We will be back! Awesome location close to everything. Bungalow was a gem. All the needed amenities in a quaint package that is perfect for a getaway in Beaufort and surrounding areas. Within a block or two you have several nice restaurants, museum, night spots and ferry’s to other islands. Well done!

We have been to Beaufort many times, but this time we decided not to stay in a hotel and instead try a VRBO. We are so glad we did! This little bungalow was perfect! Clean, very short walk to Front Street, nicely updated and furnished, and all the amenities you need! And the host was so nice too! We will be back!

Loved being in the heart of Beaufort where we could explore on foot or bike. The Bungalow is perfect — all you need to bring is your own clothes and toiletries. All else is provided!

This is a perfect little cottage. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was a perfect combination of adventure and leisure. We read on the porch (my favorite spot). Took day trips. Easily walked to everything in town. The cottage was clean. The neighbors were friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

This little bungalow was beautifully appointed; spacious bedroom, welcoming front porch to greet the morning, with pub-grub, elegant dining, and live local music all in walking distance. Kitchen space is tight but everything is there that you need. Dining is outside but the tv trays help in a pinch. Absolutely charming, with a wonderfully responsive host.

The bungalow had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing New Years weekend - and the location is perfect for everything in Beaufort.

This cottage was the perfect home for our Thanksgiving getaway. We loved every minute of our stay - our friends stayed down the road at the Beaufort Hotel but kept saying they wished they had found this cottage before we did! The home has everything you need in one small, gorgeous package. And, a one minute walk from Front Street topped it all off. Thank you so much for opening this property to let everyone enjoy it. It made our holiday trip everything we dreamed of.

Our stay in Beaufort was made so much nicer by staying in this charming bungalow. Tucked away behind a historic house, this property is just a short walk to Front Street in downtown Beaufort and is the perfect location while you enjoy all the town has to offer. While there, we enjoyed walking on the waterfront, doing some Christmas shopping and taking a water tour of Taylor’s Creek. The bungalow is exactly as pictured and we loved having our lunch on the front porch each day while enjoying the sunshine. The bed was very comfortable and we slept undisturbed each night. Steve was very responsive to any of our inquiries and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Beaufort.

Steve was a pleasure to deal with. Check in was easy and convenient when we arrived in town. Steve checked in with a phone call that evening to make sure all was well and we ran into him a couple times when we were heading out and he was happy to offer suggestions for the area. The home was exactly what we needed featuring a living area and kitchen which provided everything we needed to prepare our own meals at night. The bungalow backs up to Historic Beaufort and provided a quiet and secluded setting. It's also only a block from the waterfront, so we were able to go down and catch sunset and explore some of the shops along Front Street. It also allowed us to explore the town of Beaufort by foot and visit many of the historic buildings in town. The location was also convenient for our various day trips to Harkers Island so we could take the ferry to Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks. We also drove over to Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle to explore some of the beaches and attractions there. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again.

This sweet little guest cottage is the perfect spot to explore Beaufort or neighboring towns/beaches. It's impeccably decorated and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay! It was so fun to be able to walk to anything in Beaufort within minutes. We felt like locals - if only for a few days! Would comeback in a hearbeat - in fact, we didn't want to leave!

The Bungalow has everything we needed and then some! The location is perfect for wandering all about downtown Beaufort and never having to move the car. It's tucked in behind some beautiful historic homes. Quiet location with a perfect porch to sit and enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast! Steve is just the nicest person. We've long loved Beaufort but I think we have found our new "go to" location for all future trips!!

1st full day had a lot of rain but we did manage to get some walks in around raindrops to include a visit to the cemetery and a great lunch around the corner at Beaufort grocery. Second day sun was out but ferry’s weren’t running - but Morehead had a seafood festival - worked out fine! Our host generously offered to allow us to stay for one more day. Great location very nice rental and very well equipped - AA+

This thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated bungalow is the best we have ever stayed in. If you are looking for a quiet private place while being very close to the waterfront, restaurants and town, this is perfect.

The bungalow is beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the use of space is ingenious. Steve and Gail are wonderful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. A very peaceful location but right in the heart of Beaufort.

Beautiful bungalow, lovely decor and amenities, great king size bed, very clean on a private street walking distance to the charming town of Beaufort. Steve was super friendly and helpful, bikes were provided upon request which I suggest to really get a feel of the area. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing cottage in Beaufort!! It was perfect for the two of us and we really appreciated that it had a king size bed. The cottage sits on the back of the property behind the main house and another small cottage and felt very private. We will definitely stay here again! Owner was very helpful.
