The lower apartment was especially helpful for our infant! Quiet and separate from all the house activity!

The beach house is beautiful and extremely well equipped. We were a really short walk to the beach which is beautiful. The washing machine and dryer were a godsend - we used them every day for the towels and bathing suits. The decks were also used constantly - you can see the ocean and they were a perfect place for a glass of wine. The appliances were all top of the line. We are already planning our next vacation there!

This home was beautiful and in a wonderful location to the beach. However , it became clear to us within the first day of being there that there was a cockroach infestation. We contacted the owner and she sent someone out immediately to spray for us, unfortunately that did not help the issue. We were there for 5 nights and in that time killed over 30 very large roaches. Sadly, one of the couples decided to leave the trip early because of the amount in the bedroom they were staying in. Again, Samantha was very attentive to the issue and did try to help any way she could. But the home has an infestation that made all of us very scared to even go to our beds at night.

This house and location was a dream for a friends long weekend. The quick walk to the semi-private beach made it so convenient, as did the parking pass to allow us to drive coolers/chairs/tents over. The house was clean, tidy, and big enough for a large group to spread out. The deck and roof deck was great in the mornings and evenings, while the beds were comfortable and the house came with plenty of towels. For the price, unbeatable!

We had a girls weekend getaway and this house and location was absolutely perfect!! It was a quick walk (a block) to the gorgeous & private beach, where we spent most of the weekend! There is a parking pass at the house for the private parking lot, so we loaded all of the chairs, coolers, etc. in the car and parked it there for the day. The house had a bunch of chairs and beach towels for us to use, which was great since a lot of us flew in from out of state. The house itself was clean & spacious and is perfect for a larger group, or even if you had multiple families. The open kitchen/dining/living area was great because we could all be together and there was plenty of space, we weren't crammed at all. The deck and roof deck was perfect for us to have happy hour and watch the sunset. It was a quick ride (or bike ride) to restaurants and the downtown area. Samantha was absolutely amazing and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly! I would absolutely recommend this property--we'll be back again!

Enjoyable experience, short walk to beach.

This was a fantastic location for our family vacation. There were enough rooms for everyone and we could spend time together in the common areas on the top floor. The house is close enough to the beach that you can just walk to the private community entry even with kids and the beach is very clean and family friendly. The house is 3 stories, beautifully decorated, and updated. The home owner feedback through phone or message through VRBO is very fast which is appreciated. We will definitely be looking to book this house again in the future.

We just had the most amazing time staying at this house! It was perfect for our group of 11 people. The upper floor was an open area- ideal for hanging out as a group and all of the rooms are on lower floors which was nice if some people wanted to go to sleep before others. The yard was perfect for playing can jam and corn hole and spending time in the sun. The rooftop deck had the most incredible view of sunsets and the ocean, and the ocean was the quickest walk away and the shed had chairs, umbrellas, and even a nice cart to get it all there. Sam, the host, was very responsive with her messages and even helped with recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. We will never forget this cute house and all of the amazing memories we made there! Grateful for the experience.

Pleasant trip, much needed stay

We had such a nice visit at this house. The weather wasn’t the best but games and amenities in house kept us busy. Plenty of room to spread out and rooftop deck is purely amazing! Communication with host great. We’ll definitely visit again!

Turning lemons into lemonade during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a family, we decided that if we were going to work from home and attend school from home, we might as well do it at the beach for a few days.After scouring VRBO, searching for the right spot, I sent messages to several owners asking a question not often worried over when planning a vacation to the beach: internet speed (crucial if both my wife and I and our two kids were going to be online all day).The owners got back to us quickly and assured us that we would have no issues working from the house.Now, with that out of the way... this is a great place! The house is roomy, clean, modern, easily accommodates families, and has the bonus of beautiful views from the rooftop viewing platform (something few other homes in the area have).There is a LARGE closet with beach "toys" such as boogie boards, skim boards, floats, etc.I highly recommend this location... we'll be going back!

Bring your beach clothes and your food and relax! It’s a very short walk to a private beach access and everything you need is there!

Perfect size for us

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property in Kure Beach. It was in a great location (less than a 2 minute walk to the beach) and the property had great amenities. Would definitely stay here again in the future!!

Well maintained beach house and very convenient to beach access . Would not hesitate to rent again. One only needs to bring their personal items because everything else is supplied. Our stay was way to short!

We took a week long vacation, and this home was perfect for our family (6 adults, 4 kids). The location is very convenient to the beach and local town, and there was more than enough space for everyone. Would definitely rent again!

We loved this place! We had 7 adults and 4 kids and it was the perfect amount of space! It was awesome that there were so many amenities that we literally only had to bring food and clothes. The kids and adults enjoyed the games, the views from the deck, and the very short walk to the beach! The house is tastefully updated, but still friendly and beachy! The notes and labels were very useful! Thanks for having a wonderful place for us to stay on our "family"moon!
