The accommodation was absolutely fantastic, beautiful house, everything clean, large room, comfortable beds, plenty of space for suitcases and clothes, lovely big terrace with afternoon sun. Bathroom big, hot water, towels, soap, everything you need. Great breakfasts, plenty of fruit, cheese, ham, different pastry every day, sweet bits and especially fresh orange juice. The owner is so nice and welcoming, we didn't want to leave. Capelas is almost in the middle of the island, at the narrowest point, about 15mins drive to the airport, close to a natural swimming pool, lots of excellent restaurants and supermarkets in the town. We would stay again.

A bit of damp smell when entering the property and the room but I assume humidity is a common problem here in Azores.

The staff was extremely helpful and the house was beautifully decorated. It was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The garden is beautiful too. The shared bathroom was always super clean and always free when needed.

With a packed schedule adventuring the island, it was so great to know that you'd never start the day on an empty stomach. The inclusive breakfast was delicious and fresh - especially orange juice! The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The staff was always helpful and kind.

Beautiful setting, great breakfast, tea and fresh fruit available for the guests in the evenings. Excellent, helpful staff. A minor inconvenience with the hairdryer was immediately addressed. Thank you, Beatriz & team, for a lovely stay!

Everything was really perfect.

Everything was perfect. The room is large and clean, as well as the balcony (we had garden view), there was hot water in the shower without any interruptions which is very important for us. The house is a bit far from main sights, but it was not a problem as we had a car.

This stay was most probably the best I've ever had! Excellent and peaceful location, very clean and spacious room, too many options when it comes to breakfast. Furthermore, staff was super helpful, especially Beatriz. She was always and immediately responding to all our questions and favors! If I ever go back to this place, will definitely choose the same stay!

The space was lovely, very accommodating with complimentary breakfast and on site laundry. Such lovely service!

Breakfast was really good, nice Garden.. Amazing value! We even met the chickens :) they live in a corner of the HUGE garden. Kind Staff/owner. You won't regret it.

It's a bit loud with the street (not too bad, we slept really well), the bathroom had a bad smell... And the light in the bathroom is extremely bright, which actually seems to be common on the Azores ;)

Solar Pontes was the perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon. Spacious, immaculate rooms, beautiful garden view, great breakfast and super-friendly staff. We just got home, but I already miss the days we spent there.

Very spacious room and bathroom, big glass doors and terrace with wiev to the garden. Breakfast was "american style". There were various breads (toast, white buns) and pastries, oats, various spreads (jams, peanut butter, butter, honey, chocolate spread), plate with cheeses and salami, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fried potato paties, milk, yogurts, coffee, tea, fruits (oranges, apples, kiwis, pears), water. There was also freshly squeezed orange juice available.

At the breakfast I missed some healthier options like wholewheat bread (not the toast kind), rolled oats and seeds.
