My family had a wonderful time staying here for a weekend getaway. Janice was always available for questions and even was accommodating to moving dates with no fees due to a bad storm during our original plans. The house was clean and fully furnished with everything we needed and more. Would go back again.

There are thousands of great things to say about this place so I will start with the most important. The owner/hostess truly cares and is so helpful, thoughtful and quick to respond. She has carefully put together a booklet for staying here which I recommend you read immediately upon arrival. It will save you countless questions and wondering how things work, she really has thought of everything. The bedrooms are beautiful the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms have everything you could need and so does the kitchen which is super well stocked including spices, coffee, tea, popcorn, so much more. I love the fireplace and the couch is cushy and supportive at the same time. There is tons of seating both inside and out so you can relax no matter the weather. I spent most of my awake time in the naturally heated sun porch or the hot tub. The views are phenomenal and the neighborhood quiet and tree filled. My dogs loved the fully fenced grass yard while I appreciated that the yard is sloped so even during an "atmospheric river" storm, no puddles or mud at all! I just piled some of my own dog towels on the sun porch floor and let them dry their paws before coming in, so easy. The driveway/parking area also had no mud or puddles (packed gravel,) is more than big enough for two and is circular so you don't have to back out. I was blessed to have been able to stay for 10 days so utilized the very efficient washer and dryer. We spent morning at the beach letting the dogs sniff.

We had a magical time over new years 2023 at Bay View House. We love that we can bring our dog and she enjoyed the beautiful fenced backyard. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and decor suits the home perfectly. The location is nice and quiet, located near an easy hiking trail that takes you to Salmon Creek and beach. Our son is an avid runner and ran a different trail daily, and afterwards relaxed in the awesome hot tub. The nights were mostly clear and the stars put on a fabulous show, like you could reach out and touch them. We highly recommend the house and look forward to future visits.

The property is lovely, very cozy, and in a peaceful area, perfect for my daughter to work and us to stroll around the trails and magnificent views that Bodega Bay has to offer. Communication with Janice is great, quick response to any inquiries or questions we have. 100% recommended.

We loved our stay at this place. Everything in house is in sync with Sea theme. Pillows, decorations, color schemes added to our relaxed vacation. The house has a huge backyard which our dog enjoyed as well. It was great for a staycation. Janice was very welcoming and always available. Will definitely come back for another stay.

We had the honor of staying at the Bay View Home this past weekend. This was our second time staying at Bay View. Immediately entering the house, we had a sense of familiarity, to the point of Bay View saying “Welcome Home”. The home is in pristine condition. Janice goes ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure those who stay at Bay View are educated in terms of the amenities the home offers. If you take the time to familiarize yourself with the very detailed book provided by Janice that outlines how to use items such as the spa or heating, you will have no problem. For those who need additional guidance, Janice is simply a text or phone call away. We lucked out and had amazing weather. The highlight of our trip involved a quick drive to Hog Island Oyster Farm in Marshall to pick up some fresh oysters and take back to the house. We sat out on the sunny deck, enjoyed our oysters and “adult” beverages and enjoyed the wonderful views. Bay View by far is the best property that we’ve stayed at. This was a trip to a favorite place of my husband's to celebrate his birthday...just the two of us. I found this wonderful home to rent for our stay and it is just as described! Though it was a wet and windy stay, we loved every moment. Janice was great prior to our stay, providing all necessary information plus how best to find the weather outlook specific to the area. We will be back now that we've found "Bay View"!
