our concerns. - Overall this was a great stay, but given what we were paying, we would have hoped for a spotlessly clean unit (at any price!) and better attention from the management company. I would recommend this unit based on its wonderful location, but take note of the items above.

Would love to go back during storm season. Could sit in the living room and watch the waves crash on the rocks

We loved the amazing view! Wonderful to see the whales spout and the ships. The home was clean and well stocked (no coffee but we brought some). The only issues were the tub didn’t drain well and the mattress was not very comfortable.

Overall this place was terrific, comfortable and impeccably clean. The living room was well-furnished with 2 recliners! The kitchen was well equipped with most gadgets, utensils and small appliances anyone could need. The bathroom was functional, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location could not have been better. It was an easy walk over the bridge to the shops and restaurants in Depoe Bay.
