Very comfortable, clean, well-equipped house close to the beach and good cafes and restaurants nearby.

The house is in a great location. Plenty of space and we loved the pool. We had grandparents, adult children and our grandchildren. A great time was had by all. This was our 4th annual October trip. I would recommend this house for anyone staying in the area.

Being so very close to the ocean and wonderful beach was a bonus...but we loved the house with it's just right pool...Heater didn't work all the time but the pool guy was available on Sunday and beyond. House was just right for 7 adults and a kindergartner! All family and we loved it! Hope to come again next year.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is just steps from the beach, a close walk to shops, and a perfect retreat for a beach loving family. Wayne and his wife were fabulous hosts and checked in on us regularly. We couldn’t of asked for a better spot!

Our second year at this house. Have really enjoyed its comfort and its easy access to the beach. Would stay there again, but our family continues to expand with spouses and grandchildren so we need more beds.

Just wrapped up a wonderful stay with two families at this great house. Perfect location steps from the beach and close to Coligny. Plenty of room to spread out and relax and we enjoyed evenings in the secluded backyard with plenty of shade. The owners were responsive to a couple of questions and the check-in couldn’t be easier. Nice layout of the home with en-suite bedrooms on each end. We will be back for sure. Thank you for sharing your home.

Loved the location. Pool was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need to cook great meals. But the kitchen cabinets and countertops could use some tlc.

This house was so convenient to the beach, a simple 100ft walk. We loved the one story house for kids the next week for some older challenged seniors ( couple steps in the living area). Owner was great in being available. Pool was loved by all.

We have stayed here often in the last 10 years. The owners are excellent to work with and very accommodating.

We absolutely loved everything about this house. The owners personally called me to make sure our stay was going good. I had there personal phone number is there has been a problem I felt confident I could have called. We had no problems. We way overpacked because I’m used to bringing all kinds of things I need that are not in the home, but not this home. You don’t need pool toys or beach toys or a cooler or a wagon. They even have a beach canopy which we didn’t even use but I found it the last day when I was checking under beds to make sure my kids didn’t leave any socks or toys Around. They are all there. The kitchen is perfectly stocked. The oven is a small one so take note of that. It cooked beautifully though. The home was a great 1 minute walk to the beach, a 15 minute walk to coligny, a 5 minute bike ride. This location is far enough away from coligny area that it was super private beaches. There were a few days that we were the only family out there. But it was close enough to walk to get ice cream or to shop. The pool was amazing in the middle of May without it being heated. The back yard was a dream. The screened in porch was perfect when the pesky mosquitos came out in the evenings. Or to sneak out and have coffee on in the mornings while it’s still dark to read your Bible and start your amazing day. The grill worked great. The outside shower had hot water. I can go on and on. We hope we can stay here again in the future Lord willing. The only con I’d I wish they would leave a few more trash bags, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods. They left 3 of each but we stayed for 7 nights with 11 people so I had to run out And buy more of those things. I wish I would have known there would only be 3 I would have brought them from home and saved $50 from having to buy them on the island. But even with that tiny inconvenience, it was the perfect home for our Family. Thank you so much!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had 8 adults and had plenty of room. The house is very comfortable with plenty of seating. The beach is such an easy walk and just beautiful! We rented bikes which I feel is a “must have” even if you haven’t been on a bike in years. The shopping plaza has nice stores and delicious restaurants and only a short bike ride away. We spent many mornings and afternoons at the private pool. This was our first time in Hilton Head and we absolutely loved it and are already talking about our next trip to this home. We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 40 years. We have stayed in some fancier places, but I have to say this one was the nicest.

The house was perfect for two families. We loved the house, floor plan, and it had new furniture upgrades that were not featured in the listing. The kitchen had all the needed dishes and appliances. The outdoor space features several sitting areas and we opted to heat the pool which was worth it for April. 1/2 block to the beach and 5 minutes to Coligney made the house a perfect location. The owners were very friendly and available for any questions. We would definitely rent again and look forward to our next trip in this home.

The property was as described. It was a very nice location: just steps to the beach and walking distance for shopping. It had everything we needed for the perfect beach vacation. We would definitely stay again.

Weather wS perfect. Close to lots of activities. Teens were able to bike for shopping and other activities. Close to the beach. Yes would go again but will probably choose a place that allows dogs.. Our dogs would have loved coming with us.

This beach home was perfect for our family! It was just steps away from the beach, yet close enough to Coligny Plaza and Beach. We could decide to be around others or retreat to our own piece of paradise. The kitchen was smaller than we are used to, but who is there to cook?? Not us!

The property is as advertised. Excellent use of space with plenty of room for guests and then some. The house is basically 3rd tier from the beach so it's a super short walk away. You can hear the surf from the house. It may not sound like a lot but we were extra appreciative of the care that was taken to ensure there were not only enough towels but there was also enough toilet paper, trash bags, etc to set us up for long into our week. We enjoyed the neighborhood, the house, smart tvs, and most importantly the minimal stroll to the beach which was our main goal for the week. Unfortunately we had unusually cold weather from the Christmas storms otherwise we'd have been enjoying the yard and lanai a lot more. We love Hilton Head Island and will definitely stay here again especially when we have family and friends joining us. Wayne is a great host as well!

It is our tradition to try to meet every Thanksgiving at various beach locations. This year we chose Hilton Head Island. This home was mere steps to the beautiful ocean. This house is unique in how it is set up, but it allowed room for the three married couples as well as the 13 year old grandson to have their own bedroom and space. It was rather chilly, so we did not take advantage of the pool, but it was very nice out back with the waterfall noise providing a nice sound backdrop. Our communications with the owners were positive and of course as with any home there were certain things we would have changed, but all in all we had a fantastic week together.

We found the place to be very convenient and close to shopping and the beach. Everyone enjoyed the stay.

The vacation rental was just as it was in the picture- plenty of space for everyone. The beach was so close, the pool was such a plus for the kids. There is a table that could seat all of us at night to eat, talk or play cards. We had one small challenge with the pool and we contacted Wayne and he was right on it. We all felt very comfortable with the house, we felt at home. Thankful to find this gem! We hope to be back. Thank you so much!

Just spent 2 great weeks @ 21 Jacana Street, albeit a visit from storm Ian on the back end. Definitely one of our favorite vacation spots on HHI having vacationed there for over 25 years. So close to beach, just steps away, cozy, comfortable, home, had everything our family needed. Homeowner Wayne was very responsive with questions answered in a timely manner. Will definitely plan on staying @ this property again. 5 Stars for sure.

We were recommended this property through friends of ours who used to own a home on Jacana and it did not disappoint at all! Mr. and Mrs. Booker are excellent hosts, and this house is more than adequate for the needs of any family. The beach is literally a 30 second walk away, the neighborhood is quiet with little to no outside traffic, and we found the local area to be ripe with entertainment and places to eat. The hosts were more than responsive to any questions that we had which, in my opinion, is the most important aspect when we have rented any property in the past. The pool is an absolute added benefit for the children, and we literally sat/talked/had our meals in the back screened porch any other time that we were not otherwise on the beach or sightseeing the island. The beach was extremely quiet and we saw only a handful of other families that were renting other nearby houses. Hilton Head and this location was one of the best places we have ever visited. Thanks for such a great vacation!

The layout and location of this house was just perfect for our family vacation. The distance from the beach and the shops at Coligny really make it stand out!

The house and location were wonderful. Short walk to beach and shopping and dining an easy walk or bike ride away, only 0.5 miles. Hosts responded quickly to all questions.

This is a wonderful place close to the beach and off the beaten path so it's quiet (mostly - there were a couple of families that drove to the beach on golf carts beeping their horns the entire time down the road). Lovely pool in the back yard. Some updates could be had on the place but nothing serious. Would definitely stay again.

This is my family's second summer staying at this house! It is lovely - great location, close walk to beach, nice pool, screened-in porch. It was a great set up for my small extended family to reconnect and relax.

Our family loved this spot. So close to the beach, easy bike ride to Coligny, quiet neighborhood and plenty of room to spread out. There were 5 adults and 2 teenagers. There was room for more. The kitchen is small, but fully equipped. We take turns cooking, so that worked for us. Lots of extra beach chairs, cooler, and wagon to haul stuff to the beach if you like. We’d definitely go there again.

The location of this property is its best feature. Just steps to the beach. The backyard and pool were great. Our family has enjoyed staying in the north forest beach area of Hilton head the past several years.
