Annual trip to the lake to visit family in the area and unwind- beautiful quiet part of the lake. A family favorite for sure! Great communication with owners, and if needed are very responsive and respectful of stopping over or in our case dropping off a new fire pit- 5 stars!!

Beautiful just like the pictures. I am a clean freak and this place was spotless; above and beyond our expectations. Another plus---they have not 1; not 2 but 4 kayaks. So we all got to go together. Best family vacation ever!!

We were so happy to stay at this home again and have already booked for next year. Peg and Dana have a beautiful home which has everything you need for your stay. The view from the living room and deck is amazing. We spent our days on the water paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. We highly recommend this home.

This is our third year returning to this lake house for our family’s annual vacation. We always have a great time and everyone loves the kayaking and other activities the lake offers. We always feel right at home in this well cared for property.

Our family stayed two weeks at this fabulous lake house. The location was amazing - the quiet, tree-filled neighborhood was perfect for relaxing and just being together. Between the four kayaks and paddleboat provided, we were all able to be on the lake at the same time, either fishing or just floating while we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The house itself was just as described online - open concept first floor with kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom; plenty of beds upstairs and down; additional family room with tv in the basement, along with a washer and dryer. Outside there was a gas grill with plenty of propane and a fire pit with an unending supply of wood. We were able to just unpack our clothes and start relaxing. I would highly recommend vacationing at this amazing property. If we're ever back in the area, we plan to!

It is a wonderful place and would fully recommend to all that may want an ideal lake house vacation spot large enough for a family to gather. Beds could have been a bit more comfortable.

Beautiful Lake with many inlets and coves for quiet time. We spent time relaxing by the water, swimming with noodles, fishing from the dock (caught lots of sun and blue fish), kayaking/paddle boating around the lake and playing games on the spacious deck. We ( 2 families with our kids and now 3 families with 2 grandkids) have rented properties on various lakes in NH, Maine and New York for 40 years. This home was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking all our meals and for enjoying the lake. The shallow sandy entrance into the lake was perfect foe the 6 and 3 year olds and make entry onto the kayaks and paddle boat easy. The home is as shown with modern furniture and glass tables. It was spacious enough for games and relaxing when there were 8 of us. There. The main floor was open, spacious and comfortable. We thought we would mind the tile floors but in fact we liked them as functional for cleaning up after the kids. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. One twin bedroom has a window opening to the main living room so we could not use it for a bedroom for one of the grandkids. There are 2 twin beds in the finished lower level and the lower level is NOT musty or wet. There is a full size washer and dryer. Other bonuses to the Lake Arrowhead community- sandy community beaches, a playground and indoor pool by reservation. ( for the cooler early morning Sunday swim) The only 2 functional issues we would comment on regarding this beautiful home is the lack of access to the lake from the back deck ((we walked around or came thru the basement, no biggy) and the inability to leave open the sliders to let fresh air into the lower level ((no screens on the sliders) We did contact the owner regarding a couple of very minor issues (dvd and lights) twice. She responded and resolved our concerns promptly!

We had a great week in Maine! The house was perfect for my family of 4, my parents and my sister and her 2 kids. The kids loved the kayaks and the paddle boat and went out almost every day. We enjoyed the fire pit twice! The kitchen is well stocked and even included a corkscrew and ice cream scooper. I think the only thing I didn't see was a blender. I loved the fact that they had so many towel racks and had hangers in the closets. I have rented other places before and always wondered where to hang all the towels so they would dry. We didn't take advantage of the pools at the clubhouse, but it was nice to have the option. We made several days trips including nearby hikes, visits to Portland & Kennebunkport, which both were about an hour away, and then headed back to swim or enjoy the kayaks. The house was very clean and Peggyann was always responsive when I contacted her with questions. The area was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Our family rented this wonderful lake house for the second year and enjoyed our time there. The host was always available to answer any questions we might have. We enjoyed the kayaks provided with the rental along with the new addition (to us) of the paddle boat. The kids especially enjoyed the fishing off the dock too.

This house was amazing! The view of the lake from the wall of windows was great. We’ve owned property on this lake in the past and the location on the lake was perfect. Quiet enough to kayak and swim. Dock was big enough for our 24 ft boat. Location could not be beat!!

The house is beautiful, spacious and very, very clean, with gorgeous big windows to view the lake. We had a couple days of rain so having an open living area was wonderful for our big family. The children enjoyed the large basement area. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat and swimming in the lake. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This house was perfect for four adults and five teens who all love the water. There were kayaks to use, a great dock to fish from (highly recommend getting a temporary fishing license if you like to fish), and it is on a quiet side of the lake. There were so many places to explore by kayak. The house was clean, comfortable and just what we needed. The property manager was great at responding to any questions. Our children especially enjoyed using the indoor pool and game room at the community center. Reservations for the indoor pool were needed due to COVID restrictions but the staff was very helpful and the kids enjoyed having the pool to themselves for an hour (this policy may change as restrictions change). Supermarkets nearby were well stocked and the house was fully equipped for all cooking needs, including a great grill. We hope to come again one day!

The house was exactly as advertised, big and clean. We had a wonderful time on the lake and used this as a jumping off point to explore Maine and the White Mountains.

Peg was extremely responsive whenever I had any questions. There's much more at the house than what is listed...cookie sheet, casserole dishes, ping pong table, blender, trash compactor, propane grill, SEVERAL tower fans, beach towels, TONS of cut wood for the firepit, some spices and paper products. BTW, there are FOUR kayaks with several different-sized life vests available. The house was HUGE! The nine of us had plenty of room to navigate. It was clean and comfortable with loads of seating and room for the kids to play. The basement was the warmest floor but with the fans on, it was comfortable; and the family that stayed upstairs said the A.C. worked VERY well. The outdoor dining set was comfortable, and it served as a nice place to hang out when enjoying one's morning coffee. The lake was wonderful; it was nice and open if you ventured out a little farther. My son and husband went fishing and caught and released perhaps 9 fish one morning. We LOVED how peaceful the lake was at night and must have gone on a nighttime kayak ride at least 5 nights out of the 7. We visited Gooch's beach twice (about an hour away). The waves were the perfect size for our 2 thru 9 year old kids. We just wish we brought boogie boards with us! We even found a ton of hermit crabs! What an adventure! We went miniature golfing (there's several within a 45-minute radius). Not many big stores, but Wal-Mart and Lowe's were about 45 minutes away. Acadia National Park, on the other hand, was white a distance away so unless you like driving perhaps 3.5 hours, you may want to pass on that. Everyone agreed that we would stay at this house again. This is a wonderful lake house! We had such a wonderful, relaxing vacation! The lake is at your back door, no climbing tons of stairs. The kayaks were great fun and it was so nice having 4 of them. The house is more than you need with all amenities and was spotless on arrival. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing spot on the water, this is it!!

This is a gorgeous house on a beautiful setting. The home is spotless and filled with everything you need to relax. You wake up to the view of the lake and in the evening you can chill by the fire pit. During the day you can fish off the dock and use the kayaks provided by the homeowners. During our stay a tropical storm came through and knocked out the power, the homeowners were amazing and brought us extra candles, flashlights and huge cooler filled with ice. We will be back next year!

Great quite spot on the lake. House was really clean, and spacious. Open concept kitchen, dining and living room with plenty of seating and space. We enjoyed the fire pit outback at night. We had a great time & would definitely book again! The only 2 things that bugged us, and it’s not a huge deal, was the deck didn’t have stairs leading down to the back yard/lake area, so the big wrap around deck didn’t get utilized at all. We walk in and out through basement door. The other was the lack of a grassy area to play games on. Sandy with rocks & overgrown spots with grass. Other then that it’s a nice place. Owners were super helpful & nice.

There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the many things to do: kayaking, fishing, swimming, ping pong, and more. The central air was a pleasure to relax to after a hot day. Communication with the owners was easy from the start. Peg quickly responded to our texts and was very helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone. It was a great week vacation.

This lake house has all the extras. The location on Arrowhead Lake is so peaceful. I loved that we had access to their kayaks and could have a fire each night. Lots of dry wood available and a new gas grill for cooking out. The house was spotless and had all the kitchen supplies to make our dinner process easy. There are very few lake houses that allow dogs so this is a perk. You would never know that they allow dogs when you walk in because it is so clean. I don't have a single negative thing to say about my time at the lakehouse. It had all we needed. We will be staying there again hopefully next summer.

...time flies when you're having fun!! Before we knew it, the end of the week was upon us and we were having to pack up. Everything was perfect about this rental. We absolutely loved the location on Lake Arrowhead...so peaceful and beautiful. The house was very comfortable in every way with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and 2 full sized bathrooms. We took advantage of everything from coffee on the deck in the morning, grilling for dinner and ending up with s'mores and Jiffy Pop at the fire pit in the evening. Our dog spent so much time just "wading" in the water and watching the fish. Everything we needed to know was covered nicely in the rental manual left by the owners which left little need to contact them during our stay. On the occasion when a question arose, Peg responded immediately. Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us and we wouldn't hesitate to return should you be willing to have us.

The house was very comfortable for our group---lots of space inside, great deck with table/chairs, easy access to the water for kayaking and sitting on the dock. We loved being in the cove---it was quiet and beautiful! We're coming back next year.

Great week in up ME! Property was great for getting the family together for vacation. House was bright, clean, and well-equipped for cooking and activities. Owners communication was terrific and made us feel right at home. The finished basement also provided a great space for the kids to play and “keep the noise down” in the mornings! :-) Would definitely recommend this property and will book again!

We rented this lake house with my family. The place was beautiful ,very modern, neat and clean. I loved it. We had the best time. My family had so much fun in the water and sitting by the fire at night. This place had everything you needed and the lake was so nice. Peg the owner was quick to response to my questions. I would definitely recommend this place. I didn't want to leave.

Our Family just returned from a fun and relaxing week at this very spacious, well supplied, and immaculate lake house. We were very fortunate to have incredible weather and we spent a great deal of time enjoying the water, cooking on the grill, and having a camp fire. Even the one day we had a bit of rain, there was plenty of room inside for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren to have loads of fun AND we were still able to enjoy a great view of the water from almost every window in the house. Peg (& her Hubby too), the owner(s), are wonderful and very responsive. This is our second year renting with them, but in 2 different homes. Both homes are extremely well cared for, and very accommodating. If Maine gets the Family vote again next year, we will definitely being looking for availability here first!

We stayed for a week and had the best time. The bbq, kayaks, and big kitchen were great. The beds are super comfortable and to have 2 bathrooms for 6 people works out nicely. We used the fire pit and made s’mores...good times.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious Lake Arrowhead home. Our party of two families consisting of 4 adults and 4 children had room to spare. The property and the house are all about the lake. You can see the beautiful views everywhere you turn. On top of the beautiful views the house was well equipped. The kids loved using the kayaks and rafts provided by the owners and making smores around the campfire. The owners, who live near by even delivered extra firewood just in case we needed it without us asking. We wouldn't hesitate for a moment to come back and stay at this lovely home.
