Great place I will recommend

The house, while we were able to make it work, was tight for our group of 20. Because of how the beds have to be fit in to accommodate 20-some people, there was not really a good place for the adults to sit all together in the evenings. Also, the queen bed in the loft room, the mattress cover was dirty, as if people had been sleeping directly on it with no sheet. These are things i just wanted to let you know. We did enjoy our stay and the opportunity to be at the lake together. Everything else was wonderful.

Property was great and exactly as advertised! Hosts were very responsive and took care of the only issue that we had (low water level in the hot tub, which was our fault) immediately. Highly recommend!

It was an excellent destination! Nice, big, ordered, properly accommodated, and accessible. All the utilities easily found (towels, hot tub, grill, kitchen tools, etc.) Fully recommended.

Plenty of room for everyone, love the open kitchen and dining room, and a great spot on the lake.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. The young people enjoyed jumping/swimming off the dock. The paddleboat and kayaks were used by all. The walk to the dock was gentle. The house had a lot of room suitable for the various activities and age groups. The house did not appear to have been cleaned very well prior to our arrival to the point of dirty dishes being put in cabinets. A suggestion would be to have a few pages of general information laid out in a public place in the house (check-out instructions; trash pick-up; etc).

We had a great time, the kayaks, paddleboats, and dock gave the kids plenty of opportunity to have a good time. The basement apartment was perfect for privacy.

Our 4 sons and their families had not all been together for 5/6 years - with many additions to our family since that time. It was so nice to be allowed on the property after 1, so the kids could get in the water while we waited for the cleaners to finish. Sunshine Daydream was the perfect place for such a large group to reunite. The secluded cove location was great (close to grocery, restaurants and rental amenities), and more Importantly - lakeside - -complete with dock, covered gazebo, paddle boat, kayaks, and life jackets. The playground, sand box, fire pit and hot tub were added treats! There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 13 children: packNplays could fit in 4 of the 6 sleeping areas. The yard was big enough for us to add a nice size inflatable pool for the 6 cousins under 3. There was plenty of room to gather, both inside and outside, for all age groups. The shade from the trees was a great relief. Having 3 refrigerators was very much appreciated!! As in any 3 level home, it was difficult maintaining the right temperature for everyone. In order to cool the upper loft area, the lower level was like a walk-in cooler. Our biggest concern, however, were the railing pickets on the stairway, loft area, and even some outside deck posts that were too far apart and not up to code. We suggest adding protective netting, if too difficult to physically correct. Luckily, we brought an extra wide gate, but needed to close off the loft area - which didn’t help with keeping it cool. We did appreciate the extra fans upstairs. All in all, we would definitely return, and were pleased that VRBO did not have Covid occupancy restrictions! PS. Remember to send the text message to the linen company before you close the door! 🤦‍♀️ Thank you, Jake, for answering all our questions. You were a very supportive host.

This is a very spacious property. The owner was very responsive to our needs. There's a nice hot tub, and dock for you to load your own boats and Jetski. Staying there gave me more campy vibes (in a good way) so the beds aren't the comfiest and the comforters aren't the thickest. but overall good place.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! Plenty of separate bedroom areas so each family group had its own space, and the common areas worked beautifully. We especially appreciated the double fridge, great pantry space, and kids' plates in the kitchen! The outdoor space was wonderful and we enjoyed the kayaks (thanks for providing all the different-sized life jackets!), sandbox area, swing set, and hot tub. (Note: the little kids did find a couple of pieces of broken glass in the sandbox.) We definitely plan to stay here again - maybe next summer!

We had a great time at the property! The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Any issue was promptly dealt with. We had a power outage in the entire area one evening and Jake kept us informed and updated of the status of the estimate power recovery time. We have no complaints.

This house is perfect for large groups. Lots of parking space. Lake view is amazing! House is well stocked and linens are provided! This was our second stay and I’m sure we will return!

We originally booked Sunshine Daydream for April 2020 but unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic. We booked again for this past weekend and received a partial credit from our cancelled booking. Our group of 11 had a wonderful time at the house. We made good use of relaxing in the outdoor areas and eating on the deck. Having a double fridge in the main floor kitchen allowed plenty of space for groceries and snacks. The house was very spacious with many beds, which allowed us to spread out. While clean linens were bagged on each bed, the blankets were not. In checkout we were instructed to bag the linens and towels in laundry bags but not the blankets, which made us think that the blankets are not laundered often/ from stay to stay. Regardless, we appreciated Jake's quick responses and had a good time. Highly recommend renting a pontoon boat at Dukes Creek Marina to fish and enjoy the waters on the public side.

Very nice property. House was very spacious giving the six of us our own space but also with lots of spaces to share. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub.

Nice place. Older house but comfortable and quiet lots of room for kids and pets to run and play and swimming off the private pier was a lifesaver. Having a private boat launch was awesome. Plenty of dishes and well stocked.

It desperately needs a face lift. It didn't detract from the festivities, but for this price, bathrooms need updating and outside needs paint and repair. Otherwise, 5 star all the way around. Host was accommodating for early check-in. House was comfortable. Everyone really enjoyed the weekend. Thank-you.
