Beautifully positioned on the river and everything you need to feel at home. Walking distance to everything and can tube (in low water) right to the back door.

We had a good stay at this duplex on the river. Overall, the place was very nice. A few things could have been cleaner- there were some dusty fixtures in the master bath and cobwebs and dust in the master bedroom. Pretty minor stuff, though. We were without internet for the first couple of days due to an internet outage, and Lindsay, the owner, was very responsive to texts and communicated well with us. The place was well-stocked and we especially loved the decks and proximity to the river. We usually just left our car parked in the garage and walked into town, which we loved. The beds were good except for the pull-out sofa down in the basement. That mattress wasn't very good, so my son just left it folded in and slept on the couch instead. We also couldn't find sheets to use on that bed, so that wouldn't have worked anyway. Well-stocked kitchen. Great stay overall and would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

I didn’t realize until after I booked the place that it didn’t have air conditioning, won’t lie, that was fairly intimidating for us being from middle Tennessee and booking our stay in mid July. To my surprise the indoor temperature was never an issue. The garage had plenty of room for our truck, Lindsay supplying the garage door remote made coming and going super convenient. The place was very clean, had plenty of extra blankets, and everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. Lindsay was super easy to contact and very accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This home is perfect for two to six people. The super clean house, spacious layout, charming decor, proximity to town, convenient garage, privacy, and well-stocked kitchen and baths make it the best vacation home at which we’ve stayed. And the River is right at the back decks! We enjoyed watching the rafters as well as just looking and listening to it roll by. Lindsay is a fabulous host and the pride in her work shines through. We’ve already booked for next year!

Everything we needed was in the condo! The balconies were peaceful places to listen to the Arkansas River flowing. Walking distance to town. Very comfortable beds & furniture. Highly recommend staying here!

I usually stay at a friend's property in Salida, but wasn't able to this time. I chose this house knowing that it's in a great location. You can easily walk to downtown (I recommend taking the trail along the river!). It was much too cold for us to dip our feet into the river, but the property has stairs leading right to the water's edge which would be wonderful on a hot summer day. The house layout and cleanliness were great. We'll be staying here again!

The home is lovely. Perfect location for walking to town. The hot tub was great. A few inconveniences, no paper towels, the towels are dark and have a mildew smell.

This Salida condo has everything you need to spend a wonderful time in the mountains.It is like walking into a home not just a rental unit.The views are beautiful, it's a short walk to town and hiking trails.The kitchen is well stocked allowing you to cook whatever you desire.Thos is a beautiful place and I hope to revisit it soon.

I loved this house! Incredibly comfortable and well-stocked, this house was a dream getaway. We loved the kitchen and 3 balconies, and of course we loved the hot tub. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

This is our second time staying at this property, absolutely love it! Can’t beat the location to downtown and the peaceful serenity of the river running behind the 3 gorgeous decks. Highly recommend this property! We’ll be back for sure!

this property is beautiful, spacious, clean, and well equipped. it was a short walk to restaurants and shopping in historic salida. but the best feature is the view of the arkansas river and valley. it is literally right out the back door - the hot tub overlooks it and you will look out over it when you wake up in the master bedroom. highy recommend.

Everything was perfect and amazing river views!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this beautiful property and we hope to make it an annual trip. The rental is well-maintained with all of the amenities we could need for a weekend away. The location is amazing with the views of the river and mountains, and close proximity to downtown (short walk).

We had such a wonderful time staying here! It fit us absolutely perfectly, was so conveniently located, and was incredibly well stocked and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back.

We met up with some long time friends in Salida to mountain climb and relax. The rental was ideal for both, a highlight was the patio hot tub with river vistas. We will definitely stay again when we visit Salida again.

We really enjoyed staying here with riverfront views, well stocked kitchen, luxurious furnishings and a great location/access to the downtown area for our family's wedding at The Steamplant Event Center. I'd stay here again, definitely!

Location, Location, Location!!! Walk to town, relax on the river, spacious rooms, great deck spaces, wonderful art. PSA, no air conditioning. While that is common in the area and it does not advertise as being air conditioned, there has been a bit of a hot streak and we were surprised by the lack of air for the price point.

Awesome place

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and three teenage children. The property itself is beautiful, pristinely kept, and has anything you might need. The layout allowed our kids and us the space to spread out and relax without being on top of each other. The location was awesome. We walked into the charming town of Salida each morning for coffee and spent time in the shops. We hiked and spent time on the river (my 14 year old was thrilled to fish each day). My kids found paths to do daily runs around the town followed by a soak in the hot tub! This is our first trip to Salida and we would love to return and stay at this property.

We were in Salida for a large, family destination wedding. One of my main criteria from judging a rental property is how well the description matches reality. In this case, the owner's probably undersell their home. The location was convenient to town (5-7 minute walk) and was directly on the river as shown. You could (and we did) walk out from the lower deck directly into the river for dip. The hot tub on the lower level is one of the nicer ones I have seen. Did I mention the bedrooms upstairs are HUGE! Our daughter's room had two queen beds and there was still lots of floor space. The master suite has a very comfortable King bed and a desk to help keep organized. I am sure it was in the description, but being from OH we were initially surprised that the unit didn't have AC. Once we opened up the windows and let the cool night air in, it was very comfortable. They also have fans in the bedrooms in addition to the ceiling fans. We had everything we needed. If we go back to Salida, we would definitely look to rent this home again.
