Our family goes away every winter for a long weekend, and everyone agreed that this was one of our best! Margaret was a wonderful hostess, and made the checkin and checkout so simple. The home came as advertised and was in perfect condition.

The house and bedrooms were very spacious and clean. All had a great time.

Our group of over-50 childhood friends gets together every year for a getaway, far from work and kids. This property is idyllic for that purpose: well maintained, peaceful, serene, and low-key, with a lovely and responsive host. We'll continue to return.

It was another great weekend. We all had a wonderful time with campfire, canoeing, kayaking and time together as a family.

Our family group of 8 adults and 5 young children had a wonderful week at Inn Kognito 1. We enjoyed the association amenities: 2 beaches, 2 pools, Pickleball. Several of us biked, ran and walked around the neighborhood and usually saw deer. And we enjoyed the property’s own amenities: we fished off the dock, used the rowboat, kayaks, canoe and the fire pit. The house had all we needed; and the owner was quick to respond to questions and a minor appliance problem which was quickly fixed. We can recommend this property.

Enjoyed our stay for several days. House was very clean and recently remodeled. Boats were great for kids to use on the lake. Only things of note, the floors had a bit of a height transition room to room with the remodeling. We were fine, but might be an issue for small children or older folks. Also, not a master bathroom. The bathrooms were very nice, just wish I would have caught that ahead of time to pack a robe. I would stay again.

We had a group of 16 staying here. It had plenty of space and accommodated us just fine. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit the most. It was also conveniently located near places we could go for fun when the weather was bad. Overall beautiful place and the owners were wonderful and easy to get ahold of for questions. Hopefully we will be back!

The view, the fire pit and the home all let to a truly fun and relaxing long weekend for the ten of us.

Had a great time at the lake house. The kids loved the boats, pool table and fussball table. Kitchen was well equipped. Would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Inn Kognito, despite a rainy weekend. 2 families stayed with kids aged 1, 2 ,4 and 5 with plenty of space. The upstairs was great because there was a door separating the downstairs so essentially childproofed. We stayed in, made our meals and enjoyed the books and toys that were there, the beautiful lake views and the deer that came so close to the house! We did a few canoe rides and a campfire when the rain eased a bit. Was a lovely home, would come back!!

This place was right on the small lake. Love all the amenities this house offers. We had a party of 16 with friends and family. Plenty of bedrooms, kitchen area and hallways can feel a bit small at times. Owner was very responsive if we needed her. Would def come again!

Rental procedure was easy. The house was cold but warmed up when we finally figured out the heating system. Lots of dishes and pots and pans. Maybe add a couple more towel racks in your beautifully renovated bathrooms to accommodate wet towels. Hope to return when it is warm so we can enjoy the decks, lake and fire pit. Thank

Absolutely beautiful! The perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday. Plenty of space and accommodations. Beautiful view of the lake can't wait to go back! The host made herself available for any questions or concerns, she is fabulous. Everyone (24 people) who stay at either cabin was very happy with our stay.

We had such a great time this holiday in the poconos. The host was so attentive and easy to get in contact with if we had an questions. The house was perfect for my family and less than 15 minutes to get anywhere in the area. The house was cozy and clean definitely would book again.

We had 10 adults and 3 kids and we fit very comfortably in the home. The convenience of being on the lake and the ability to be able to fish, float, and boat at ease was wonderful for our family. Great spot for our vacation with extended family! To be able to wake up and be on the pond was awesome! Plenty of room for our group of 13.

Spacious, kitchen and bathrooms were well-appointed, very clean. The bed, sheets and comforters were very nice as were the supplied towels. The kids thoroughly had a ball kayaking, fishing, canoeing, - all supplied - (even the life preservers) and getting up to their knees in water and playing in the sand. All this right out the back door! The large back windows, the back deck and lawn chairs were great for the adults to watch the kids as they played and fished. In the evening, we toasted smores and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful sunsets on the water. The only amenity that was available during our 3 day stay was the outdoor pool which the 3 little ones enjoyed. The larger lakes had bacteria, the indoor pool was closed Tues and Weds and the Grill was only open Fri and Sat. So when you buy the pass, I suggest you ask for the days and times of operation because they tend to change from written material. (The playground, tennis courts and basketball court were open.) Three of us went ATVing - not me - and had a ball. Came back cacked with mud so wear old clothers. The owner was wonderful, answered all our questions in a timely manner and when we had a glitch on the last day, her and her husband were there in no time. All in all, it was a great place to get our family together and all 6 adults and 5 kids would definitely recommend this lakeside rental!

I was very impressed with how well the property worked for my family. The picture on the listing are good but do not due justice for this property. The sunsets were beautiful, deer in the front yard in the morning, and great rooms that were comfortable for everyone. I highly recommend booking this property

My family holds an annual reunion in the Poconos every year, and we've stayed at several different houses. This one was our favorite! The house is beautiful and updated, the sunset lake views are stunning, and the kayaking/canoeing kept our teenagers off of their phones for hours! The lake/pond is the perfect size too -- big enough to explore, but not so big that you're worried about your teenagers. The owner was very responsive, and communicated clearly and efficiently. We will be booking this property again!

We vacationed with 4 kids (6, 9, and two 15 year olds) and 7 adults. This was probably the best and most well rounded vacation we’ve taken. The location is great. We kayaked and canoes right from the backyard. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire. House was spacious and had everything you could need. I was surprised by the number of life vests available. Our trip was mid-June and we were worried that the weather wouldn’t be warm enough to enjoy but there was nothing to worry about. The community actually has a very nice and clean indoor pool that we used for cold days. Only a half a mile away and open Fri, Sat, Sun. The outdoor pool was also great. On the warmest day we went to the community beach which was the perfect spot for all to enjoy.

House was immaculate clean when we arrived, its was perfect for our friends and family winter weekend getaway. Kitchen has everything you can possibly need including lots of spices and utensils to cook, serving plates and all kind of glassware. Great location just 15 min from camelback and far from neighbors and busy roads for you to relax in a quiet environment. The lake was frozen during our stay but it was a beautiful winter wonderland scenery. If you are traveling with kids please note the tv is not smart you need to bring your Apple TV or wall projector for tv entertainment.
