Blue bay villa sol was the perfect match for our 7th stay on curacao. Beautiful setting, walking distance to beautiful beach, located in the middle curacao, with easy access to the quite bays in the west and the bustling beaches in the east. Villa was very spacious and very well equipped for a five adult stay. Happy to return soon

Beautiful Villa Sol is just as pictured. The home is clean and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook breakfast or an evening meal. There’s a small grill was is rare in a rental. We spent most of our time at home on the amazing wrap around porch with comfortable furniture. Having a half bath is a great plus. Great restaurants and a bar by the water and there’s a pool barely a 2 minute walk from the Villa. Our group are in agreement that this was a home we would rent again. If your looking for a resort with your own space Blue Bay is it and we highly recommend Villa Sol for your vacation choice. Thank you for sharing your home with us Lucy and Gord

We had a wonderful stay when we were there for a week in mid-May. The villa was just as described, very comfortable, and conveniently located near the pool and a short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed our time at the beach. The villa was great for our family of four, with several touches that made for a very enjoyable stay. The owners and property manager were awesome, with a smooth process for checking in and out, as well as providing great assistance with questions and recommendations on things to do around the island. It was our first trip to Curacao, and Blue Bay Resort was a great “home base” for exploring the island. With a rental car, it’s easy to get to two large grocery stores nearby, a large shopping mall, a 24/7 gas station, and many food trucks (truki pan) to sample different foods. Willemstad, the beaches on the western end of the island, and the airport are all easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning one day!

The location is west of Willemstsad close to the national parks, but some distance from some of the nice beaches east of Wiilemstad. Biting noseums were a challenge as well as very tiny ants in kitchen. Overall managable. One of the outside deck fans was not working and the AC in the master had a complicated series of entries yo get working. All very fixable and the property manager was engaged so expect all to be fixed by the next stay.

Thank you for making our first visit to Curacao a great one. What a great place. Way more than 2 people need but the rate was in line with much smaller places. Easily could handle 2 couples or a family of 4 or 5. Erica greeted us and was a phone call away. She answered our questions and made us feel at home right off the bat. Kitchen was huge with plenty of utensils, the deck was incredible and a great place to sit and relax. The location is great. Short walk to the beach and a great beach it is. Steps to the pool. You can park close as well but never feel like you have neighbors. Blue Bay is located in a great spot to get anywhere on the island easily. And there is a lot to see on this island. Could easily go on and on but do your research and know that what you see in the pictures hardly does this place justice. Overall a great spot.

Just a couple slightly sour notes: (1) This property allows a $50 credit towards electricity, regardless of length of stay. Had we stayed for 2 separate weeks, we would have been allowed $50/stay = $100. Because we booked one stay for 2 weeks, we still only were allowed the $50 which is nowhere near covering electricity for that length of time. Further, there were only 2 of us...had the property been used for 6 people the electricity charge would be significant. Be aware of this. (2) The property advertised certain things to be included which were not there upon arrival. To the property manager's credit, she provided the missing items but seemed to feel we shouldn't have asked for them. If they aren't to be included, the VRBO listing should be amended.

We really loved the house, the beach, restaurants and staff. Lots of excursions nearby as well as stores and restaurants. Very nice and quiet pool and a very safe area to stay at. Very beautiful area, just absolutely beautiful! Didn’t like that we were only allotted 2 hand towels for the week and only 1 beach towel and 1 bath towel per person for 8 days. We weren’t allowed to wash them either, for some reason. But, we could pay $85 for each of us to have one more 😐.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Appartment. Es ist alles da was man benötigt. Klimaanlagen haben alle funktioniert, Ventilatoren auf der Veranda sind Gold wert. Es war gemühtlich und groß genug. Der Poolbereich könnte etwas gemütlicher sein.

Wij verbleven in villa 39 met 2 volwassenen en onze 4 kinderen. Perfecte luxe villa voor 6 personen met alles wat je maar kunt wensen. De locatie op Blue Bay is perfect, een erg mooi resort met geweldig strand, vriendelijke mensen en gezellige beachbar en restaurant. Één van de mooiste stranden om te snorkelen. Vanuit hier is met een auto het hele eiland makkelijk te verkennen en van te genieten. De host Chrissy zorgde voor een warm ontvangst en duidelijke uitleg, zij was altijd bereikbaar en bereid om te helpen. Lucy en Gord hebben een stukje paradijs op aard. Bedankt

Amazing Island! Property location is perfectly located for all needs. Beaches, food, shopping are all in close vicinity. Very relaxing and quiet area to enjoy some downtime. Home is well equipped with everything you would need to ensure a successful stay. Travel information is provided by the property manager and is easily navigated from this location. An absolute must see Island!

We had a great stay. We appreciated the resort and its location. One suggestion might be to have more island information available to review and an orientation session with the PM would be great. We have been before so knew enough for our purposes. In previous stays having a bit of a chat with the PM makes the best use of our Vacation time. A great week. It was a short walk from the parking so hauling our luggage and dive equipment was easy. I was happy to learn the property mgr, Chrissy, had a food bank lined up for taking our leftover food.

We stayed at Villa 39 at the top of the hill. The villa was as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. The home is well appointed and was comfortable for my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you would need. A quick tip to the grocery store and we were able to get some additional necessities. We loved the beach at Blue Bay, the restaurants were great too, really nice menu choices-Skewers at Azzuro were yummy. The mango smoothie was very good, as well as the iced coffee. We had several lunches and dinners there. The snorkeling was really great, The folks in the dive shop were great too, we rented a paddle board, $15 us dollars for 1 hour, great deal. The kids loved it. The home was very clean, comfy beds and the ac in the bedrooms were great. In the evening we left the doors open to cool off the kitchen/living room. We went over the 50 usage by 20 bucks, not bad. Beautiful place! We Highly recommend it. Thanks Gord and Lucy. Chrissi was helpful too- thanks for arranging the car rental with Andrew. He was great. If you go to other beaches- I highly recommend Porto Marie- the water was really shallow and great snorkeling- we saw the pigs too. KOKOMO was really nice too- love the swing in the ocean. We went to see the turtles - can't remember the beach but great experience. Local man was putting fish in the water to attract the turtles, a little cash tip for his lively hood.

Our 7th trip to Curacao and 3rd time staying at Blue Bay. Blue Bay resort is amazing - quiet, beautiful beach, great scuba diving and snorkeling on site and quick drive to restaurant in Willemstad. The villa we stayed at was clean, quiet and well equipped. Beginning to end top marks.

Villa Sol villa 39 is wonderful!! The perfect place to stay. The villa was so accurately described in its listing, it was like walking into the pictures. We loved everything about this property. The location was really convenient to everything, yet had a nice amount of privacy. We loved spending time on the huge deck which had a wonderful breeze all the time. The villa was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The beach at the property was amazing!! Great snorkeling was just a short walk to the beach from the villa. We also enjoyed swimming at the pool, beach and the snacks at the beach bar. Gord, Lucy and Chrissi are the best! They were so helpful, providing us with great information on the villa, attractions, and all the details we needed to make our vacation perfect. This was our first vacation using VRBO and I was unsure how it would work out. I have to say again it was amazingly wonderful, from start to finish. We could not have picked a better place to stay. The property is very well positioned in a central location to the pool, golf course and a short walk to the beach which is good. It is very well equipped but it would have been nice to have an electric BBQ to use as we saw other units had on their balconies. We understand propane is not allowed. Owners quickly responded and resolved an issue we brought forward which was appreciated. We would definitely recommend this Villa.
