Great, great vacation stay, centrally located for everything, will stay there again

This is great little place. It was perfect for my husband, me and our dog. Roomy. King bed was super comfy. Walking distance to Maxie's, Village Cafe and the Pinehurst Brewing co. If you don't mind walking, you can walk to the downtown area which is just over half mile. Kim and Roy were easy to get ahold of and super nice. Would recommend this place for sure!

My family & I had a wonderful weekend stay here. We had everything we needed, and the house was in a great location to downtown. It is within walking distance of a park and multiple trails. Overall a great stay.

We had a fabulous time! The house sits right on the edge of the village. It was walking distance to a lot of places. The beds are super comfortable and the place was immaculate!! We cooked in the last night and had steaks on the grill. The table can fit six comfortably, No problem. Thanks again and we look forward to visiting again.

Cute cottage that is spacious and well maintained. Pet friendly and close to Pinehurst courses, restaurants and stores.

We enjoyed our stay. Home is in a quiet location yet walkable to Pinehurst restaurants and Pinehurst Resort. Older home yet in good shape with lots of room. Kitchen well equipped and appliances in working order. We saw deer most days. Great spot for a dog. You can sit on either front or rear porch. I recommend this home.

This was the fourth year we’ve stayed in this house. It’s not fancy but it’s clean, has a washer and dryer, and is in a very quiet little area that is oh so close to the Pinehurst Resort, where we play in croquet tournaments. It is also close to restaurants, downtown Pinehurst, and Lowe’s. There are fancier homes, but we’d come back again. 👍

3 guys down to visit and play golf with a friend. The home was clean and spacious. One bedroom for each. Air conditioning worked well. We did not take advantage of all the amenities such as the kitchen and back deck/ BBQ. You can walk to the Village from the home and the Pinehurst courses are all very close. All 3 of us were happy with our experience.

This is our second stay at this property. We love the location away from the resort properties, and the condition of the home. It feels like our own place - which is something you can’t get at a motel. See ya again soon.

3rd stay and we love it!

There's nothing more I could think to ask for. Perfect location, perfect house, perfect host which made for a perfect experience.

Four of us stayed at the cottage while also visiting a Pinehurst couple who have had many hospital stays this year. It worked out beautifully for our annual get-together. Kim (owner) responded so quickly to any question we had and offered to help with anything we might need. Walking into town (a half mile at most) was easy and an enjoyable stroll. This is a cute, old, comfortable, casual home; the only thing we would have changed is the position of the dining table! We'd have reversed it with the hitch to make using the patio door easier. (We didn't.) Not sure if web description notes that two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom, with the third bedroom using the bath near the kitchen and living area. No problem for us but could matter to some groups. We'd stay here again any time.

This is a very nice quiet property. It is furnished well, and it's very clean. It's very convenient to the village (we walked). I would highly recommend it!

We had a great two night stay for a quick golf trip. The house was clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient and within walking distance to several restaurants including the Pinehurst Brewery! We would certainly stay here again!

We were in town for my nieces wedding. It was a great location, very close to the village and the Pinehurst Brewery. The layout of the bedrooms was great for myself, my husband, and two adult daughters.

Moonshine Cottage was a great place for my family while we were here for the Donald Ross Junior Tournament. Plenty of room and spacious. Great location. Owners were super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

What an amazing cottage!! Perfect Home! Very comfortable for our week stay! Will most definitely be back!! This cottage was close to everything including my son and his family which was my reason for visiting Pinehurst.. Home away from home just loved it!!

Cannot say enough about this adorable cottage! The location was fabulous, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic, and close enough to golf. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again next year!

Property was perfect for our stay during our golf trip. Close to the courses we played and also plenty of places to eat. It was exceptionally clean. Will stay here again on our next trip if available.

Nice. Bath rooms need safety bars for older guest as sip and falls could be a problem. Wife had to use front bath due to difficulty getting in and out of tub safely. Nice location for golf and very peaceful area of town. Deer in back yard really intrigued our pups.

We had such a great time in pinehurst while staying at this property. Kim was able to get us in for an early check in which was amazing…the place was very clean and well stocked. When we got there the cable and internet were not working. Kim and Roy spent hours trying to figure out the problem with spectrum before they came over themselves to inspect and found the the town had cut the lines right by the road. Roy was able to replace the cable and get it fixed in a very timely manner. We never had another issue our whole stay and everything else was perfect. I definitely recommend staying at this property, you won’t be disappointed
