Very nice house.. most comfortable beds.. had everything we needed.

This house is conveniently located and the views are amazing. The house is very clean and beds comfortable. There are some surprises which are not reflected in many other reviews. The bathrooms are very lacking. The bathroom with the best shower does not have a mirror nor power point easily accessible. The mirror instead is over the toilet and the powerpoint we didnt find. It also has an external door, which is convenient for the beach but the door isn't sealed properly so the room is constantly occupied by mosquitoes. The other bathroom which does have a nice basin and mirror has one powerpoint positioned so high it took the full length of the electric toothbrush cable to be able to place it on the bench. The difficulty with this bathroom was an unenclosed, very small shower recess which if used, sent water over about 50% of the bathroom. The house is located on the corner of two busy roads and the traffic noise is constant. In addition there was a nocturnal critter of some kind in the roof whose activities were sleep disturbing The house is not secure with many windows not having either latches nor locks. Many windows also do not have flyscreens. The yard is fenced with 1.2m high fencing. We fortunately did not bring our dog but this would have been a concern had we done so. The barbecue is not at all convenient to the only outdoor seating area which is the very publicly exposed front verandah. For over $500/night, acknowledging we sayed over the expensive Easter weekend, we absolutely expect better. We left tired and feeling like this was not good value. It is unfortunate given the hosts clearly put effort into cleanliness and a welcome pack.

I love this house. I can sit on verandah watch the o'cean, relax with a read, cuppa or wine. Not to far into town. Safe for kids and pets. Plus a gift on table. Just a lovely calm space. I always love my stay. Can get bit noisy but that's all.

We had a great 4 night long weekend with our two teenagers and golden retriever. So close to the beach, I worked from the house on Friday, overlooking the beach with great internet speed. The front was lovely to sit and have a glass of wine and bbq. We will definitely be looking at re-booking, a lovely house, clean, room to spread out and a nice backyard. Thanks Leanne

The owners have thought of everything. Such a great place for a relaxing stay. Even the beds are amazing. Will definitely return. The only downside if it bothers you is the traffic on a weekday.

We loved our stay in Dunsborough. The house was perfect for our family - spacious, views for days and a short 10 minute walk to Geographe Bay - just watch the snakes. The owner has put a lot of thought into the little details of the house, from the soothing warm whites, to ample mirrors, things like hooks behind doors and comfortable furniture to lounge on along adequate cleaning supplies - all important things when you are a guest. We would absolutely return.

Beach front home. Excellent to have walk path out front. Has front fence. Can sit on verandah and just watch world go by, with wine or beer , cuppa in hand while relaxing 😍

This place we've stayed 3 times. I love sitting on verandah with a wine or a cuppa, we get left a pressy on table 🥰 lovely and clean, rooms great, the roundabout can be bit noisy but doesn't really bother us

The location is fantastic with a beautiful view of the beach across the road and about a 15 min walk into town. The house is great, very clean and you can tell the owners have made a big effort to ensure guests will have a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was easy and very friendly. Highly recommended.

The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen, beds were really comfy and bed linen was lovely. The house was decorated beautifully and the location was heaven. A lovely welcome basket on arrival, wine, biscuits and chocolates in the fridge. Fabulous place to stay, felt like home the minute walked in. Have already booked another stay before this one even finished.

Great property, this is our second stay and we loved it just as much the second time around. Very neat and tidy and the location and view can’t be beaten. The house has everything we needed and our 2 small children loved it. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon.

We came down in the July school holidays. Although the weather was terrible, we had a fab time due to the lovely accommodation. The house is airy with coastal decor and beautiful views across to the coast . It’s perfect to chill and relax, and little extra touches made it feel even more special.

Property was very much as described, well equipped and well located. Great for our small dog with a fully fenced-in front. Furnishings and bedding were comfortable; and we seemed to find everything we needed to hand for self catering. Plenty heating in rooms. Great beach views and walking distance to Dunsborough. Good wifi to cater for a family. Welcome note and wine!

We spent 8 nights at Sandbars Beach House with friends joining us for a weekend, The location was just perfect for us with uninterrupted views of Geographe Bay and walks along the beach to see the sunrise. While the property is located on a busy corner, the idyllic views and space afforded by the property counteracts any noise. We all found the ambience of the location soothing and ideal for a getaway. Within easy walking distance to Dunsborough township, golf course or a short drive to the wineries - we were very happy with our choice of Sandbars Beach House. Louise was also very helpful and attentive, with a welcome basket to boot.

The house has everything you need. Close to beach and Dunsborough and lovely gardens that attract the birds and possums. The beds are soooo comfy. Our only disappointment was the traffic noise, the road and corner is busy and it gets the early morning commuters and workers.

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. Everything was very clean on arrival and the welcome basket was lovely. First property I’ve ever stayed in where some kitchen essentials were provided. The front and backyards were completed fenced making it a safe option for our dog as well. Short stroll into town. Highly recommend!

Just brilliant. High standard of environmentally friendly cleaning products were an added benefit. The house is on a busy road and there is traffic but it’s one of the very few where you can see the beach so it’s absolutely worth it!!

A wonderfully located property. Easy access to beach, ocean views, has all the amenities you need, and close to town centre. The property is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Highly recommend it.

Was a great beach house. Great decor and brilliant location. Walked into town for a coffee with the kids, and beach views to die for. Owners sent us plenty of messages to help our stay and were very accomodating. We had a dog with us and the house is so well set up for pets, it was brilliant. Would stay there again in a heart beat.
