My husband and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary by taking a little getaway from all the hustle and bustle and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice and quiet, very clean and well accommodated. We’d definitely stay again!

This was such a great escape and wonderful cabin for my wife and I. Very quiet and even has a creek on the property. We love Montebello and the surrounding areas. We definitely plan on returning to this cabin.

The rental is very cozy and welcoming. Make sure you spend time down at the river/creek.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bear Paw cabin. The rustic beauty of the cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved walking down the road and seeing the river and wildlife. I would advise any future visitors to be sure and stock up on groceries and necessities before you come. As it says, the cabin is a little remote but that is just what we wanted! We will absolutely be back soon for fishing season and we will bring the kiddos!

This property is perfect for folks who need to unplug, and close enough to Nelson County attractions to keep you as active and busy as you want to be. The hosts are wonderful and make sure to check in with you to make sure your stay is everything you expect. Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by the mountains and the serenity and sounds of the river. Perfect!

My wife an I have visited this cabin over the last 9 years. Always a wonderful stay. I hate to say too many good things as I don't want to make it difficult to book it again in the future! Cozy cabin in a prime location for that perfect get away. We look forward to many wonderful returns.

If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay that's away from all of the hustle-bustle of civilization, definitely check this place out! The sound of water rolling off of the rocks from a nearby stream, the crackle of a fire and some chirping crickets were the only sounds that we heard at night. It simply couldn't have been more relaxing! The cabin itself was A+ in every way with all of the necessities needed and more! It was one of the best weekend getaways we have had to date. The owners were kind and attentive as well, if needed, but not overbearing or bothersome in any way. We will be looking forward to our next visit!

This lovely cabin was a great place to spend our weekend get-away. It was easy to access and came equipped with everything that we needed. The river was right behind the cabin and the area was a very natural setting. Neighboring houses were somewhat close but all of the adjacent rentals were empty when we visited. Very nice location but not 100% secluded.

As always, had a wonderful stay at this cozy home and enjoyed the outdoors.

We enjoyed or anniversary weekend at this cabin. It was just as expected and we enjoyed a dip in the creek behind the house. Our only complaint was the air fresheners had a strong strawberry sent that we did not care for. But otherwise had a great weekend.

Bear Paw Canin was beautiful decorated with a well stocked kitchen. It felt like a visit to my great grandparents home with all the extra blankets and love that is put in to this cabin. The owners were wonderful, checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We plan on going there again.

We have PLENTY of positive things to say about our stay. It was first ..VERY quiet as we were the only guests in the cabins at the time of our stay( no neighbors). The water is about 300 ft below the property and is perfect to cool off, as it's only about waist deep and crystal clear. Most activities ( restaurants and brewing companies) are a short drive( about 40 minutes) In case you want some civilization! I enjoyed reading the notes left by previous guest about their memories made during their visit. It was a nice touch to find extra items left by others, so make sure you check under sinks for simple products you may have forgotten( bug spray, charcoal, fire starter , spices for cooking etc.) The cabin itself was quite cozy and clean. We made breakfast every AM and ventured out during the day , and came back for bon fires and smores. We lost power and water and contacted the owners and the issue was promptly taken care of. The one thing I would suggest, is the outside property could use some sprucing up, nature has definitely taken over as most of the cabin is covered in webs, and none of the outdoor seating was clean. The sliding door off back room was same, covered in webs and dead bugs. It was very nice to see what life is like outside of a busy city., internet service worked great to keep in touch with family, when needed! We can't wait to go back !!!

I loved the cabin it was well decorated and very clean. Margret the owner was very sweet and helpful. I was able to walk short trail to the river easily. Very relaxing. Enjoyed my stay.

Bearpaw cabin was just what we needed for an unplugged plugged in weekend. The small river in the back was a soothing sound as soon as you open the sliding door. We are already planning our next visit to this property.
