The house was clean and wonderfully located. We loved the view.

Older property that could use a good cleaning and some fresh paint, new carpets and updates in the bedrooms. Although the kitchen is beautiful and has a lot of nice features and updates it had minimal supplies, pots that looked like they had been used over a campfire, and no sharp knives for cutting things like vegetables. If you’re looking for a large house with a nice amount of bedrooms and bathrooms and don’t necessarily care about aesthetics then this is a great place to stay!

In general the place is nice and has plenty of space. The cleaning crew should be ashamed of the quality of work. Soap scum on shower door, baseboards haven't been dusted in weeks, dust on ceiling fans and registers, there was even a pile of dirt left in the corner of the kitchen. I am not one to want to look for a full reimbursement but I feel that I should not be charged for the cleaning service as it was not clean when we arrived. Hoping the property owner/management will take care of the cleanliness. Other than that home accommodated our needs.

The stay was amazing!!! The beach was amazing. Everything at the house was exactly how the owers said!!! My only complaint was the comforters in the rooms and the mattresses were all dingy and dirty looking. Other than that it was AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for this pleasurable visit!!!!

Great location - great home - great owners = a great customer experience.

The home is well appointed and spacious. Plenty of room for us to be together and enjoy some privacy. It is in a beautiful area and convenient to everything you need. Be sure to checkout the nearby aquarium.

We were expecting to entertain 18-24 people for my sons wedding and hurricane Ian disrupted those plans a bit. Ended up being only 9 of us but the house would have easily held us all for dinner/drinks. Abby and John were gracious and accomadating. Enjoyed the stay!

Very easy check in. A little surprised that sheets, towels, and extra paper products weren't included. But accommodations were spacious and perfect for our family trip with kids and grandkids. Super close to the beach and plenty of parking.

This was a beautiful home and location. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. However, the house was not cleaned well at all. We had to clean when we first arrived.

This property was the perfect place for my family and me! 2 short blocks to the beach, which was our only desire! The rest of the town, and all it had to offer, was just icing on the cake! Only 2 things could have made it better... 1 Perhaps a baby gate at the tops of each set of stairs. 2 A few more kitchen items (measuring cups/spoons, for example). It was a great time though! I would highly recommend this property...but don't contact the owner (whose phone number is on the listing)...keep your communication between yourself and the property manager.

My family and I had a GREAT time renting this property in Kure Beach. We are a big group and struggle to find a property that fits our needs. This one knocked it out of the park. We were comfortable and had our own spaces and didn’t feel cramped when gathering in the common areas. Location was perfect to the beach and boardwalk with shopping and dining only a couple miles away in every direction. We loved it so much we booked again next year! The hosts were easily accessible and answered all questions immediately and were very hospitable. 10/10 trip, already can’t wait for 2023!

This house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 4 kiddos. The location was great and just a short walk to the beach and pier. The house was clean on arrival and the checkin was super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice house and location. Not sure a cleaning crew came in before our arrival. The house had not been vacuumed or toilets cleaned. Dishwasher was full of dishes and there was a large comforter left in dryer. None of these things kept us from having a great vacation.

We had a nice time. House was spacious enough for large family. Close walk to the beach.

I got married at Fort Fisher beach and I used the property for the weekend. There was plenty space to prepare and accommodate my family. Close to Carolina beach and Fort Fisher beach. Abbey and John were responsive and always kind.

This property fit all of needs.

Excellent beach property in Kure Beach. Walking distance to the beach and multiple restaurants/shops. Home itself had an excellent layout, with tons of space for an extended family. Multiple decks, view of the ocean, and spacious living area for hanging out. New renovations to the property were very nice, as you can see the owners are working to improve an older building. Lots of property on this beach are older, so expect some wear and tear, but I would most certainly stay again.

Our host John was kind, communicative and professional! We plan on visiting at least 3 more times this year!

This place was perfect. Plenty of public space and the bedrooms were comfortable. Bare bones kitchen tools and such, but it worked well for us. We also love the location. Close to Fort Fisher. Easy stroll to the beach. Lovely property!

Beautiful house- we had a great time.

Amazing house!! Very spacious, and such pretty views! We celebrated NYE, and the pier on the beach had fireworks which we saw from the deck! Such a nice town to stay in, and beyond there were so nice and location to stores and beach was great!

Fantastic home that offered plenty of space for our family and our young puppy. Super layout on this house and is in very close proximity to the beach and boardwalk. The cleanliness was a little disappointing however. The owners were easy to reach, pleasant and responsive.

The house was very spacious, excellent view of the ocean on the 3rd floor. Love for it to have had a elevator.

Great communication from the owner. The location was great and property was very spacious. The oven had some issues preventing us from cooking our full meal. The hardwoods were recently refinished and looked great but the carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced.

Traveled on a work/holiday retreat with children and the layout was great--beautiful balcony spaces, room to separate and short walk to the beach. We will stay again!!

This property has positive features in terms of where it is located and the number of people it can accommodate. However, it is very dated and it is in need of some ‘TLC’. The one emergent need is the deck on the upper level, in my opinion, is a safety issue. It is visibly sagging in one area and as a result, we didn’t use it the entire weekend which was unfortunate as it had the best views of the ocean. The railing in another area on the same deck is very unstable. When I addressed these specific matters with the property owner, he became somewhat agitated and his response was: ‘...I’m aware of the slope on the deck. I had an engineer look at it and he said it’s sound... I think what happened to make it slope like that is an unusually large person sat in the suspended swing on the deck below and caused the wood to pull away from the upper deck...’ I went on to discuss other issues to no avail. I would not recommend this property unless you are equipped and ready to outfit your home away from home with all your needs right down to salt and pepper!😃. We were aware of having to bring our own linens, but the ‘grills’ and lack of some staple items (I.e., toilet paper and paper towels), was a bit disappointing. It wouldn’t hurt to give this property a deep dive clean as well. We won’t be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend it.

This place perfect for our family get together! We were close to the beach and had plenty of room to spread out.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Kure. The beds were comfy and sleeping options are plentiful. We would bring our own cook wear next time. There wasn't many options for home cooking.

We had a great time. The owners are super responsive and were always available to answer any questions. Kids loved the bunk beds and you can’t beat the location. Just a block away from the ocean. 3 families had a blast and the house was really expansive to accommodate all of us. Expansive deck on the third floor with ocean views was the hang out place. Will visit again next year!

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a vacation! Location of the property was great! A 2 min walk to the beach. A block over from the main beach road! Tones of things you can use for the beach from chairs to umbrellas to toys for the kids! 10/10 in my book! Will definitely look forward to staying/booking again!
