If you've been searching trying to find the best place to stay that is right by the beach, dog friendly and extremely clean, stop right now and book this place. Consider this review to be the sign you were looking for! 😂 We loved Rodanthe so much better than the northern end of OBX where all the touristy stuff is. We were blown away by how clean this place was... Literally the cleanest rental we've ever stayed! The sheets and pillows were so nice and they provided tons of towels with no extra charges like some rentals do. We could see the Rodanthe Pier & the ocean from the deck. The house is just a few steps from the beach and it's on a nice dead end street so there is no traffic at all to worry about. There are no big hotels or anything around to make the beaches crowded. We had the beach to ourselves most days. They had beach toys and chairs to use and a nice rinse off station and outdoor shower/bathroom area too. The kitchen was great with everything we could need. There was tons of seating around the big table and bar area. The dryer and washing machines were top notch top and made me realize I need to upgrade my home machines! We also loved having an electronic code to lock and unlock the house so that we didn't have to keep up with a key. They even let us pick our own code. The house was close to good restaurants and even a local pizza place with free delivery. We're so thankful that we found this Aloha house and will definitely be back in the future.

I rented this home out for short get away. This home is perfect for a short get away with friends. Super close to restaurants, great location ti the beach and pier. The weather did not cooperate with us but we still had a great time and is big enough for our crew of friends. I would recommend this house to anyone

We loved the cabin- very tidy and had everything required. Fun to walk the beach and talk with the speckled trout fishermen. It was a perfect retreat, a great restorative.

Wrap around ramp provides access for those who can’t take the stairs. Deck accommodates outdoor meals. Interior is functional and classic beach house.

The experience was wonderful and the owner went way beyond expectation. The house is super cute and very close to the beautiful beach. Everything you would need, or forgot is there!

Aloha house was a great place for our stay! It was well-equipped, super comfortable beds and had a great view with quick access to the beach…..just walk to the end of the street. My son only wanted to shower in the outdoor shower!We loved it and will be back!

Great beach access.

The property was exactly as described, everything was clean and comfortable. (mattress in the room with the orange floor is amazing for those with bad backs!) The proximity to the beach was great. The weather was perfect, so we had bonfires on two nights. I would suggest grocery shopping prior to arrival, if possible. The Food Lion in Avon is a good 30 minute drive. The kitchen’s layout and sleek design made for enjoyable nights cooking together as a group. Also, Tami is the most responsive host I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with! We hope to return for another stay!

This was our second time at Aloha House. We will be back. The location is great. Two minute walk to the beach, ten to the pier and five minute drive to everything else. Quiet and private (relatively speaking; it IS the beach, after all). The house was is well appointed and well laid out. Spacious, pretty and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. Everything was in good repair The amenities were amazing. Everything, and I mean everything we needed was there. All the way down to a lighter for the grill and dog toys. Tami is an exceptional and gracious host who obviously cares about her guests. Communication was excellent throughout.

This place made our first trip to Outer banks perfect for our family of 7 aged 70-4 years old. Located very conveniently next to the beach, stocked with everything you need for a home-cooked meal and communication with the property manager was easy and prompt. We look forward to come back soon.
