Great location especially having own jetty and easy access to property with boat. Children love wandering down to lake for a swim and kayak. We have spent about 9 Easter’s at Trout Wood.

We stayed for my daughter’s wedding. 9 adults and a baby. Having areas split up, upstairs and downstairs and three bathrooms was very convenient for us. Lovely view over the lake.

Lots space for everyone, and great to be able to keep the boat in the lake for easy use!

We had a lovely time at Trout Woods, perfect location and the house was great for us and extended family. We loved watching all the water action from the deck and so handy having a jetty at the end of the lawn, fabulous

Was a great bach for my husband and his fishing buddies. The jetty was well sheltered for tying up the boat. Hopefully will be back for opening of trout season.

Perfect for our family group and everything worked well if I had a minor issue it was the pillows are past thier use by date but we had taken our own anyway.

We had a great stay. The kids enjoyed kayaking on the lake and it had great space for 2 families to stay and not be on top of each other.

We booked this Bach for our friends to stay in when attending our Son’s wedding.
They all enjoyed the lakefront proximity to our Bach.

Such a great place to stay! We loved every bit. The house was perfect for our family and kids. Having 3 separate bathrooms really gave us our own individual spaces.
Perfect having the jetty out the front that we could see from the house, we had 2 boats tied up there.
Great stay, plenty of space and a sizeable lawn for the kids!
Will definitely stay there again.

Have enjoyed this property over the years, unfortunately the owners have now taken our holiday dates. so we will have to move on to somewhere else.

Beautiful property right beside lake for swimming and walks to playground. Plenty of space inside for extended family with young children. Easy to use kitchen & multiple bathroom facilities. Ideal location for support of Tarawera multisport event.

This is a first class property. We found it in very clean condition. The instructions provided by the manager were clear and concise. A very well appointed property that has a bit of everything. We had an awesome and relaxing week with great weather.

Master bedroom and lounge of house were great. Not ideal if you have small children and plan to have them in upstairs rooms as this is only accessible by outside stairs.

It is a very specious, cozy and well equipped holiday house with everything you need for an exciting family holiday. It is right at the lakefront, has it's own jetty and kayaks and there are plenty of things to do. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay and would love to come back. Our kids rated it as the best holiday house we have stayed so far at Lake Tarawera.

Excellent lakeside property positioned in a sheltered bay (except from Northerly winds) with good boat jetty, Well set up with seperate bedrooms and bathrooms, ideal for couples or groups, or families with children. Comfortable, with lenty of space to relax with well maintained equipment and facilities and large north facing deck. Top spot.

Had a great stay by the lake. Beautiful views & lovely with the fire going inside. Even had the fire made ready to light for when we arrived.
Only 15 mins from Rotorua so perfect if you plan on doing all the tourist activities.
